When Dovefeather saw Darkcloud putting the fresh kill in the pile she suddenly realised what was distracting her so much. Why? she thought, Why that? It had just made her once simple life so complicated.

When Silver heard Snowstar call out her impulsive reaction was to run at her and kill her. But she stopped herself - just. She needed to be more prepared before attacking a weather cat. She needed more of a plan. She still didn't know where they lived. She had to find it. Then she'd have to upper hand.

Silver saw Snowstar walk away, and crept out from under the bush. She carefully crept away. Because she had all her senses concentrated behind her, she didn't notice a fluffy white tom in a bush nearby.

Silver suddenly noticed Dragonclaw and stopped suddenly. Completely forgetting Snowstar and the others, she arched her back and hissed at him.

Rainkit was bored because he was going to be last and he had to wait a while. -
Rainbowstar saw Sunblaze and Moonshine glaring at each other and sighed. It was so strange how different the brothers were. He padded over to them.
"Hey, I'd like you guys to go hunting because we need more fresh kill," he said. -
Earthkit shoved Nightkit off him.
