Asterkit giggled, a muted mrrow sound, then quickly silenced herself. A real warrior wouldn't laugh. Then, unable to resist, the kit peeked out from behind the rock, caught a glimpse of a silver pelt, and ducked back into her spot. Don't see me, don't see me! she prayed, knowing it was probably futile.

    Name: Ace
    Gender: female
Age: about 1 month old (32 days) [Fledgling]
    Species: Tawny Owl
    Mate: nope
    Owlets: none
    Rank: Owlet
Chaw: Not sure. One where her strong flying skills will be put to use.
Personality: Confident, yet Hyperactive to the extreme. Ace has terrible trouble sitting still, even when engaged in something interesting. Both her mind and her wings move a-mile-a-minute, and Ace cannot wait to start flying. She is just starting to fledge her flight feathers.
Good at: Flying. Flying is the one thing she's good at, or at least looks to be. Ace has never actually flow, only branched. But, even branching helps the owlet focus.
Bad at: Standing still, studying. Reading had always ended badly, too. Ace hates to be confined, and prefers to always have a view of the sky.
bio: Ace was rescued by the guardians from a forest fire in Ambala. She was only a week or so old, and barely remembers anything about her family. Ace's earliest memories are of smoke and ash, and of dancing flames. Sometimes these flames are the source of her nightmares.
other: Ace was nameless when she arrived at the tree. When a couple of young guardians saw her eagerness to fly, they started calling her Ace as a joke. The name caught on, and became official.
Also, the RP looks kinda well-into. How do you want me to join? ^-^

Letting out an indignant squeak, Asterkit tried to wiggle out of the warrior's strong jaws. "Hey! Lemme go! I can walk!" The rain was pouring down hard, beating into the earth like drums [lol Doctor Who reference], and the kit's fur was soaked, but she didn't want to go inside the den. Asterkit was having too much fun outside, with Silverpeck.

With a sigh, Quill came to the conclusion that Rebecca, and her fearow, had left. "Alright, then..." He muttered to himself, gazing around the hole. "I have some plants, stinging vines, a growlithe, and an Umbreon. How do I get out?" Then, seeing how ridiculous his situation was, Quill chuckled. "Not something I ever thought I'd say." Lightning barked in agreement, and gently licked Quill's hands. Immediately, the stinging sensation halted where the growlithe's tongue had rolled. Excited, the trainer looked to his Pokemon. "Quick, Do it again!" Lightning, now also excited, vigorously licked Quill's hands, until the pain was completely gone. With his first real smile in ages, Quill embraced Lightning, who bathed his trainer's face in slobber. "Ack, I get it...." Pushing himself away, Quill once again pondered his predicament. Guess i could try calling for help..... With a deep breath, the trainer let out a powerful holler. "HEY! CAN ANYONE HEAR ME? I'M STUCK!" Then waited for a response, though not very hopeful.

Enthusiasm returned, the soaked kit beamed at Silverpeck. "Lets go!" She hollard, before running off in a random direction. Asterkit only made it a few feet before realizing that she didn't know where said caves were. Sheepishly, she turned back to the she-cat. "Where are the caves?"

Mudd didn't give much of a glance to where Cyril and Cody were trading words. That was their problem. And besides, there were hot dogs in the pool! Enthusiastically, the sled dog paddled over to where the meat floated, and attempted to chomp down on one. However, instead of a delicious morsel of food, Mudd only got tainted water. His target had moved away, buffeted by the waves coming off Mudd's paddling body. Frowning, the dog once again swam over and tried to eat the hot dog, only to have it float away. I'll get it this time... Mudd launched himself at the food, and again splashed down with nothing but water. Frustrated, the swing dog huffed, and studied the situation. Could he get the hot dog, without the added water?

Awed at finally being out of camp, Asterkit kept stopping, examining every leaf and hole, before running to catch up with Silverpeck and repeating the whole process. Outside of camp was amazing! New sights, sounds, smells. Multiple times the kit would just stop and take it all in. The sounds of rain pounding on rocks and plants. The smell of a thousand scents, each as different as the last. The feel of pebbles under paw. by the time the warrior and kit reached the Jemclan border, she was exhausted. "W-where's the cave?" Asterkit was starting to shiver from the freezing rain.

Starting when he heard a voice, Quill fell off the small log he was sitting on. Slightly embarrased, he quickly stood up, and gazed at the new face. Another trainer, that was obvious, whose face was obscured by a grey hoodie. "I'm fine- For the most part." Quill shouted up, wincing as her remembered the burn on his arm. Right on cue, it sent a screeching pain up his elbow, like the burn had been waiting for it's big entrance. Lightning, as always, barked frenzied at the new trainer. "Shush, Lightning." Quill muttered, then called up, "Is there a branch or sometime up there I can grab onto?"

Suddenly serious, Quill nodded. "I'm gonna send up Lightning first! He doesn't like his Pokeball." Nimbly catching the end of the rope, Quill bent down to Lightning. "I just gonna tie this around you, don't be afraid." He continued talking in a low, reassuring voice as he looped the rope repeatedly around the growlithe's muscular shoulders and belly. "Alright....There." Quill tied off the end of the rope to itself, and gave a tug. "Pull him up!"
