He slipped up beside Ymir and observed the moving pictures on the white screen, his single golden eye stretched wide in awe. The tom pawed at the screen causing it to shake a bit side to side and he discover that the humans that appeared to be there were not truly there. He quickly trotted back up to sit down next to the first-mate. "Humans? Do ye know what this is? What's the purpose?" He let the questions fly from his mouth as he turned to face the black cat.

They were quite the collection, hovering, plentiful, and colorful. The grey feline scooped up a nice purple one in his jaws carefully and approached the group. He wanted to give someone a scare so he walked up at Ymir's side, the purple air bag bobbing as he walked. He sat next to the corbin-furred figure with a mischievous look in his eye. Kidd brought up a forepaw with unsheathed claws to slap the balloon clutched in his mouth, leaning close to the first-mate. The balloon bursted with a loud [i]POP!. Kidd's ears were perked and his fur was standing on end from the noise so close to his face. He assumed that the first-mate may have not been scared by the noise but perhaps annoyed. Good enough for Kidd.

He was pleased to have both of their support. He awaited the final verdict choosing to remain silent, not wanting to give more of his opinions out. He wanted to known his clanmate's thoughts. He knew his own already. The dappled grey tom sat with his tail wrapped around his paws and waited.

The first-mate who was now a fierce female jaguar was nothing like the image of the unsure, learning apothecary, calico tom that Kidd remembered. "Well greetings old acquaintance. Avast, you have changed with time!" He spotted the ginger coat of Avorio who seemed more or less the same as before. It was nice to see the welcoming image of the Skulls Lady. "Ahoy. Good to see you again as well, miss Lady Avorio."

The slate grey felid's ears perked at the familiar soft voice that had called his name. He looked to see the young clouded leopard. It was Aolani. He was perhaps the most excited to see his old childhood friend. He remembered the spotted femme and her young cougar boy friend. The two of them were some of the only youngsters in SkullClan when Kidd had lived there. Kidd jumped down from the dock railing and trotted over to Aolani. "Aolani! Lass! It's good to see you!" He smiled showing his pearly whites and he stopped to stand less than a tail length away from the trainee.

This face was a new face. Kidd didn't remember her from before but he smiled all the same. "Greetings Peachmoon and thank you. This place is a bit different than I remember." He looked over at the dinner and tried to see into the windows. When he was around the Skulls had denned in an old pirate ship. Now it appeared this restaurant was their home. "Does the crew sleep in there? I think I'll check it out."

He remembered Porie from his time in the Skulls and had recently rejoined as well. The dappled grey tom grinned at the always spirited canine. "Welcome back, Porie!"

Old habits are hard to break, he guessed. Although, Kidd couldn't understand a mindset like the founders of the Skulls had. He smiled at Peachmoon and was happy to have her support. She seemed like a sweet and level headed girl when he'd met her earlier. The Skull wasn't content with the outcome of the meeting just yet. He wanted a verdict reached or at least a few words or opinion from the Captain.

He kicked up particles of the beach's snowy white sand as he skidded to a halt under the palm tree. The dappled cat glared up at the hairless figure above, squinting his single golden eye. He was eager to hear the news and the good news hopefully brought by a meeting might pick things up in the clan. Lately or ever since he'd gotten back to his home in SkullClan the group had seemed a little off its feet. The Skull waited for Cerberus to speak further. He announced his presence and arrival with a quick, "Here, Capt'n!"

Activity was at an all time low. He'd work to find new crew members if he could. Despite the bad news, he was happy that the ladies were now equal. How interesting? He could now be ordered around by a female or even lead by one. The tom didn't mind and found this change exciting. "Congrats, Miss Havisham, Avorio, Peachmoon, and all ye other lassies!" Kidd shouted cheerfully to the women. He wanted them to know he welcomed the new policies and Cerberus did as well it seemed. It was also good to hear that the pirate focus would continue. Without his identity as a self-proclaimed pirate the young cat wouldn't know where to go in life. Being a pirate was him. He was being a pirate.

