    Ribbonpaw had followed Cloudspots, silently but effectively. The multi-colored she-cat had healed from her wounds from her last battle with a beast and now she found herself terror-struck and hidden behind a tree.

    [size=8]

    Dawnwhisker sat back against a tree far far away from the commotion and the fox. Her eyes resting from all the battles they had been going through, What happened to the peaceful life? The she-cat could feel something was wrong, something was happening with her twin, and her body began to move on its own back toward the camp; eyes lit with fire.

    [size=8]

    She found herself stalking into camp; the leader look-a-like only became like this when something was seriously wrong, but only with Lightstar. The camp was in a flurry but Dawnwhisker easily glided to the location of her brother, not questioning what had happened but gently laying a tail across him. "It seems like it was just yesterday we were playing with Mama, is Papa visiting you too? Chesnutpaw?" Dawnwhisker asked rhetorically; wondering whom had come to claim his life.

    Dawnwhisker smiled, "I knew you would be fine, so I didn't fret over you like some over-bearing queen." the she-cat sat back, her eyes flickering upward, "Some days I wish I had become a medicine cat, then I could see them too."

    Lightstar chuckled. "Well if you were leader and that was happening to you, I'd be freaked out of my mind!" Then he lowed his voice into a soft and longing one. "Mom and Chestnutpaw are fine. Last time I lost a life I didn't see either of them, this time I was lucky enough to see both." Lightstar gazed up into his twin sister's eyes, wanting some support from her. Then he looked at his paws. "I asked for Chestnut's forgiveness." he mumbled, just loud enough for her to hear.

    Dawnwhisker sucked in a breath, "You did?" the very idea of that brought back memories she had tried so hard to push to the back of her mind. The golden tabby shuffled her paws for a moment, going over the events that had led up to it; they had decided to go hunting, but as usual, Chesnut had been sick with some stomach bug, Dawnpaw had known he was too sick to come with them so she had assured her brother it was fine to leave him behind. Chesnutpaw's death was her fault. "What did he say?"

    Gentlekit, an older, but shy kit, came forward from the darkness of the nursery; the shadows sticking to his deep chocolate fur. His amber orbs glanced wearily at Basilpaw as she dabbed the other kit's wound. Suddenly he found himself wishing for the safety of Plantpaw and Counterpaw; the love of his dutiful parents.

    [size=8]

    Ah I would love to make a clan/group thingy with you :)
    There's an idea I've had for a while that I retained from a book I read three years ago; although queens name their kits, when they become a warrior they have the chance to change their name completely.

    The names wouldn't be classic warrior names but more or less the first parts or other variations.
    Examples:
    Theo -> Zealous
    Lilliana -> Opal
    etc.

    Sound good? Yes? No?

    OOC: I know Robotic, I know; no harm done.

    Ribbonpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, wondering where Blueflame was in the hopes of going out and training with him; something she hadn't done in a while.

    Driftpaw glanced at the entrance to the camp, he wanted to go hunting but none of the warriors seemed to be around to go do such things.

    Dawnwhisker smirked, "He always was the best for shutting you up." the she-cat shook out her fur, "What ever you say big brother." She stood up on her paws, rocking for a moment before following him out; both their pelts shining with the same brilliance. Dawnwhisker's nose twitched on command, "It sort of smells like... Moonfire?" she didn't have the greatest memory of some of the senior warriors, just Uncle Finch and Aunty Ash.

    "No new injuries today! My gash is all healed up too." Ribbonpaw smiled before getting to her point, "You, me; an adventure. How does that sound?" she asked, "I mean, I know theres been dangers and stuff but I figured if we gathered up some of the other apprentices we could go over to the sandy beach for a swim."

    [size=8]

    Dawnwhisker took several moments to ponder the thought, "But he was hardly ever in camp; Aspenstar sending him on those excursions and such... Maybe.. Maybe that's why.."

    Dawnwhisker nodded, glad to see the familiar spark in her brother's eyes, "Who knows, maybe some of the others made it too.." Around that moment she could hear Moonfire asking for Lightstar, a rather rude tone to his request . "Moonfire?" She beckoned.

    Ribbonpaw assumed a thoughtful pose, pondering who else should come with them but deciding their small group was well enough for a first trip. "I think we have a good sized group.. And we should go see Honeypaw, and invite her to go for when she's better!" the pretty she cat smiled at the idea, "Do you want to go see her now before we go tell the others?"

    [size=8]

    ah I just love the names of all of your cats :]

    I would love to do a plot with Sailkit!
    Gentlekit, soon to be 'paw, is the son of Plantpaw and Counterpaw. He is an adorable little tom but he has the tendency to be shy; thankfully he does grow out of this as he gets older. Gentle is somewhat of a pushover and just wants people to be happy. During the apprentice days he wil be very restless and have bad nightmares so he'll almost always be tired, but he'll be open with Sail and tell him what's up.

    Although I'm not sure if you would want to use you example plot as our basis; for I do plan on Gentle becoming gay sometime during his late apprenticeship or early warrior days.
