I looked at Layla "yeah.... We are alright" as I spoke I snapped my shoulder back into place with a loud popping sound.

Jayson smiled "thanks" and he took a sip.
-
I turned to look at the massacre unfolding around us. It was locked in another bloody stalemate
-
Jayson quietly sipped his coffee, and retraced his route back to his stand. He was surprised at the lack of any other hunters that seemed to be here, but then again they had probably all been out since before sunrise.
-
"No....it isn't, but we can't lose here.......we won't lose here" I dug my sword into the ground and readied myself. I called forth what strength I had left and yelled "now men, give them everything we've got"
-
Jayson sat and waited. He finished his coffee rather quickly, then he began to fiddle with the few things scattered on the table.
-
The struggle continued but we began to push them back again. We were finally at the gate and some of the enemies began to flee.
-
The rest of the men were either cut down or they surrendered to the city guards.
-
I smiled and held my hand up to my mouth, I coughed up a bit of blood. "It's great"
-
I hugged her back and sighed "it's finally over..."
-
I smiled and fell to my knees. If I had a choice I'd have taken a nap right then and there.
-
Jayson smiled "hi, how are you?"
-
The guardsmen streamed into the city, they shouted and cheered. They drank, they yelled, they raised quite a bit of hell. But they deserved it for they had won. We had won. "I would say we've earned some relaxation time.......wouldn't you?" I asked turning to face Mina.
-
I slowly got to my feet and offered Mina my hand. "Shall we go see what the capital city has to offer?"
-
"Yeah....it's been awhile" I smiled and lead her into town. It was quite a large city, just about anything that you could think of was in the capital.
-
"It must be hard....if you ever need any help feel free to get a hold of me....from this number" Jayson scribbled down a number on a napkin and slid it over.
-
I turned to look at her "I know....it really is" I stepped in closer as the crowds got denser and denser.
-
I pulled her closer. "Are you alright?"
-
"Yeah.......actually no, I'm good thanks though" Jayson smiled then checked the time. It was still early but he would have wanted to be out by now.
-
"Yeah....I gave him a ride from the grocery store" Jayson spoke before taking a spoonful of his food.
