Flame crouched down in the cage. I'm trapped! He thought. No matter how much he pawed at the cage, it wouldn't go loose.

Flame heard a cat next to him. "Stupid Twolegs! Leave and never come back!" the voice said.

A dark shape appeared, slipping through. "Hello?" Flame called out. "Shhh!" the dark shape whispered. "You'll alert the Housefolk!" Flame nodded. The cat came up and opened his cage. He jumped out.

Flame and Axiona reached the hot spring. "Wanna swim?" Flame asked Axiona. A grin went across Axionas face. "Last one in the hot spring is crow-food!" She dashed off. "Wait for me!" Flame called, and ran after her.

Stripe curled up in the sheltered hollow, yawning, and fell asleep.

As Flame jumped out, he heard a cat land beside him. "Hi," The she-kit said. "I'm Splash." "I'm Flame." mewled Flame. "Wanna go and adventure with me?" Splash asked him. "Sure!" Flame's ears pricked up. The two stalked off silently, together.

As Flame and Splash trekked along the sidewalks, they saw something. "Look! A field!" Flame exclaimed. "Yea, lets go!" Splash piped up. The two ran towards the field.

Stripe was woken by a loud racket. Twolegs!

As they reached the field, Flame and Splash screeched to a stop. "We better find shelter." Splash mewed. "Yea, lets see if we can find a rabbit burrow." Flame answered. The two set off for shelter.

After awhile of searching, Splash had found a rabbit burrow. The two curled up together as raindrops hit the ground.

As the rain stopped, Splash shuffled, waking up Flame. "C'mon, lets hunt before we got to hungry!" Splash stated. Flame scrambled to his paws and followed her outside.

Stripe crouched low in a bush at the back of the hollow. He heard Twolegs yowling at each other and shivered.

When Splash and Flame split up, Flame slipped away and went to the city. When he got to the cages after awhile of walking, he saw some cat. But he also heard screeching from the cat to free it.

Flame and Axiona jumped into the water, laughing. "I win!" chirped Axiona. "No fair!" Flame laughed.

Axiona dived underwater to try and catch fish, Flame following her.

Flame let out a gasp and dashed towards Aspenleaf. He blinked at her. "I don't need anything. Are you ok?"

When Aspenleaf ignored Flame, Flame's eyes widened with hurt. He lashed his tail and whipped around, stalking out.

After awhile, Stripe heard the Twolegs yowls become fainter, and he sighed with relief.

By the time Aspenleaf noticed Flame, only Flame's little tail was left, which soon was gone as he stalked off.

By the time Flame returned to the burrow, Splash had caught two rabbits. "Bad luck?" Splash asked as he came in empty-pawed. "No, I went to visit the city." Flame answered.
