[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=black borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; overflow: auto; height: 100px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;]POSITIVE TRAITS: "Honestly, they're kind of hard to find." (Collis is extremely determined, to the point of pushing himself through dangers and situation most people wouldn't survive. He's also considerably intelligent and creative, using this to his survivability. And even though Collis doesn't show it often, he does care for the world around him and wants nothing more than love back.)
NEUTRAL TRAITS: "Let me think for a second." (Perfectionism is something Collis strives for, as only through perfecting his Dark Magic would he ever be able to control it properly. His ambition to remove the curse, while admirable at first glance, has the potential to be quite destructive on him. He's also keeps very much to himself, only really saying something when necessary.)
NEGATIVE TRAITS: "That's a lot easier." (While Collis keeps his emotions in check, once pushed beyond his breaking point, cannot for his life hold on of this in. This includes both anger and sadness, as his rage is near unstoppable and his sadness gut wrenching. And as stated before, he tends to keep pushing himself to the point of self harm, which in turn adds to his already darkened outlook on the world."
MBTI TYPE: "I don't know what that means." (INFJ)
ZODIAC SIGN: "I don't know about that." (Capricorn)
LIKES: "..Things..?" (Calm moments, getting closer to his goal, emotional support, being loved, sweet drinks, spicy food, helping others.)
DISLIKES: "Ooh, plenty trust me." (His father, Dark Magic, hurting innocent people, anyone trying to hurt him, himself, show-offs, showing emotions.)
STRENGTHS: "Once again a difficult question." (Physically strong, immense willpower, strategic, creative, powerful magic.)
WEAKNESSES: "That's easy." (Difficulty with controlling magic, pacifist, emotionally breakable, teamwork is difficult.)
PHOBIAS: "I don't fear much, except what I could do myself." (Atychiphobia, fear of failure. Autophobia, fear of oneself)
QUIRKS: "I bite my nails quite often, me being nervous and all."
DISORDERS: "With all I've been through, could you really blame me?" (anxiety disorder, though not to the extreme)
BELIEFS: "I belief in myself, that all i can do now."
THE TRAIT YOUR CHARACTER CONSIDERS THEIR BEST: "I refuse to give up, until I'm finally rid of this curse!"
THE THREE WORDS THAT BEST SUMMARIZE YOUR CHARACTER: "Pessimistic, determined and depressed."[/fancypost]

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis grunted under the heavy pain that split through out the right side of his ribs. Blood dripped between the cracks of his bloodied fingers, holding anymore blood from spilling the earth beneath him. The attacks had been ruthless the last couple of weeks, making him more cautious than he'd had been in months. And one of the assailants got a lucky shot on him, stabbing him up to the hilt of the dagger that Collis had unceremoniously pulled out when he got the chance to escape. He wasn't about to fight, not with this wound and the amount of people he'd had to knock down.
But that still left him with a serious injury. If I don't take care of this, either they will find the blood trail or I'll pass out... The thought gave him a slight boost in confidence, his steps getting lighter and lighter. But that still wasn't enough. Collis quickly scanned the forest's surroundings for any plant life that could stop the bleeding momentarily or atleast take the edge of. As much as he hated to admit it, a drug-type effect was probably a better option than holding out until the pain became too much or the blood loss would cut of proper oxygen to his body.
Luckily for him, Collis noticed a specific plant that was known for its healing properties. Aloe, wasn't it? Either way, it could stop the bleeding enough for him to reach a town, hopefully. Then again, how would he pay for medical expenses? Details swirled around Collis' head while moving towards the Aloe Vera. However, before being able to respond, his feet cracked some of the twigs beneath him. Which usually was something he took into account. The sound must have alarmed one of his assailants, as within less then two second he heard a female voice snarling between the trees. He quickly hid behind the closest tree, peaking slightly to each side to find said female. Remarkably, she wasn't too hard to find, the contrast of black scales and red fur making her kind of stand out between all the greens and browns. And the daggers she held shone threateningly in the cracks of light that the forest had let through.
Collis quickly explored his options. Running was something he wasn't in any condition to do right now. Fighting her was a lost cause as well, the wound reminding him way too much. Besides, she seemed capable of easily taking care of anyone daring enough to fight her. Perhaps she isn't an assailant, just a local of these woods. But am I prepared to take that chance- But before the could even turn it into a question, the pain in his side grew ten times as strong, blood pouring out at an alarming rate. Collis gritted his teeth to not yell out in pain and stepped out to the female creature. ""Please, help me... I've been attacked by a creature and it wounded me harshly..."

