    Akinna had spaced out again, waiting for someone to volunteer to help look for Vixen. Lost in her own thoughts, her head was tipped slightly upward, gazing blankly at the treetops above. If it is meant to be then it shall occur. But if it isn't than it shan't. Contrariwise destiny usually prevails, however nothing is set in stone. Now I've gone and confused myself...


    Noise. Lot's of noise. Voices, yes, voices of the Tribe. Akinna soared from the heavens and back into her rightful place on earth, her attention keen once more. Blinking, her head leveled and her eyes fell onto Erzulie. She was back already? The duchess sprinted over to her beloved leader, skidding to a halt as she fell into place by her side. She caught tidbits of the conversation, though her mind, like always, was reeling. 'Tom, unknown identity, forcing....' What? She moved her head closer to Erzulie, intending to give her a comforting nuzzle, but then stopped, tentative. Maybe she wouldn't want physical contact, especially considering...


    Suddenly her eyes burned with rage. "We'll get him and we'll get him good," she growled. This wasn't over, not by a long shot.

    Hmm... YouTube comments... I can't think of one on the spot, but there are a lot that crack me up. I notice ComicFire7 is infamous for getting flooded by Soviet Russia jokes. Hurrhurr.

    This kind of thing hits really close to home. If you guys could sign this petition, that would be fantastic. This little babe is very very close to reaching it's goal, just a little more. And you can help!


    However, yes, I do acknowledge that it asks for personal information, but underneath all the boxes that you fill out, there's a box that you can check and uncheck. By unchecking one of the boxes it forbids your personal information from being released to the public, then you're all safe and protected. :3 The other box is only necessary to be checked if you want to keep an eye on the event {I sure do.}

    I was going to avoid this thread, but... *sigh*


    I don't usually say that I've been "bullied". But I have received a lot of teasing and and harsh labels from my classmates... well, some of the labels were harsh, some were just... There, but they were still annoying nonetheless.

    Scene
    Gothic
    Fairy
    Slut
    Dyke
    Wanna-be Asian
    Robotic
    Headcase
    Fat
    Anorexic


    To name a few. It's not my fault I like to dress in darker clothes instead of pastel colors, it's not my fault I like girls, it's not my fault that I like anime and sushi to the point of obsession, and it's not my fault that I get depressed more often than my classmates and when I get upset my voice goes flat and emotionless-- like a robot. But, I still get comments from my classmates. I just consider myself lucky that my bullying was never physical. However, the comments about my body I did believe, and I went through a phase where I ate less, and every few days or so I'd skip eating all together.


    Bullies, of course, have insecurities like the rest of us. They're weak. If you stand up to them, have a firm voice, and lift your chin so you can look them in the eye, you'll find that they aren't so tough. Keep a sharp wit about you, and have come-backs at the ready. If you shut them down, what can they really do? They won't attack someone that's strong, they pick on kids that they think are weak and won't do anything. Just keep your head held up high.


    What doesn't kill you will make you stronger, right?
