    Evan frowned when the woman told him he wasn't in trouble. What? Then what the hell was he doing here? He'd only ever known to be called down when he was getting punished for something, so he wondered if maybe this did have something to do with Quidditch. Well, if that were the case, this old lady wouldn't be the one to talk to him. Guess he'd have to wait and find out what was going on.




    Just as he was sitting down, he saw Mcgonagall talk to another student, and he turned to see an attractive redhead had walked in. They looked rather shy, or tense..? He couldn't tell, but apparently they had something to do with him.




    When the headmistress called attention to Evan, he turned to look at her and his eyebrows furrowed together again in confusion.




    "[b]A veela..?" He thought for a moment and then snapped his hand, eyes lighting up in remembrance. He wasn't a full blood, so he didn't really know all of the wizard terms, but this one he was familiar with. His mom and dad were divorced, and he had lived with his mom in the muggle world all his life. He hadn't ever met his father, but he left behind a bunch of wizard books and ever since Evan found out he held magical abilities, he read a couple of them.




    "Yes. They're kind of like sirens. Super hot and magical, right?" he asked. "Well, not all magical..they're part human. But are those the ones that turn into the birds when they are mad? If so, I think I know what we're talking about."




    He looked from Mcgonagall to the redhead beside him, then back to the professor. "What's that got to do with me though?" he asked, and then pointed to Scarlet. "And Xenakis?" He had picked up on the last name when Mcgonagall said it, but he did have a bit of difficulty pronouncing it.

    APPEARANCE noel is 5' 11 inches tall, blonde eyes, and brown hair. he has pale skin and on occasion will grow out a bit of scruff on his chin/face. he is rather muscular from all the heists he helps with and in decent shape thanks to a healthy diet. he also has a quirky, friendly, and sometimes flirty smile, complimented with dimples and white, straightened teeth. this smile can either be sarcastic or seductive, so you better watch to figure out which it is.
    - clothing style: noel has a penchant for style. he is often seen wearing suits or at least semi-professional clothes. he always has a hat (fedoras) handy, as it may as well be his signature accessory (he also loves to show off his hat tricks) and has expensive pick in clothes. he gets his ties from local vintage stores and mixes and randomizes his shirts with pants so that he doesn't wear the same thing more than once too many times.

    PERSONALITY noel is a charming, sophisticated gentleman with a wide range of knowledge, from art (all sorts of things like sculpting, drawing, painting, etc) to foreign languages, most of which are self-taught. he is good at dedicating his time and putting effort towards things he wants to do or learn in his free time. he is certainly a romantic and always has a way to try to hit on a potential love interest. noel is also highly secretive and doesn't trust anyone completely. this of course causes a few problems between himself, friends, and lovers, but he normally has a good reason to not trust them. noel rarely makes himself vulnerable, hiding behind a facade of indifference or cheerfulness when he is upset, having even done this when his mother died. he doesn't enjoy talking about his past either, preferring the mystery that adds to his charm and attractiveness. noel is a people person. this confidence makes it easy for him to con/lie to people (particularly women), and he frequently draws attention to himself wherever he goes. noel is the kind of guy who could walk into a room and have heads turn. he is elegant, and he’s sophisticated, and he’s smart and he loves the attention. more to be revealed in the roleplay

    HISTORY noel was born in a small town inside of the state ohio. he had two very loving parents, one being a spy and the other being one as well, but more as an office worker than being in field because someone had to take care of noel. around age three, noel's father was put in jail for killing someone he and his mother worked with. this obviously made a lot of people angry, and he and his mother were forced to move and change their names. when noel was older and asked about why he didn't have a dad like all his friends, his mom lied and said his father died a hero, saving lives. noel wanted to be just like his dad. however, the past caught up to the present and one night when he was at a friend's, he came home to find his mom was murdered. he had to move yet again (they moved a lot throughout his life, it wasn't just the one time when he was three), and he wasn't happy about it. slowly, the truths he wasn't ready for and were never warned about was coming out. and then, when he was seventeen, he found out his dad was corrupt. this made him beyond angry, because he had built his life around wanting to be just like his father, and the guy he thought so highly of all his life was the reason things were so messed up and people were dying was actually a horrible person. he ran away and never looked back. he made it all the way to new york, and started a new life there. he made up a bunch of aliases to get illegal jobs done for money and he pretty much did any job he could without killing someone. as of right now, he hasn't been caught, but the government does have his name and are tracking for him. they have him for art theft, con artist, art forgery, forgery in general, tresspassing, a lot of things. noel is so good, that the government looking for him has given him the nickname 'james bonds'. you know, since no one can ever figure out which is the real thing and which is the forgery with noel? no luck for them as of right now for catching noel. additionally, noel made some friends and now works with them to get the big scores for everyone. more to be revealed in the roleplay

" Evan asked in disbelief, looking from the older woman to Scarlet. "I know you guys dumbed it down for me, but what the heck do you guys mean by 'Scarlet will die if I reject'? And what all is there to this bond? What'll happen if I say yes? And if I say no?"




