Name
Soulseeker
Age
20 Moons
Rank
Deputy?
Gender
She-cat
Appearance: (Picture, but it can be words.)
A black pelt is stretched across a slender bod, slightly larger paws conceal long; knife-sharp claws. Though naturally smaller in size because of Gender and the genes flowing through her veins, Soulseeker is a eerie she-cat. With sharper ears, though her right one has been torn at it's rim, leaving a large quarter of it missing. Her claws have been rendered unsheathe-able, so she has become a constant weapon, and has a dark attitude. Despite her small body, she carries a very long tail, and is able to control it down to it's tip very well. She is virtually black, but has a bit of white on chest that is barely visual. Her eyes are a green-amber colour, but in their rounded depths rests flecks of gold. She has no seeable wound than her ear, but beneath the skin she has metal legs, not only boosting speed and jump height, but they are very hard to break, and the skin covering them would rip off ( because it is artificial ) and the she-cat would not feel a thing.

Calling:
Soulseeker
Age:
24 moons
Gender:
Tom
Desired Rank:
Assassin
Personality/Traits:
I'm not good with one word personalities, I'm so sorry xDHe is a dark, mute tom. He could care less what happens to those he is sent to spy on or steal life from, but he's still a cat, and may feel a twinge of regret later on. He's very rough-hearted, and refuses to speak to most, only a select few know his voice, and this is mainly the leader. Though appearing rather cold, he still has feelings, but will normally keep them subsided, knowing for him to be what he was, feelings are not something he can convey. He's rather trustworthy but has loyalty issues when it comes to the Clan, he tends not to listen very well, and doesn't heed warnings normally given to him, despite these flaws he's a very wise tom, he understands much of which many may not, and often when he speaks decides to speak in a poetic way, or in riddles. Being an Assassin is who he is, it is what makes him, and to be pulled from this job would probably crumble the tom.
History:
He grew up among the Clan, but grew up with abusive parents. Any feeling showed caused him to be punished by mother and father. He learned quickly to lock these feelings away, and being young had no choice but to bow down to a raised paw. Later, when his parents were discovered abusing them were they forced to leave. He has grown up in the fear showing emotions will bring him pain, and has kept this even throughout adult-hood, but since his parents were exiled, he seems to have eased into a calmer life.
Weaknesses:
He is horrible at dealing with emotions, his own or others, and cannot handle them.
Asking the tom about his past or even mentioning it drives him into a angry frenzy, often leaving a few tufts of fur to the one who asked.
He occasionally becomes disconnected from the world, staring at this sky, and during this it is hard to bring him back down to earth.
He is a poor swimmer, and prefers to stick to tree tops.
His has low-tolerance for bothers, and is rather impatient.--
Strengths:
He is well with stealth, and efficient in ending lives, as well as spying.
He understands his role and is able
He will complete any command without fail, though if there is the chance he does, he expects to be punished.
He is virtually bomb-proof, nothing really able to scare him.
He is strong and swift, able to take many hits before he falls. -
Thank you ~
And of course! I don't mind at all c: -

The painted mustang trotted along the rolling hills of the Common Area. Her head held tucked towards her neck in a unsure fashion she picked up speed as she headed towards the lake, the scent of water driving her onward. It was strange that a grown mare was without a herd, but she was rather boyish, as much as a mare could be. She acted more like a stallion than a mare, but did have her shy moments. Lowering her head to the lake softly, she drank its cool liquid, allowing her mane's tips to lay atop the water as she drank smoothly.
Seeming to have earned a calm personality, she appeared more approachable to any or all around her, and letting out a soft snort she turned her sights to the grass surrounding the lake and lazily began to eat at the stalks of grass. Although, she eventually decided to lay in the grass, enjoying it's coolness and wondering what the morning would bring as she lay in silence for the time being. -
Lifting herself to her full height, or rather, lifting herself from the ground, Yui tilted her head with increasing curiousity. She heard the sounds of two others nearby, and lifting her head, she spotted the two. She may have been curious, but not nearly enough to approach the two of them.
Ears rotating backwards, the mare turned with a gentle snort and a swift shake of her head, and lowering her head once more moved forwards, heading back towards the common area with no real aim in mind. Perhaps meeting others would be good for the mare, but she often preferred to be alone, less danger in angering another this way, yet she felt loneliness tug at her soul, though to avoid others, she pushed this feeling and thought away, looking to the horizon as if it was all knowing. -