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]OOC: Sorry for not responding.
With the pain making his eyes squint, Collis removed his hand from the wound. With a quick glance he saw what he was trying so desperately to withheld from bleeding. The stab had begun to get infected, the size and shape much worse than what it originally was. Just seeing it made his stomach twist a little. How did I manage to walk with a stab wound like this? he thought, another sharp pain making him cough violently. Drips of blood hit the earth, quickly colouring the browns. Another sharp pain made Collis grunt loudly, quickly reaching out to the wound, grasping it with both his hands. Gosh darnit! His vision became blurry, his body shaking from the loss of blood. He returned his stare at the female in front of him and removed his hands to reveal the wound again.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Stung was a clear understatement in Collis' eyes. It took nearly any of his willpower to not yell all the profanity he knew at her. Instead he had to resort to keeping his stare black and his mouth closed, teeth gritting themselves to dust behind his lips. And it hadn't eased the pain, not even a little. But the creature was right, getting hurt right now was loads better than dying. And Collis had to admit, the girl knew what she was doing. The bandaging was neatly and quickly done, which no novice would be able to do. Heck, he thought, probably most medics wouldn't be able to do it this quickly. The medicine used held ingredients he'd seen before too, so poisoning him was also something she wasn't after. For the moment Collis relaxed a little, taking a seat on the dirt. He looked at the Dragomorph for a moment, thinking up the best way to thank her for her help.
But before Collis could even let out a syllable, her face got close to him. Way too close for his own comfort. He leaned back slightly, twisting his face into a questioning expression. Then that weird sentence came out of her mouth. 'Hey, I seen that face somewhere,' In just a split second all his fears returned to him. Perhaps she was with those men that tried to kill him. Or perhaps she was sent specifically to get him. But showing he knew, Collis felt, was not gonna help the situation. Luckily the situation was saved by her following question; 'What brings you to Terrarius, Finibian? Us Terrarians don't really care for you people. It was plenty for him to work with, atleast to keep him from being suspicious.
"I'm a wanderer, exploring the world for knowledge." he explained under pained breaths. "My family hailed from a small town in Finibian and after years of living there, I desired to find out about the wonders of the world. Even the dangerous ones that attacked me." A little smile grew on his face, hoping she'd find the joke funny.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]The speed of what happened in that fraction of time took Collis by suprise. Not only did this creature attack the Dragomorph, now given the name 'Kisarji', but was quickly killed and replaced by a harpy of all creatures. The human squinted his eyes again, realising all to well that these monsters had been called by him, probably because of his injuries. Whenever he was in severe danger, these demonic animals would come to him, attack the assailant and leave. Though sometimes they were too feral in nature, attacking even himself. Collis nodded to Kisarji and lifted himself of the ground, stabs in his right side making it more awkward than it needed to be. He could walk well enough now though, which was plenty enough. "I'd rather you not touch me anymore," he responded to both of the females. "And ice won't be necessary either. I have to get going." All these coincidences had started to make Collis paranoid. For all he knew these monster started to protect him because they were after his blood. Not the first time he was duped.
But his legs were resisting, almost making them feel like lead had filled them. Why couldn't he move? Why did his body have to shut down now? I must have lost too much blood the last couple of days... Collis thought, his anger to his own body swirling in his head. With all his might, he tried to take a step. the first one landed well enough, but his front leg wasn't strong enough to carry him other than that step. His leg gave away, making him crash painfully into the earth. And combined with his wound, he could only let out a sharp yelp as the wound began to hurt all over.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis' eyes shot towards the Harpy. "My name is of no importance. And I already told you, I'm fi-" The sudden coldness of the ice made him jump slightly and made him crawl backwards. Though he didn't know if it was because of the ice itself, or the fact that people had touched him too much. All it did was make him on guard more and more and Collis began to feel that he'd reached his limit. "Don't touch me. I just need a moment and I'll be on my way." Everything after yesterday was just piling on his already terrible luck. Now he was wounded and forced to rely on unkown people to care for him. And Collis still felt that somewthing was amiss with these constant coincidences.
