The emotions of the other cats were starting to blend, making it difficult for Li Mei to understand which were her own. But as usual she kept her own expression blank even as she tried to sort out the different emotions within her. "I was told to hunt here." The white cat twitched an ear. "Your territory is big. You can catch enough." There was no sympathy or guilt, just her usual monotone mew. It wasn't that she didn't care for the Clan- actually, she didn't know how she felt. That was the curse of her power- she had no control over it, and so could never distinguish her own emotions from those she picked up off everyone else.
The tom's words made her turn her head, and she simply shook her head at him. He could figure it out himself. She didn't have time for him.

I would like Li Mei for a Clanwide plot, if possible.
She would be investigating on the mass horde of murders in the Edo Period back at Japan and would go into it by going to ThunderClan; to which she believes holds the murderer. She will then ask as many of the members as she pleases by interrogating them. In a way this allows her to get information about who is in the Clan itself.
Basically Kenshin will try to avoid her as much as she could since he is expecting her to be a spy back at Japan who is trying to capture him again. In the end, he explains what happens and then they become friends~!
It's one of my ways to get your character into development with the Clan. And I would like him to get well known in pretty strange ways.

Just say that she is investigating members of ThunderClan since she suspects the murderer being there. Don't specifically say that it was in the Edo Period. Like, someone tried to find you and would of given you a heck of a reward if you bring the right killer to 'them'. But then Kenshin comes in, explains that the group is someone that wants him dead, and they become friends ^.^

Li Mei looked at the tom again. "No." Again she spoke with a monotone voice. She hardly knew the cat. She wasn't going to let him go and follow her, and risk him finding out things that hardly anyone knew about her and her friends.
The other cat's words coaxed a true emotion from the cat from the first time, a smile that suggested she knew something the others didn't. "I can be big too," she mewed simply, apparently not paying attention to the other words spoken.

The she-cat's eyes darkened as she felt Deca's thoughts creep into her mind, and she attempted to do as she did for Naoki- carefully filtering out the bad memories, whilst amplifying any more positive memories that Deca might have in her mind. It was harder, considering Deca didn't have the same way of remembering that Naoki had, and when she had finished her attempt, Aki staggered with exhaustion. Naoki darted to her side to support her, before gently easing her down so that she was laid comfortably on the ground. Resting his own tail on her, he nuzzled her. "You've done enough, Aki. You need sleep too- rest, now," he murmured softly. As he gazed at the white streaks, he sighed. They seemed slightly longer now- not much, and certainly not enough that any other cat would notice, but with his memory he noticed every subtle difference, no matter how small.

The moment the possibility of someone attempting to chase her off was mentioned, Li Mei's expression gave away her true emotions- a combination of worry and fear. "I would not try to chase me off." It wasn't a threat. It was a warning. Li Mei didn't know what happened when she felt stressed and threatened- it was like a blank in her memory. But whenever she regained consciousness, it was always bad. Someone was usually badly injured, or even dead. And she didn't want to be responsible for more injuries.

Li Mei was back again, but this time, she was following the rules. She sat quietly beside the border, her tail tip twitching as she waited patiently for ThunderClanners to arrive.
Why was she sitting at the border, instead of trespassing as she had before? Because she was here for business now, not for food. She was here to investigate murders. She had been briefed before her arrival, and now she had reason to believe the killer was here, in ThunderClan.
It felt strange to be investigating a murder case- usually, that was Kangai's jurisdiction, given his ability to sense the dead. But Kangai was on another mission, in BlizzardClan, and Aki and Naoki were too busy to handle it. It was down to her.
Perhaps that was a good thing, though. Her ability to sense emotions meant she would know if anyone was lying to her, or if they had bad intentions. Plus, she was the youngest. While some ThunderClanners knew her as a prey-stealer, and had guessed her ability of shape-shifting, hopefully they wouldn't be too aggressive just because of that. It had just been one mouse, after all. And she was following the rules now.

Normally, they didn't share a nest, but Naoki felt he needed the comfort of his older twin on this night. "Thanks." "Aki's the only blood relative I have now. I have two friends, Kangai and Li Mei, who are like family, but... well, they haven't shared the experiences me and Aki have had. Our mother died giving birth to us, you see, and our father... well, he blamed us. Blamed me. And he began to start drinking human alcohol. All that anger had to go somewhere..." He licked his chest, wincing and pausing in his story.

A sad smile appeared on Naoki's face. Now for the hard part, that truly needed explaining. "No. You can't bring up any memories. They're always in my mind." He looked at his paws. "The simplest way to explain it is that I have a perfect memory. Take today, when I was fishing. In a year's time, I'll still remember exactly what happened. The feel of the water when I went to catch the fish. The frustration when I missed. How the breeze was on my fur. The scents, the sounds, the sights- every detail. I'll relive it all, every day. And I'll never be able to stop. It's like that for all my memories. Aki tries to help by filtering my thoughts, but sometimes events will happen that just bring something back." The smile vanished, replaced with just simple sadness. "It's not your fault, though. It would've happened sooner or later, anyway. It always does." He scraped a paw along the ground. "When Aki discovered her kansei- that's what we call a power relating to the mind- she used it to redirect our father's anger- to filter out the thoughts that made him want to hurt me." He waited for the question, the same question Kangai had asked, the question everyone seemed to ask- where had the anger gone too?

Hm, two cats who hadn't been around before when she had been caught prey-stealing. The loner flicked her tail, managing a smile despite the emotions that were confusing her. She could feel nervousness, uncertainty and confusion, but who felt what was beyond her knowledge. It was always like that for her. She couldn't even sense her own emotions when around others.
"My name is Li Mei." Well, that was an improvement from before. Before, she hadn't even spoken in full sentences. "I am here on business. I work for an investigative agency, and have recently been employed to investigate a string of murders in a place far from here." Her ears twitched. That would be enough information for now, until a few more cats came for her to question anyway.

Naoki nodded, the sadness never leaving his gaze. "Aki took the beatings so that I wouldn't have the memories of them. Whenever our father was around, she would make me hide somewhere. She thinks I don't realise how bad it was for her, but I do. It was as bad for her as it was for me. Eventually, I told a passing family what was happening to try and help her, because I didn't want to see her hurt anymore." He glared at his paws. "It was a mistake. They only wanted to care for me me. They were going to let another family take Aki. So we ran away, and have taken care of ourselves ever since." He sighed. "Aki doesn't know I told that family. She thinks they found out on their own. I don't want her to know I told them."
The darkening skies were starting to make Naoki uneasy, but he remained sat at the entrance. He didn't want to fall asleep until he knew Aki was okay. Just in case.

But she responded anyway, her expression as neutral as ever and giving nothing of her confusion and inner turmoil away as she spoke. "My employer tells me that ThunderClan might have some information on these murders," she explained. "I was wondering if perhaps you know if any of your members may have been behaving... differently, recently?"