He didn't care for the mud as he was usually quite unclean anyway. He chiefly liked the beach in the rain. He liked how the wind and ocean waves picked up and became almost twice as powerful and how the lightning struck the massive body of water far out in the distance. To him, it was the perfect picture of power. It was amazing to watch the ocean during a storm. He sat in the sand ,that was no longer white and fluffy but rather thick and brown, and gazed out at the ocean. When he spotted a few of his fellow Skulls about out of the corner of his single eye, he turned to look towards the tropical forest behind him. The woods looked unwelcoming and the palms swayed in the wind.

He followed a little after his clanmates towards the inland parts of SkullClan's territory. He was curious to see what they were doing and when he walked upon the blue and white cat Kidd halted. He sat beside the much larger feline with wings. Peachmoon had already asked the newcomer the standard inquiry but Kidd added a little to it. He took in the drenched tom in front of him from Rovic's muddy paws to his sleek wet tail. The pirate chuckled a bit, merrily as if in delight. "Well ahoy there. Ya must be one crazy scalawag to be out in this monster of a storm. What's your name?" He made sure his voice was audible through the noise of the falling water and gusts of wind.

Kidd didn't hang around in the woods often. He usually preferred the beach and coast but today he was scouting the shaded forest. At first just merrily jogging about the trees he suddenly became more alert to the quiet distant sound of heavy footsteps. The feline quickly climbed up a nearby tree and held tightly. He waited quickly. He had fear for the approaching monster. His yellow eye soon caught a glimpse of brown fur and a large slow moving figure. He continued to wait in the tree and when Casey neared he spoke down at the bear in a curious and cautious tone. "What is a large land beast like yeself doing here?" Kidd didn't know the guy around SkullClan.

If a crew member called a meet and greet the buccaneer was there. He attended these things willingly. The dappled grey cat examined the new cub before him. His pelt was spotted, handsome, and shinned a great golden color in the hot sun. It was also obvious that Thatch would surpass Kidd in size which was fine since he was a jaguar. The Skull also noticed the bear and she-cat whom he also wasn't familiar with, so this would be a fairly productive meet and greet. He focused on the youngest first. "Ahoy! You're James's boy ain't you?" Kidd asked the jaguar cub.

James had given birth? And to two baby cubs? Shocking. It was more shocking when Kidd heard that the dark colored one was dead. The tom was deeply sorry. He thought it be nice to have Peachmoon about at a time like this. Where was the doc when you needed that girl? Kidd supposed she'd come in time. The grey tom moved closer. "Mm, my deepest sorrows.. May that one rest in peace. " He paused a while in respect to the still born kitten. He eventually lifted his head from its bow to look at the spotted mother. "Congratulations. The one ye have is thriving. You're a mum now!"

He didn't recognize the animal to be the leader of DarkClan in a deer body. He didn't much about DarkClan and he couldn't remember the two groups interacting much. Distantly he remembered a war between the two clans but he was sure that DarkClan had been on the opposing side with The mountain clan, WindClan. Still unknowing of this the Skull approached the deer and not knowing she was a leader he addressed her with less respect than he'd normally have wanted to if he'd known. "Eh, ye going to have to speak up, lassie," he said with a small good-natured chuckle.

"I reckon we can head out now. Where do you have in mind we patrol? Somewhere exotic or dangerous I hope." He remembered as a younger cat when he was apprentice-aged he thought even the salt pine forest on the Skulls territory was dangerous and exciting.

"You're look'n for Cap'n?" He asked here though not in curiosity for he'd heard her right he was sure. "Captain Cerberus will be here soon. He's around," the tom assured her as he glanced around to look as if expecting the hairless felid to be there.

He heard her name but it didn't mean much to him. He didn't know much about the names of leaders from other clans aside from the few that SkullClan was close to such as Shadow. "Call me Kidd. It's nice to meet ya, lady. Are you a natural forest beast?" His question was strange for he was quite uneducated about species not common to the shore despite the salt pine forest on the Skull's island, but then again he didn't enter there often.