Once again the human tried to stand up, this time making sure he had proper support. Once again he looked at the female harpy. "You better leave before more of the monster come around and rip you to shreds instead of your map." he said, panting under the constant pain in his side and the sheer exhaustion he finally began to feel after the day long run with this wound. He turned around, once again heading of to the forest's denseness. But the moment he took that first painfully heavy step, he sensed another monster, close to his location.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]There must be a town close by, if this many people roam these woods. Collis thought, trying his best not to topple over from exhaustion. All of these moments had began to piss him off, his left hand clenched tightly into a fist out of rage. That Dragomorph Kisarji, the Harpy, the monsters, all of it on top of the stab had started to get to him now. Another sharp pain in his side, another painful cough, another wave of uncertainty that made him question people. Collis eyes turned sharper and sharper, a black vortex swirling around in his irises. His breaking point reached, he stopped for a moment, feeling the monster he had noticed before getting dangerously close. Though who was in danger was a much bigger question.
Then it jumped out, a wolf like creature as the same that attacked Kisarji. The feral roar of the monster, the pain in his side, the questions in his head. At the sound of that creature, Collis mind turned blank. Once in a while, life took it's toll. With a quick spin, Collis brought his right fist around and within the same motion, a dark glow surrounded his 'weapon'. With one mighty punch and a yell of frustration, his right fist connected with the monster's jaw. For a moment, the creature lay there in the air, as if suspended by a thin rope in the sky. But then it flew off to a nearby tree, crashing into it and denting the tree enough for it to nearly fall over in agony.
Collis just stood there for a moment, right fist still in the air, as if triumphant of the beast's defeat. But as he stood, he fell to his knees, feeling he'd reached his point of exhaustion where his body wouldn't listen. His panting became erratic, desperately trying to keep himself from sufficating. His limps shook, barely movable under the heaviness the had now.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]The heaviness continued to pile up, feeling like a hunderd pounds wrapping around his four limbs. Collis tried to fight it, but it was too much even for him. Desperately collis snapped for air, but no matter how much he inhaled, his body desired three times as much oxygen. Yet it didn't make him fall down this time. He couldn't allow that, he wouldn't even think something like that. With a powerful intake of oxygen, Collis attempted to get up. His right leg took the step, only to nearly slam back to the ground. Frustration filled Collis eyes, internally screaming at his body to get in third gear. Another attempt, yet this time the leg managed to hold out long enough for him to use his arms to push himself upwards.
And there he stood again, breaths still as erratic as they could be in this situation. A small wave of victory washed over Collis for a moment. But he knew that another step was gonna be even harder to preform after that mentally exhausting test. But you have to, he repeated in his head. You can't let them, or Him, win this battle. Then the sound of snakes reached his eardrums, making him worried that these were more monsters for him to deal with. Fighting was something he disliked and even if he wanted to, another attack like that would have most likely made him an easier prey. After all, Collis couldn't protect himself when eating the dirt.
All he saw as an option now was to walk as fast as possible out of the forest. He took the first steps, feeling every single one of them taking away whatever years he could have gotten had he not taken them.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]The same sound Collis had only heard minutes ago was still behind him. Darn it! At this rate, whatever is after me will get its next meal on a silver platter, the human thought with disdain. But running wasn't an option, neither was fighting. Perhaps whatever magic he could muster could be used to atleast create some distance. But walking was already a task requiring whatever physical and mental strength he had. A simple magically powered up punch nearly made him pass out. Then 'it' came to mind, that last 'thing' he had whenever he was attacked.
Collis stopped his advancement and closed his eyes, focused solely on the right moment to strike. All he could do now was hoping the creature wasn't too feral, or all was over for him.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]OOC: Wow! Can't believe I forgot about that! My sincere apologies!
Even though Collis had assumed it to be those snakes that landed on him, the moment that something had landed on his shoulder, he officially began to freak out. He toppled over out of sheer shock and smacked painfully on his back. "What the heck!?" was all he could exclaim at this moment in time. Quickly scanning what had fallen on him, he noticed it was a raven that had flown done and landed on him. All he could do at this moment was stare blankly at the fact that this animal had nearly given him a heart attack. But part of him told him that this was no ordinary raven, almost as if this creature was more sentient than any raven that may lived in these woods.