-- intro [ though not required to, please read ]
As midnight took hold of the world, soft flickering lights began to illuminate the darkness, filling the air with a pale white-yellow colour that brought life to the objects surrounding you. Each of these lights were hidden behind a transparent jar, their soft flames licking the rims of their homes but exceeding no further. Each of these flames had a different home, very few sharing the same type of shape. These lanterns hung from branches that stretched above you, most half way across the path you tread upon, as if they were in the attempt to grab hold of one another.
The night air was warm, though a gentle wind that blew your fur in the wrong direction ran a chill up your spine. Instinctively you turned, and were face to face with a shadow, a small lantern they held in their jaws lit up some of their face and chest, and as you watched in awe more began to light, more faces becoming evident.
"Hello, traveler. What brings you to our road?"
You hastily attempt to bring an excuse to mind, but you realize this cat in front of you means no harm to you, and you lower your head. As if this was a cue for the other feline, carrying the most intricate of the lanterns, she passed by you, leading her group round, and continuing along. Your eyes dreamily follow the softly flickering lights, and before it even comes to mind to follow; your paws are in motion.-- the camp [ intro cont'd ]
As you continued you follow, you came towards a open area, surrounded by large blossom trees whose pink white petals were tinted orange yellow from the lanterns that hung from them as well. One tree had a flat rock next to it's opening, where the she-cat leading the group placed her lantern before turning to face you. The others splitting off and going to their own blossom trees, and hanging them on branches or placing them softly on the grass covered earth, flowers making your nose tingle and twitch.
Lowering herself to the ground, the seeming leader of this group gave a soft hum to call a meeting, in which the others responded in their own tunes that made them recognizable within the darkness. Tilting her head she looked directly at you, and lit up by the blossom tree she lay in front, she was rather large in size.
"Welcome to our home, traveler. What is your name?"-- the territory
The home in which these cats live in is very unusual. Despite having no human contact these cats have been blessed with knowledge. Though their camp is mainly made of cherry blossom trees, the surrounding areas are filled with many different types. Along the right side, opposite the cobblestone road, is a forest made of bamboo, where they normally teach stealth to the young ones. In front of their camp is weeping willows and many larger trees. Behind them is an open area, where the group mainly hunts. This area is filled with waterfalls and long grass, and is easy to become lost in the scenery.
-- beliefs
These cats believe in Yin and Yang; the goddess of day and the god of night. This is mandatory belief in balance and purity, though other beliefs are allowed. Most of these cats share a tight connection to Yin and Yang, and those born at certain times of the day are born under the domain of one of these two.
[ Yin's Domain is from Dawn to the afternoon, Yang's Domain is from the afternoon to Dusk. Any born at night are considered Shadowchildren, and are normally feared among the Clan because their god | goddess is unknown. ]-- the ranks | their meanings
Leader - The cat, tom or she-cat that controls the group, what they do, how they do it, ranks, etc...
Successor - Second in line for the Leader, the equivalent to a Deputy...
Shaman - They are not healers, their own purpose is receiving and achieving the goal and visions of Yin and Yang. They often decide the fate of others, and are more highly respected than the Successor, despite being lower on the ranking list...
Healer - Just as the name states. They heal the ill and injured. They do not earn visions from Yin and Yang...
Healer's Assistant - The equivalent to a Medicine Cat apprentice. They help the Healer but do most of the minor jobs...
Champions - The warriors of the group. They hunt and defend the group, go on patrols, remark territories, etc...
Amateurs - The equivalent to apprentices. They are in training to become Champions...
Queens - No different from the Clan Queens. They take care of and mother the kits of the group.
Kits - Those too young to be Amateurs, and are still under the care of their mothers.
Veterans - Those too old to further complete tasks within the group and have retired. They are not required to do anything but live out the rest of their days in peace.
Outsiders - Those who dare to attack the Clan on their own are often held prisoner, but still treated fairly as they are still cats just like them. They are forced to do things to aid the Clan, most of these tasks that others wish not to complete, and are eventually set free.-- the rules
Do I really need to say them? You should all know what they are, so follow them. Most of them tend to be common sense~ Only real rule I have is every post must have 3+ sentences. Other than that, please be active! I want people following the rules, to if you have decided to read this ( Thank you~ ) and please put; ℛᴇᴠᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴs in the other on your form. Courageous and selfless, she is seemingly afraid of nothing, and would do all she could before even thinking of helping herself. She's often quiet despite this, and will often observe things rather than stop them. She strongly believes in the saying that all things happen for a reason. She is strong physically, yet rather weak emotionally. She doesn't know how to feel sometimes, and this makes her rather hard to read, but she often conceals her emotions should she feel it is for the greater good of her family. She's undoubtedly loyal, and would never do anything to hurt her friends or family. She'd sooner sacrifice herself than allow another to die. She's very wise for her younger age, and since becoming the leader of the group has began to act more like an adult, guiding her family with gentle paws every day that dawns upon them.

Yui's head shot up with a startle hearing the loud whinny, turning her head she spotted the mare making all the noise, and a stallion headed in that direction. She watched with interest as he headed there, but did not make a move towards him. She turned her head and walked forward, climbing up the side of one of the smaller hills and standing atop of it, grazing slowly and quietly. Her tail giving a soft swish every now and then to flick off gathering flies. She unlike others was not bothered as much by the heat, though her coat was growing glossy with a thin layer of sweat.