    His heart was suddenly beating a mile a minute. This was a lot to process, especially for someone who hadn't ever actually dealt with his own problems before. Now he had a very adult one he needed to deal with. His specialty was bouncing around this kind of thing, and now someone would die if he wasn't careful.




    Oh my god. I don't know this person on a deep level, but I don't want them to die either. I'd say just do whatever the marriage thing for veelas is and go back to my normal life, but they get pretty scary when angered. It's like my ex on laughing gas and steroids.




    "Wait, how do we even know I'm the one you share the bond with? Is there like Spidey senses for that kind of thing?" he asked, turning to Scarlet, forgetting that no one in the room would get a muggle reference like that. Maybe, just maybe, he'd get lucky and her senses tingled wrong, and it wasn't actually him. Evan didn't want to come to a decision that would either make them both unhappy or kill Scarlet.

However, he also made a mental note to shower three times a day instead of two. He didn't want to smell bad if someone could smell him on a daily basis - someone with heightened senses.




    Evan swallowed when it was explained that Scarlet would basically die if he said no. Well, it was mentioned once already, but now it was actually sinking in. All this talk of the person dying was making him a little sad and depressed.




    "[b]How does 'the bond' work?" Evan asked. "Is it like how werewolves work, where they imprint or is it something else that happens? It sounds like it's a process of some sort. How does it work? You guys are making it sound kind of weird, with the special benefits and saying that Scarlet should describe it."




    He was already a little shaken up and given a lot to think about, but the bond was making him more nervous than anything. Now that some of the facts are in the open, he can tell Mcgonagall was acting weird especially about this. Yes, she acted a little odd about the Scarlet dying part, but if the bond was anything to compare to death itself than you could bet that even the tough Quidditch player was worried as hell about what was coming next.

His legs stretched out in front of him on the floor and he turned to show he was listening.




    He chuckled at the sneaking in part, and with a smile and a wink said, "[b]I'll leave the window open." Otherwise he stayed quiet and listened to the rest of the explanation. That wasn't nearly as scary as he thought it would be, but that one week would be terrifying. It'd be like dating a girl on all her periods at once. He'd have to be extra careful about that should he agree to this.




    "Alright. Uh, should I know anything else before I think about what I want to do?" he asked, looking from Scarlet to Mcgonagall. "This is sort of a lot to know all at once, so I'll probably have questions once I've thought this through."




    Evan felt like there was a cloud in his head, stuffing up his thoughts and blocking any other topic to get in and distract him. His focus was solely on the conversation at hand. The process didn't sound as scary as he thought it would be, and Scarlet seemed to know what Spiderman was, so that was always a bonus in Evan's book. But he didn't know this person on a deep level. He wasn't sure he wanted to spend the rest of his life with them. Not that they seemed like a bad person or anything, but romantically. Evan was naturally a flirt and to be tied down for the rest of his life, especially before school let out, would really be a change he never thought even possible. He wasn't ready for something like marriage. But if he rejected, Scarlet would die of the worst way possible. Heartache. Along with like hunger or something hunger for looooove, but it would still suck for them. And if they died, Evan knew it would haunt him the rest of his life.




    Wow, his head was hurting from thinking so much. That's the most thinking he's done in a week.

    kate is a friendly but shy and quiet girl. she enjoys spending time with people and could even be considered a people person, but only with those she is comfortable with. she will not approach someone first or on her own at all because she gets nervous. kate is also a very polite person, and will go out of her way to make someone's day or help out a teacher or newbie. because she is such a genuinely good person however, people tend to take an advantage of her and she doesn't realize it sometimes. she is also an honest person when given the opportunity. she hates lying to people and will only do so if the circumstances are bad. she likes to have everything out in the open and wouldn't want someone to lie to her. she is extremely loyal to those she cares for and would never betray them. and once she has devoted/dedicated herself to something or someone, she doesn't back out of it. she keeps her promise and is very trustworthy and reliant. she never gives up, and this can make her a bit stubborn. kate is a smart girl and thinks things through before making a decision. she can also be a bit hot-headed, but she really does mean well. she is very strong mentally but weak physically because of her power and having been born a very skinny child. more to be revealed in the roleplay

    kate has the ability to control the amount of sanity/madness someone has, as well as change a bit of their reality (in order to either calm them down or make them go crazy). it's sort of funny that she of all people gets that power, because she hates messing with people + their minds, so she hasn't learned how powerful she is yet and hates her abilities (in fact she didn't want to even go to this school because she didn't want to know how to use her powers), but it also works because the enemy would never suspect a pretty and shy girl like her to be capable of such things

He watched and listened to them explain what their intentions were. Nodding, he began walking in that direction, Scarlet's hand still on his robe. Either he forgot or he didn't care.




