[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]"I'll come along," Magnum agreed, wobbling over to the duo on unsteady paws. It was strange to be this short... he could see a lot of different things, too. It was confusing.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Magnum had helped set up the little event, and was quite pleased with how it turned out; he hadn't known that Nero had been a party planning extraordinaire, but apparently so! Glancing around with a huff of contentment, the tortoiseshell waded into the water, shivering as it soaked his legs. Blegh, cold.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]"Understood, sir." Magnum would say, staring up at Bruce with a barely noticeable smile. Now that he was a feline as well as Bruce, the Cardinal looked even handsomer! Though, the tortoiseshell doubted that he'd even noticed. He'd tried to keep his affections as conspicuous as possible, not wanting to get his cover blown.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]Over time, Magnum's crush on Bruce hadn't gotten smaller, as he'd hoped; if anything, it'd grown larger, threatening to devour the Priest completely. He knew it was hopeless — Roland and Bruce seemed to like each other a lot — but attraction isn't exactly something that could be controlled.

The silly little crush had chipped away at his militaristic demeanor, causing him to smile more often and drop the constant ultra-politeness. Magnum couldn't have it ruining him! But, at the same time, he couldn't just make it go away.

A distressed expression on his features, the tortoiseshell tom sat out by the ocean, staring off at the foaming blue waves. It was embarrassing, really. Why was Tlaloc doing this to him?

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;](bruce x everyone)

His ears pricking as soft crunches in the sand alerted him to the presence of another SkullClanner, Magnum gave a soft murmur of greeting, assuming that it was Nero; he'd been meaning to talk to his apprentice about a few things, namely swimming. He had no idea what he'd do with himself if the wolf drowned again.

Shifting his head backwards, the tortoiseshell opened his mouth to say something, but abruptly snapped it shut when he noticed that it was Bruce. Out of all the people in SkullClan, it had to be the one he was obsessing about. Damn. "Huh? Oh, nothing's wrong... I'm just thinking." Magnum murmured, shuffling his paws nervously as he spoke.

The Priest had never been the best at socializing, and the fact that it was Banner just made everything worse. Of course, he'd had some experience in love before; when he was a kid, just a pup really, he'd been good friends with a German Shepherd. Isaac was his name, Magnum recalled after a moment. He'd had a huge crush on the guy, and when he finally dared to admit it, Isaac had made a few awkward jokes; as if it was all a prank. That had discouraged Magnum from ever admitting his feelings to anyone for a long, long time. Of course, Wolfgate had always been quite handsome to the tom, but never in an intense fashion — he was just there, and Magnum was glad for it.

But Bruce? Bruce was more like... a constant flame in his chest, the attraction always eating away at him in one way or another. Tlaloc, Magnum hoped he could make it through this encounter. "Well... how are you?" he asked after a moment, shifting awkwardly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]Watching Bruce pause for a moment, hesitating, Magnum began to say that it was alright, he didn't have to answer. It wasn't that great of a question, anyway; just a formality, small talk. Besides, the tortoiseshell was guessing that Banner was a little... swamped.

If Magnum had thought that being a Cardinal would be hard, being the leader, if only for a temporary amount of time, was indefinitely worse. Having to manage all those SkullClanners... if you made one small mistake, the group could disband. Shuddering at the thought, Magnum gave a shake of his head, but paused when Bruce answered.

Remaining silent for a moment, the Priest weighed his options — staying quiet or actually answering — but spoke after a moment, curling his tail over his paws. "I understand, Bruce." was all Magnum murmured, hating the way he was always so respectful. He sounded like a goddamn wind-up toy; 'Understood, sir' or 'Hello, ma'am'. Damn it all to hell! Feeling a sudden wave of anger sweep over him, the tom clenched his jaw, staring off into the distance.

Banner's second remark made Magnum release a heavy sigh, and he gave a twitch of his whiskers, not knowing quite what to say. He didn't want to sound like a fool — which he probably already did — but clamming up would be the coward's way out. "Yes, the waves are quite steady in their routine." the tortoiseshell finally said, then wished he could bash his head in on a rock.

An unsteady kind of feeling curdling in his chest, the tortoiseshell tom inhaled — he'd heard somewhere that taking deep breaths calmed you down — and decided to focus on the waves. Dark blue and creating a spray of white foam as they crashed against the rocks, Magnum had to admit they were rather beautiful; the white-winged seagulls wheeling overhead were a finishing touch.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]You can give out Magnum's brother + sister, from NPC x NPC parents; there's no relations other than his Priest position. They can be around eighteen moons old, give or take a few. :>

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]A walk? In most romantic tales he'd heard, Person A had asked Person B to go on a stroll through the beach with them, which inevitably led to a night of kisses. Though, the tortoiseshell was sure that the inquiry was completely platonic; he still firmly believed Bruce would be hard-pressed to look twice at him.

Despite this, it was hard for Magnum to clamp down his mouth over the slightly stranged noise that sounded at the Cardinal's second question. "I'd love to go with you, Bruce." the Priest said after a moment, then winced. He was like some giggling apprentice; Tlaloc, what was he doing?

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]Breath catching in his throat as he watched the ivory feline plummet off a cliff, Magnum hurtled over, scraping to a halt as he saw the broken body being lapped at by the waves. Staring down at it, the Priest just swallowed, and lowered his head. May Tlaloc bring you peace in the afterlife.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]Kristen Banner? Since when had Bruce had kids? A slight hint of jealousy flickering in his gaze, Magnum approached with a dip of his head. "Welcome to SkullClan, Chantelle; I hope you enjoy your stay here."

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]"Is there a particular reason? Getting herbs that don't grow in ToBE, or are you here to learn?" Magnum asked, tipping his head curiously as he approached. "Encrypted, would you mind fetching Rosencrantz?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]"Here's something with green paint on it," Magnum said, nudging an old restaurant bag towards the Council Member. True to the Priest's words, it had splashes of green on it, that actually formed a logo; but the tom didn't really care as long as it was green.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;](traitor!! lmao)

Ears flattening and a growl sounding in his throat, Magnum would shapeshift into his larger canine body and bare his teeth at the SkyClanners.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;]Jumping backwards out of the way, Magnum aimed to swat at the jaguar's face, hopefully tearing a few gashes into his ear. If his attack was successful, he'd then dash out of the way, not wanting to get jumped on or anything of the sort.