I'm going to continuously put Yui's picture at the beginning of my posts, I hope none of you mind c: -

Yui turned around slowly, facing the numerous horses that seemingly continued to gather here. Lowering her body to the ground, she gave a few rolls, enjoying the relief the smooth dirt brought before she got back on her feet and shook out her body, sending a cloud of dirt to the poor souls that happened to be facing the wind's direction.
Giving a quiet nicker she began back down the hill, towards a tree that seemed to offer substantial shade and stood beneath it's green canopy. Despite it being mostly shaded, light that pierced through the softly swaying branches stretched specks of sunlight on her body, a few shining into her chocolate amber eye, while her right eye became a darker blue. The odd-eye mare watched the others with forward ears, wondering if any were conversing, or like her; watching. -

Yui watched curiously as the stallion headed in the direction of the trees, slowly she followed, but stopped a small ways away, giving a quiet neigh in the sense of a greeting. She'd grown tired of being lonely, and none of the other horses were close enough to hear her quiet noises due to shyness around new equines. She wondered if he'd even respond, seeing him lay down, but she figured everyone was growing sweaty in the heat of the day, and lowered herself to the ground as well, hoping for the dirt to cool her body.
-

Hesitantly she headed closer to the stallion, her head level with her shoulders and her ears back slightly. She tilted her head when she got closer to him, and laid down near him, not too close but close enough. She did not say much to him, but her ears twitched softly as flies landed on them. Her gaze avoided his in the slightest, an embarrassed feeling shining in her oddly-coloured eyes, blinking when she moved her head towards the new mare appearing as sunlight hit her eyes directly, blinding her for a moment.

Yui's ears went back slightly when the other mare approached, she wasn't jealous. Perhaps the other mare wanted a quiet talk and spend time alone with the stallion, just like she had herself? Pushing her questions aside, she rose to her feet, and in a quiet manner shifted to the right, heading towards the lake and leaving the two to each other. Maybe she should clean the red that tinted her coat, from her long run to this area from where she originated from. Lowering her head to the water she checked how deep it was before walking into it slowly, going to the deepest point where she had to swim.

Yui couldn't help but be shocked as a tidal wave of water collided into her, soaking her down to the bone and making her freeze for a moment before hurrying out of the water and onto the shore, giving her bod a strong shake in the attempt to drive the water that had soaked its way into her in a few seconds. Rather upset she nipped Diablo's neck in the sense of a protest, giving a high pitched screech to portray her uncomfortable-ness before she trotted away from him, trying to run to dry herself off, the amount of water still on her only making her hotter as it heated up. -

Yui watched the other horses play in the water. She had abandoned it when she had gotten soaked down to the bone. With a rough whinny she attempted to give her body yet another shake to free her coat of water, but with no luck. Her tail slapped against her side each time she attempted to swat away a fly, and grew irritated at the small stinging strands that hit whenever she tried, trotting around in the area as a desperate attempt to have the flies leave her alone.

Sorry cx I'm always checking threads for new posts so it's normally constant posting haha-- ic
Yui snorted irritably yet again, but she stopped in her trotting when a greeting was tossed her way, her ears rotating forwards she looked at the voice from which it came and responded with a soft nicker, but lowered her head at the stallion, her ears rotating back only slightly to rest in a neutral position. She gave her body another harsh shake, and seemed relieved as some flecks of water flew from her bod. In a sense of comfort she lowered herself to the ground, and rolled once or twice out of instinct before rising back to her hooves.
She watched the stallion advance in her direction, and tilted her head as if curious, her blue and chocolate amber eyes watching his every movement, but she didn't appear afraid of him and seemed rather open to conversation. -

I suppose through italics would be easier to understand conversations cx-- ic
Yui's head lowered to watch him paw the ground, but her eyes appeared confused, and she bobbed her head in a unsure way, almost as if she were saying; What are you doing? She was rather new to this herself, and really felt it was no different than any other talk with another mare, but she advanced towards him, worriedly wondering if he were hurt, but also interested in seeing him up close due to the colours he wore. Stopping a meter or two away, she stood with a raised head and stiff legs, ready to run should it come to it, though she felt this stallion wasn't a threat to her. She may be young and niave, but instinct led her silently.

Yui seemed startled, her ears pinning back against her head and turning in a sudden twist cantered away from the two stallions with a few bucks in between her strides, coming to an almost too sudden halt as she spun to face them again at a tree. Her eyes wide and nostrils flaring, her legs even more stiff than before as she watched the two stallion with highly wary eyes.
-

Yui's pounding heart eased against her ribcage, and her head lowered one more, her nostrils continuing to flare as scents drifted in, she was clearly now watching Diablo, her ears swiveling forward as he moved, her legs though still stiffly straight had grown less tense. Giving her head a low shake she slowly approached the two again, each lift of her leg hesitant.