    "[b]Yeah. No way I'm going back to Herbology." He said the title with distaste, enough to hold the venom that once a student named Malfoy held whenever he said 'Potter'. Evan hated that class so much. It was probably his least favorite thing ever. That even beat when he found spiders in his cereal as a kid.




    Evan wanted to say something, but he wasn't sure what. This was a lot to learn in one sitting, and he was still trying to figure out what the heck was even going on. He basically had it memorized this way:

    Stay single = Scarlet dies in the worst way possible and guilt follows me everywhere




    When put in those terms, of course he would pick to marry Scarlet, but even his dense brain knew he had to think everything over and consider everything. And that meant getting to know Scarlet, which was something he had planned on asking them about. He was thankful they were taking the lead on all of this, even if it was to benefit themselves.




    "So, I'm guessing if you don't want me to ask anything in front of anyone, you haven't told anyone I'm your soul mate?" he asked, mainly to start conversation.

    - maybe the enemy is another gang trying to bring down the top two in the country (obviously the gangs roleplayed in the thread) and trying to steer the government towards catching those two


    - the government (cia or fbi or something) trying to haul them down, and the gangs working together to wit their way out of it


    - or maybe, corrupt cops who don't like having their illegal wins stolen from them but have the authority to take action on it with whatever they want to do being legal

    Personality: (the "official" personality description) riza is a quiet, collected woman, with a serious but courteous demeanor. hawkeye is viewed by her peers as the model of a perfect soldier; strictly disciplined and extremely rational, she rarely relaxes when on the job and is usually tasked with keeping her colleagues on track. though from the outside she might seem strict, rigid, and even a little mean, hawkeye is not as cold and distant as she may appear. those close to her know that there is more to her than her no-nonsense attitude; beneath her professional aura is a kind soul who understands the difficulty of carrying a heavy burden. she is especially kind and softer to those younger than her, like the elric brothers or winry, and often shows her sense of humor. very disciplined, she takes her work seriously and is almost never seen “dropping formalities,” even with those who are most intimate to her. she’s not prone to public displays of affection, preferring to show her feelings through more subtle ways. hawkeye seems the personification of "tough love," demanding excellence from those she respects or considers important. reticent, she doesn't speak unnecessarily or express her feelings often through words, but reveals most of her thoughts through nonverbal communication, with trademark sharp looks and rare, subtle smiles. riza is a mix between a tortured woman looking for redemption she feels is unreachable, and a resigned acceptance of past mistakes and their consequences. hawkeye learns from ishval to accept responsibilities for her actions herself, rather than placing blame or burden on another. she decides she must sacrifice her own happiness and comfort and continue to dirty her hands with blood as a soldier in order to bring peace to the people.     History: riza was raised by her father once her mother died, and lived a pretty sheltered life. when she was young, she was pure and innocent. she met mustang when he became her father's apprentice, and they got along pretty well. she didn't really know her father since they were emotionally distant and he was obsessed with his alchemy work, but they still did live together. however, riza feared her father because of his mania with his work. further straining - or serving as an indication of - their already shaky relationship, her father (afraid of documenting his findings in the usual fashion lest his flame alchemy expertise fall into the wrong hands) instead tattooed a large, coded transmutation array containing his secret discoveries onto her back, effectively making her very flesh the guardian of his life's work. to this day, they are still on her back. her father ended up dying later on. when she didn't have anyone else to turn to (she didn't know anyone really), she had roy mustang help with the funeral. at the burial, roy let her know that she could seek him out within the military if she were ever in need of assistance. in doing so, he inadvertently let slip his endeavor to strengthen the foundation of amestris and protect its citizens as a soldier. though roy displayed embarrassment at his long-winded optimism, riza deemed his dream charming and informed him that her father's alchemical secrets still survived upon her back. hoping that he would take the knowledge and use it in the service of the amestrian people, riza showed him her father's code. after deciphering it, roy left to prepare for the state Aachemy examination and a military career and riza entered the military academy to train to have a job similar to her friend's. eventually, she ended up working alongside him and long story short, now they're married. more to be revealed in the roleplay