This day is getting stranger by the minute Collis thought, though for once it was something that didn't intimidate him as much as humanoids or snakes that wanted to eat him for supper. But now he was on the ground again, his initial plan ruined by this raven. His relieve became caution in a micro second, as standing up would only worsen his survival chances. Once was already too much with this wound and his ever growing exhaustion. "D-darn it, raven. Thanks to you I'm gonna get eaten by a couple of large snakes while you'll fly to your freedom. Nice to know that even nature wants me buried."

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]OOC: Just got on here properly, reading about Piper contorting in front of Collis, turning giant and trying to carry him off. This is why I wake up every morning.
IC: The moment the raven had began to boil and contort in front of him, made Collis sure about something. This was both his strangest and worse day he had ever had. Now he was staring at a raven as giant as an elephant, something that would never even cross his mind as potential dangers. His thought process was cut short as the creature grabbed him by the shirt, or what was left of it anyways, and tried to take of with him. Now the whole 'getting eaten by snakes thing' was the least of his worries. A creature like this could swallow him whole, which was made even easier by how he was at the moment.
Without thought, Collis began intinctively to struggle against the raven, but his body couldn't do much other than to feel heavy. Too heavy for him to even barely lift a finger. His usual calm demeanor was completely shot, getting more desperate by the second. And the blood curling roar that whatever other monster had let out, was making sure that if he wasn't gonna get eaten by the raven, so would whatever else was chasing them.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis now began hearing voices in his head. Was he really turning insane after all these years of being chased by humanoids and the occasional monster? To the best of his ability he tried to remain rational, even if this whole situation was getting stranger by the minute. Luck was for once on his side, as he got his mental composure back enough to realise he was being swallowed up by the giant raven. Collis tried fighting it, though once again his body refused to be of much assistance. Sliding into the beasts mouth, he could only grunt in discomfort. However, the raven had not swallowed him up, Collis now lying right behind the beak.
Now completely surrounded in slimy darkness, Collis began to strategize, trying to get whatever air was available to him. It hasn't eaten me yet, meaning that the raven is trying to protect me. Whichever reason it may be, atleast I'll have a moment of strategizing. Collis felt the surface he was laying on, the warmth of it slightly comforting him. Though the question as to why that was was something he could not affort right now. All he knew is that it felt similiar to the monsters that were attracted to him, though this energy felt more intelligent. But one thing Collis did know now, was that this creature possessed large amounts of energy.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Still behind the Raven beak, Collis had not noticed whatever was going on outside. Instead, the beast's ooze had began to fascinate him, the amount of energy it held suprising the human. Perhaps he could use this energy for himself, however devillish that thought was. Then he could hear the same voice that spoke apologised to him earlier. It told him the name was Piper Ale Whitte, an interesting name to be sure. However, been given a name had not made Collis any more cooperative, just more weary and on the lookout for any potential names attached to it. The trust was not mutual, but the words; "At your service" made him question if giving his name to this creature was such a bad idea. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt giving my name. My name is-"
But before being able to give his name, the sound of many explosive eruptions filled his eardrums, accompanied by the shocks said reaction would give off. Collis felt himself being propelled forward, in a rolling motion than mad ehim tumble through out his confinement. Pain crashed over him again, feeling the stab wound being reopened again and blood slowly flowing down his right side. Then it finally stopped, and Collis fell limp under the weight of his own body. Now he really couldn't move, hardly able to even breathe. The slimy feeling vanished as he now could barely make out the forest he had been traversing.
Now all Collis could do was lay there, feeling everything slowly get blurry under his exhaustion. But he knew that if he were to pass out now, one way or another he wouldn't survive another hour. And even if he could get away from these two creatures, he'd surely die from blood loss. In the instant he'd realised that, Collis mustered up any Magic he could get and grabbed a nearby piece of ooze that was sliding towards the now slowly growing form of whatever the Raven had turned into now. The energy was enough to give him the power to atleast scare these two into submission. Or atleast he hoped so. His arm began turning dark with Magic, and slowly the ooze in his hand began to vaporize in his grasp. Whatever energy it was, it wasn't pleasant sucking it up, as jolts of pain shot through Collis, making him grit his teeth.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Something inside Collis began to rise up again. The fact that this monster, or Piper as he said his name was, demanded him to stay put was the one thing he didn't want to hear. His energy was restored enough for him to get up, still be difficult with the wound being reopened. Painfully Collis stood up and walked forward to the two creatures. This time nothing was gonna stand in his way, he would persevere and this time, He would be making the demands. A strange aura had began to show around him, slowly becoming more and more apparent. His eyes became sharp, his face contorting into a serious expression. Right now, he didn't care about the wound, his exhaustion or the two things standing in front of him. All he cared about was that these two stood in the way of his 'ambition'.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis stood still between the Dragon and Piper, motionless as if he managed to stand up while being unconscious. His face downwards, not showing any emotions. Then he tilted his head and his eyes shot open, the aura increasing in size. "Drop your stance!" he exclaimed at both creatures. "I don't want to hurt any of you and have no reason to hurt you! Dragon, return from where you came!" Collis' eyes locked with those of Kisarji, a pressure from him flowing onto her. "And Piper, if you said you were at my service then never make another demand to me! " he exclaimed, turning his upper body and head to face the Monster behind him. The same pressure, perhaps a little stronger went over to Piper.
