Pantherstrike yowled in pain, but the pain was quickly relinquished. "Thank you," he murmured, angry a rat had gotten him again.

Pantherstrike interfered with the rat's lunge at Moonshadow. She had had enough beating up today by these mangy things. He lowered his head, guarding his neck to the best of his ability, before the rat got there. It resulted in having a makeshift horn from the rat. He shook his head wildly.
-
Pantherstrike stared at the newcoming cat. It was SilentCrys. "Yeah, they're pretty wretched," he meowed, hatred spiking his voice.
-
Pantherstrike stifled a yawn. The surplus of rats had lessened, so he figured it'd be a good time to rest up. He climbed up a wide pine and found a comfotable looking branch. It was dipped in, perfect for a cat. The tom circled around and lie down. He would rest here, blending in with the night. StarClan keep me safe, were his final thoughts before being consumed by sleep.
OOC:: See you guys tomorrow! Hopefully I'll still have muse to roleplay ;;

Pantherstrike woke up to the ear splitting sound of cats and rats tussling it out. So it all wasn't just a bad dream.. Bummer. The tom stretched and yawned. He had remained unscathed through the night. He looked down to see a swarm of rats almost directly underneath him. The tom dropped down from the tree, surprising and squishing the majority of the pests. A lone rat that dodged his attack clamped on his right foreleg. He growled and killed the thing. "Ow," he whispered in a hushed voice and licking his wounds.
-
Pantherstrike chuckled. "I had a good night's sleep, so I am ready to tear all those rats to shreds!" he yowled enthusiastically as he sliced through two rats. "How are you, though? I mean you nearly died yesterday."
OOC: yay, 100th post! :)

Berrypaw darted out from the apprentices' den, nipping at the few rats that had made it that far into camp.
-
Pantherstrike angled his ears toward a new cry. He stealthily ran over to the cat, remaining undetected to the rats. He took them out by the pawful, biting and clawing his way to the swarmed body. "Are you okay?"
-
Berrypaw trotted out onto the moorland, seeking more rats to practice her combat on. Unexpectedly, a hare darted out in front of her. No way was she going to let this easy prey escape her! She gave it chase. The apprentice was no more than a mouse-length's away from the mouthwatering rabbit when rats from either side lunged and clung onto her with their deadly fangs. Berrypaw yowled with pain, fending off rats to the best of her ability, which did not work for long. She let out a cry for help before the rats engulfed her into the furry madness.
-
"T-thank you," Berrypaw could barely spit out. What she did spit out was blood. Her eyes widened with fear, the expression lurking in them saying 'help me'. She had been bitten on the neck, almost gnawed through. She would die soon if her wounds were not attended to.
-
Berrypaw nodded without question and began leaning onto her clanmate's shoulder, limping as they went.
-
Berrypaw took the herbs without hesitation. The cobwebs Jadeleaf had placed on her gaping neck wound turned scarlet in a matter of seconds. The apprentice's eyes were clouded with worry.
-
Berrypaw flopped down into the nearest nest in the medicine den. She felt as if all the energy was drained out of her. No, I will not give up. I am a fighter, she thought, trying to comfort herself.

Berrypaw flinched at the sudden stinging.

The effects of the poppy seeds Jadeleaf had given her before they arrived to camp were starting to kick in. She slowly but surely drifted into sleep.

Pantherstrike had battled all the rats away from Sparrowfang, so he'd have some time to recover from the incident. A kit's mew reached him. He barreled toward it. Two kittens were fighting off rats lousily. The large tom threw a wild paw, hurling the rodents away from the kittens. "Lets get you two to safety," he murmured, glad the injuries on the young cats were not severe. He scooped one up in his mouth and placed the other on his back. He made his way to the tree he had slept in last night, battling rats as he went. "Hold on," he muffled through fur. Pantherstrike lunged himself up the tree, ignoring the tiny claws that sunk in on his back. He placed the two kittens in the circular part of the tree where he was safe all night. The midnight pelted warrior licked them on their heads and told them to stay put, sliding down the tree as he went.

Pantherstrike battled off rats with ease.
