i think you should have the boy/girl rule. minus the exception that, for example, someone is roleplaying harry, and they have a female oc? does that make sense? xD

it would just be hard; roleplaying three characters is quite difficult.

today is the day. i'm going back to hogwarts!

if you were most certainly not a muggle, and were a wizard, especially a full blood wizard such as rita, you could practically feel the buzz of excitement in the air at platform 9 3/4. she, being sixteen, was going into her sixth year; she was yet another talented member of griffyndor's quidditch team. although she was nor a beater -leave that to george and fred weasley- nor a seeker, -that was harry potter's job- she was just another average member with an agile skill to her speed that nearly seemed to challenge the speed of light.

she swiftly brushed passed no wizard other than draco malfoy. "oh, hello there...malfoy." she said, no more than politely, with a brisk edge to her tone. "still picking on others, i see." she smirked. "looks like you haven't matured since last year. must run through slytherin." her eyes flashed; a twinkle of amusement in her daunting irises.

"easy there, jas." she soothed the white and gold colored owl, giving him an assuring pat on the head, "you know i'll let you out later."

"Hey," the redhead greeted happily to no one in particular. meanwhile, jasper made a fuss in his cage. "sorry, you'll have to excuse jasper here." she rolled her eyes playfully; her cheeks tinting pink with embarrassment as she sat across from neville. she'd remembered him fondly, as they were both Griffyndors, yet they'd only had a few conversations before.

"i'm guessing you're ready to be back at hogwarts then?" it never hurts to be on everybody's good side, right? rita pondered silently.

rushing off the train, rita was excited to get to the griffyndor common room. "Isn't it great to be back?" She murmured happily to no one in particular as jasper, whom was heavily annoyed by this point, started to complain in his cage. "Alright, alright there, jasper," rita sighed, lifting the latch to the birdcage, setting her barn owl free, "just promise me to stay here for a little moment so i can get my schedule." She rose, as the owl hopped up onto rita's bed and settled on top of it, as if he were to claim it as his own. rita looked back over her shoulder before heading out the door. "i hope you know very well that you're not sleeping in my bed, jas." She let out a harmonious giggle. "see you later, boy."

but little did she know, was that jasper had other plans in mind...

"expecto patronous," severus snape whispered under his breath back in his office, giving his wand a gentle flick. the outcome was not what'd he'd expected. instead of a regular doe, all that appeared was an unidentified glowing shape. this wasn't the first time the professor who taught at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry had experienced this...encounter. when the object, which snape presumed an animal, faded, he tried again. "expecto patronous!"" the man with the oily, greasy black hair repeated, this time, raising his voice to it's regular tone. when the object's appearance remained the same, he sat back in his chair fuming with both frustration and confusion. why is this happening?! he wanted to scream, i-i don't want to forget lily!

suddenly, the body of a barn owl appeared in the corner of severus' eye. It was not the result of foolish wand-waving, but a pet of a student's. he recognized the pet of no one other than rita baker's. "and what would you be doing out of your cage, hm?" snape muttered at the creature. "remind me to take five points for griffyndor." he added in his same monotone voice. extending an arm to the owl, it leap on his forearm. "looks like we've got an unlucky girl to find..." he started down the hall, his black robes trailing behind him. the school year hasn't even started and that baker girl already has trouble brewing up... snape thought bitterly.

basic plot: during their first year, fred weasley and lindsey everly meet unpleasantly. lindsey's a lonesome yet a bright young witch, and fred is an outgoing jokester. it isn't surprising that on their first day of class that fred and his brother george pull several of their pranks on her. afterwards, lindsey swears that the twins are her enimies, but as they grow, they surprisingly bond, and during their seventh year, things really start to take off.

i remember the first time i was introduced to fred weasley. it was our first year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

it was our very first day of class-i'd been sorted into ravenclaw house the previous evening, and fred, had been sorted into griffyndor-i, was quite anxious as ever, so i made a safe bet by getting early to professor snape's class: potions. which, with my luck, was one of the worst mistakes i'd ever made.
y'see, i'd always had the struggle of fitting in. i strode in my shy manner into that dark, dungeon-esque place we called a potions classroom and found an empty seat around no one else. i was either waiting for someone to find their place by me or to be lucky enough not to be picked on by another student.
quietly, i sat down and kept to myself. i knew nobody, as my brother greyson was yet a year older and in griffyndor.

but, unfortunately, snape found his way to my desk and squinted at me under all that black, greasy hair. i tried my best not to quake in his prescense, for he seemed to be my boggart that first day. "and i suppose you are everly's daughter?" snape's voice was a twin to ice: cold, smooth, and could send shivers right down your spine. i could barely nod out of fear. greyson had written owls back home that this certain proffessor was a moody, eerie slytherin.

as the other students began to file into the classroom, they didn't dare come to the desk where snape loomed over. his face showed no emotion as he spoke, i noticed. "your father was quite the wizard," the professor commented. "let's see if you can live up to his name, shall we?" i gave yet another taut nod, and the professor left me after giving me another steady look. i sighed in relief as he made his way to the chalkboard. i coped the other students' motions as they pulled out their quills and parchment from their bags.

snape had just begun drawling out a lesson in his dull, monotone voice when the door burst open, revealing two, ginger-haired, freckle-faced boys. i bet you can guess who they were by now. raising an eyebrow at the two giggling first years as welll as his voice, snape barked that ten points should be docked from griffyndor for the two weasleys being late, followed by the unimpressed groans of the students from the said house.

since there were no other seats, they found their seats on either side of mine. i felt myself cringe. these boys were nothing but trouble!