With his 'Intimidation' used up with the last of his remaining Magic, the aura around Collis vanished rapidly. For a moment all the human could do was stand there, before the world dazed around his eyes and he collapsed unto the ground.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]It hurts, it hurts so much, was all Collis could think as he lay on the forest ground. His body shook under the splitting pain he felt through out, his breathing being the most desperate it had ever been. In fact, this whole feeling made him feel like he was about to perish. Nothing about the following hour was remotely noticed by him, as Collis tried desperately to fight whatever pain he could. The stab wound was now plain torture on him, his exhaustion poking him with dozens of blunt needles. Everything was blurry, not moving by time or movement. It looked more like still pictures most of the time, making the hour seem like five times as long. When they finally landed, Collis felt a pang of fresh oxygen in his lungs, making him cough roughly. The words spoken by Piper barely reached , but he managed to make a painful look at 'him'. With this, Collis closed his eyes, feeling himself drift into a sleep.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis lay motionless on the bed, aside from his chest raising ever so slowly. For the briefest of time he layed down this way. However, after a while his face began o show discomfort, the boy's body beginning to shake a little. Inside his mind he had begun to dream, a faint humanoid standing in front of him in a faintly lit room. He couldn't make out what he was looking at, but the pressure this being pushed upon him was forceful, nearly making Collis fall to his knees. Collis tried to rise, but the humanoid looked at him in displeasure."Why bother getting up? Do you honestly believe you can get rid of me?" 'It' sad to him mockingly.
Even though he tried to speak up, Collis could not utter a single syllable out of his mouth. Something made his lips clam shut, keeping him from verbally retaliating against the humanoid. "Heh. Trying so hard to change 'the gift' you have. You should be proud of such potent Magic inside you." He looked at the creature in disgust, showing his disagreement with this notion. The humanoid smirked at him with sharp teeth. "No matter. As long as you sleep," 'It' whispered. "You Are Mine!" With this exclamation, the creature flew into him with a painful force. At that moment, Collis began to yell in his dream, his body in the bed following suit.

If I lose control I feed the beast within[/shadow][/size][/fancypost]Collis continued his screaming, not feeling anything other than a ripping pain through out his body. He trashed around in any position he could muster, trying to get rid of this excruciating pain. His muscles began to bulk up, his back showing lumps as if something was starting to grow out of it. The same happened to his forehead. in fact, the entirety of Collis' face began to reshape into something demonic. Skin turned blacker by the second, nearly turning completely dark. Yet underneath under all the mutations Collis' could have sworn he heard to he should wake up. "Waking up? What a foolish idea, You haven't even grown your wings yet," the demonic humanoid spoke in his head. "After all, a baby bird cannot leave its nest until it knows how to fly properly."
The transformation continued at a high pace, the wings shooting out of Collis' back. A yell accomponied the ripping of muscle and skin, before being abruptly stopped. The boy had stopped screaming, now keeping his mouth shut, his fists painfully clenched. Feverishly he began to fight against the transformation, trying to wake up like the voice had told him. "Ooh? You are beginning to resist me now? How very amusing, you must have trained to control your Magic Flow." Collis did not respond to the malicious creature, instead opening his eyes slowly to see who had spoken to him. He made eye contact with a humanoid he hadn't seen before. But the voice was recognisable enough for him to know it was from Piper. "R-run..," he muttered under the pain. "Before I kill you-" After saying that the transformation reached it true changing state, Collis' muscles bulking up to impossible size, his wings growing more demonic and a tail grew a good few feet.
