Jay let out a sigh of relief. Though he was now just as annoyed at Kris as she was of him. She could have at least looked him in the eyes instead of making him worry.
"You need to learn to communicate better " Jay finally said. Through a great amount of effort he managed to get himself back on the table. He sat on it and looked at Kris.
-
Ooc: true
Jay slowly stood up. Pain scratched at his leg as if it was a monster playing with him. He wanted to puff his chest and yell at the woman, but he realized the pain she was going through.
"You could have taken the medic from me, I even offered to stay behind. Death isn't something to take lightly, I know that just as well as anyone else. I would have died for any of those nine people..." Jay said calmly. He grabbed a surgical knife on the table and put it close to his heart. "I have been close to death my whole life and no longer fear for my life" Jay's voice slowly rose "so, why do you keep me alive, why am I so worthy of life..if its my fault nine people are dead..WHY AM I SO IMPORTANT! "

Ooc: Its alright
There was a slight clinking of metal as Jay dropped the surgical knife. His mind was racing. Sonya had a long lost sister. A sister that felt nothing but pain for leaving her behind. Sonya would need to know about this, but Jay couldn't be the one to tell her.
Jay leaned into Kris and very gently wrapped his arms around her in a warm hug. "Don't ever blame yourself for the likes of that man. Nobody will blame you either. " He whispered into her ear trying to sooth the woman.
-
Jay slowly dropped his arms as Kris backed up. He watched her with exhausted eyes hardly listening to her. A slow moving migraine had started to form in his head.
"I didn't plan on telling anyone; however, you should talk to your sister.." Jays voice was eerily smooth. He slowly leaned himself against the wall next to his table. "Now if you'll excuse me..I think I'm going to bla-" Jays body went limp and fell.
-
Time skip?
-
"Sonya, don't move..your safe and alive " Jays voice came from the darkness. He was using a pillow on the couch to lean against so that he could sit up without hurting his leg. If Sonya woke up just 5 minutes before it would have been her there to comfort him to waking up. "I'm sorry but I still can't walk... I would kiss you if I could " He said sadly looking over to her.
-
Jay's eyes hid from hers trying to keep her from seeing him tear up. The image of her almost lifeless body was embedded deep in his mind.
"You almost died. Malcolm hit you with a knife while we were leaving.." Jay whispered to her. A single glistening tear fell from his chin.

Atlas quickly jumped up when he heard this. He picked up his bow and ran into the kitchen in nothing but his boxers. There in the kitchen he had a pile of arrows to choose from. He grabbed one and strung it.

Yamanu led them deep into the forest. They came upon a large redwood that extended high into the sky. Hidden at the base was a door that led underground into a large house. Lanterns lit the place showings the intricate carvings in the walls that show countless battles throughout history. There were several guest rooms and one large living room with a kitchen and dining room joined to it.
-
"Damnit Sonya! " Jay suddenly shouted. "Lay back down, I may look like I'm in a worse condition than you, but you barely made it. I'm still going on strong. " Jay rolled his legs off the couch. "Besides I still have one good leg " He pointed to his right leg which was clean compared to the rest of his body. On the other hand his chest, hands, arms, and legs were all heavily bandaged then he also had a small bandage for his cheek.
-
There was a sigh of relief when she told him the lie. His arms relaxed and he lowered the bow. He looked over at her with a smirk and gave a wink.
"Your just lucky I don't sleep nude " He said laying his bow on the table.
-
Jay slowly leaned back. He gently pulled Sonya with him so that she ended up laying on his chest. From there he leaned up and kissed her forehead.
-
"Well.. Eh... I really don't know, in the day I just play around with Shi and visit the shops here " Atlas stuttered as he realized he had been hit on by Anya. He had never had time for woman before and now it was something new to him.
-
"That's fine by me...but I need you to but my stuff back " He said noticing her full pockets.
-
"Well...." Jay paused. In truth he didn't know himself. His only real plan was to get Sonya out of there. Even then, he didn't know if she would actually be there or not. Jay was simply tempting death in hope he could save Sonya. He wanted to be the hero.
"I didn't even consider that. I just wanted you alive. Its the same reason why I carried you out into the field till I couldn't stand..." He murmured.
-
Atlas walked over and gave her a quick pat down. He then ran into his room and put on his pants.
-
"I'm sorry that I had left you... I just wanted to save you " Jay stuttered. He knew she hated him for that.
-
Atlas took the hood off Shi to let her fly free in the house. He kissed the bird forehead and headed outside.
