"I saw a few just a touch aways, but I couldn't grab them without being seen. Last I saw they were hanging outside of a stable. If you want, I could fly you over there so that you don't have to walk as far." He offered, picking at the ground lightly with one of his claws. "There weren't any saddles in the town?" He asked.

He chuckled lightly before sprinting after her, lithely jumping over a fallen log and using it as a jumping point to dash forwards with a burst of speed. He began to catch up to her, his rhythmic footfalls lulling him into a concentrated view, ignoring most of his surroundings. He jumped up over a rock, landing heavier than he intended too, forcing him to regain his speed to catch her.
-
"Then how are you going to be able to ride?" He asked, concerned about her well being. He knew that her legs weren't in any sort of good shape. He didn't want her to have to ride again without a saddle and risk worsening her legs than they already were. He let out a sigh, "Should I go and fly again to look for saddles?" He asked.
-
He hummed quietly in relief before he pulled away from her hand. "I don't know how to help then. I'm not much use for being quiet." He said with a humorless chuckle. "What are your ideas?" He asked, tilting his head slightly in question. "I mean, my abilities to help here are a bit limited."
-
"Again, don't hesitate to call if you need me, but I'll do my best to stay away." He said, poking her shoulder with his claw lightly. "I don't want to have to bail you out, but you know I will." He said with a small sigh. "Stay safe, Fira." He told her before walking back into the woods.
-
He walked over to her, taking one of the heavy saddles form her and setting it on the ground. "Well, that's good. Did you encounter any trouble while you were there?" He asked her, taking the other saddle and setting it on top of the other one. "And how are your legs holding up? Are they hurting you too much?"
-
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked her, tilting his head as he stared at the saddles for a moment. "I know I'm not the best when it comes to precision work, but I do know that leather is definitely tougher than the cloth you all wear. Maybe I could help with making the holes where you need them?"
-
He nodded, holding the piece down with his other paw before pulling his claw through the material. His claw was sharper than any knife or sword could legitimately hope to be. After he had cut it into the pieces she'd asked for, he pulled his paw away to let her work with them how she wanted.
-
He watched her work, staying quiet so he didn't break her concentration. He laid down slowly, flattening the grass under himself so that it would be comfortable. Laying his head down on his paws, he watched her out of the corner of his eye, a vivid iris watching her movements.
-
He stood up with a stretch, a low grumble of a yawn leaving him before he walked over to her. "How do you want me to sit?" He asked her, knowing that on his haunches his chest was far out of her reach. He crouched down low like he was going to take off, but his muscles weren't bunched up in preparation.
-
He spread his wings, flapping them slightly to experiment. He nodded slightly, affirming that the saddle didn't hinder the movement of his wings. "It seems like it fits well." He told her rotating his leg lightly to make sure it wouldn't hinder him.
-
"Well, I guess you are. Now all you need is a sword." He said offhandedly, "Though, you'd also need a trainer." He said with a thoughtful hum, scratching at the ground lightly. "But, besides that, where would we go now?" He asked her, watching her face for an expression change.
-
He nods slightly, "I guess we do, but you don't have supplies to last. I can hunt for the both of us, but what about your clothing?" He asked, a small sigh of frustration leaving him. "Again, it just feels like we're being backed into a corner." He looked up at the sky, watching it darken as the moon had yet to rise and the stars were their only company.

Ah, that's understandable.
-
"I know Fira, I know. I'm just conflicted on what to do. We should help people, but we're not strong enough to do anything." Isamu said, bowing his head in shame. "I don't mean to undermine your ideas I'm just scared because of the fact that we can't do anything but run. What happens when we run out of space to flee?"
-
He extended his neck, pulling his heard around her slightly in his own version of an embrace. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry all this happened, but we have to be strong to get through it. One of the things we need to do is learn how to fight. We can't get anywhere with helping people if we can't help ourselves." He told her quietly.
-
Isamu laughed lightly, "If only it were that easy." He said, turning to look at her. "Are you just going to sit or are we going tonight?" He asked, unfurling his wings slightly in preparation just in case she did want to leave now. He wouldn't mind staying until next morning, but it was always nice to be safe than sorry.
-
He nodded, stretching out his wings to tighten up the muscles. He crouched down low for a moment before the muscles in his back legs bunched up and he jumped into the sky. His wings caught the air quickly and with a few powerful flaps they were climbing away from the tree-tops.
-
Isamu hummed in agreement, "This is what I experience whenever I fly. I'm glad I get to share it with someone." He told her, glancing back at her on the saddle. "Now, where are we headed?" He asked, turning his gaze forwards once more so that he could navigate.