    Looks: annie is a rather fit and attractive female. she has dark navy/black straight hair that goes down to nearly her shoulders, and a pale, round face with clear ivory skin and doe like magneta/violet eyes. she has a cute lil nose and full, soft lips. there are no freckles on her face nor scars. she has a rather curvy but fit frame, with naturally defined curves on her hips, dips in the right places on her legs and enough fat on the top and bottom. not overly heavy, but definitely not flat either. this isn't normally noticed due to annie not wearing skin tight clothing all the time. she prefers slightly baggy clothes for comfort. she stands at 5'6 and weighs in at a little less than 115




    Personality: before she went missing, annie was a somewhat loud, friendly, bubbly girl who was never seen without a smile or a laugh. she was always fun to be around and always doing crazy things that usually resulted in getting in trouble or being downright hilarious. she was never the boring one. she was well liked by most people and didn't have any troubles with bullying, although this is mostly because she is quick to react when someone presses her buttons. she was (and still is) very hot headed and most likely to defend herself and her friends faster than edward can break his metal arm. she was very sweet and genuinely a good person, always having the best intentions when it came down to it (even if she did crazy things to make people laugh). she is rather selfless and would go out of her way to help a complete stranger. while she isn't dumb enough to not notice when she is being taken an advantage of, she can be a bit naive, which sometimes gets her hurt in the end. annie has a strong love for younger children and animals, and tends to (always) get distracted when one or both are present. she also likes music, and outside of school and alchemy practice, she was writing songs and singing for extra money to go hang out with her friends. she could have made a career out of it, but sees it more as a hobby and wants to "do something practical" and "something i can change the world with". annie also very much enjoys traveling. she goes wherever she is allowed to and has even picked up on learning two languages outside of her native one, making her a rather valuable asset seeing as she knows and is fluent in all three of these languages (don't be impressed; she has a photographic memory. she even remembers stuff she doesn't want to). while she is pretty smart, she also has the flip side of always being an open book. nearly anyone has the capability to read her mind, because annie is very much against lies so hasn't the slightest clue how to hide her emotions. this sucks a lot for her because everyone always knows what she is thinking and it is very clear to people if she likes them or hates them. this could also be that she is bad at acting because she is always telling people to talk honestly about your feelings and to get them out in the open air instead of holding back, that you'll be more happy if you aren't hiding anything. she will also try to see the good in literally anyone, so she tends to give truly bad people too many second chances. annie also gives into peer pressure if very much pressured and forced into it, even if she is not comfortable with what is happening. annie is also a little too cocky sometimes and a rather confident person. she is obviously happy in her own skin and happy with who she is. more to be revealed in the roleplay




    History: not a lot to share about her, honestly. she had things pretty good before she went missing. her mother was a nurse/doctor and her father in the military, and she went to school with her brother. they were a close knit family, and everyone got along most of the time (ren, annie's brother, and her always played pranks and teased one another as well as had the occasional bickering, but it was out of love). her father taught annie and ren alchemy, and they both became very gifted in their skills (ren having water alchemy, and annie having air alchemy). she had been pronounced missing when she never came back from hanging out with her friends one night. she was supposed to walk home, but she never returned back. her body wasn't found anywhere, nor were there any slight hints where she could have been after the movies, so she was decided to be missing. more to be revealed in the roleplay

    SULTAN , we should! noel is a pretty friendly character, and especially with his team mates. he probably had to put a lot of trust in bruno to give him second in command, so they could probably be really close friends or something?

    sorry for not replying sooner on anything everyone! i was at an amusement park all day yesterday/today and the day before that was packing and getting ready for it. it was out of state so we had a lot of planning to do and stuff. i have read everything i missed on so i'm back to being up to date c:


    @ peach, they probably con a lot of people because they naturally work well together which makes whatever they're lying about more believable. the group probably sends them out to be the distraction on heists that are short notice and too soon to require good planning while everyone else has the fun doing the dirty work + crime he probably loves to pretend they're a couple who argues all the time because he gets to act angry or very flirty with each other because it gives him an excuse to flirt + dip her


    @ coffee, i could see that! maybe they were friends at one point but lost touch because one of them probably noel fled the town without looking back, so he never said he was leaving or anything to peri, which made her mad. and maybe he wanted to make their friendship work again but now it's hard because of their gangs hating each other and she still holds resentment for not getting a goodbye?
