Shadowflame growled when the others left and surprised the boy by being able to speak the human language. "If I were you human....I would to make sure I don't get out of line"

He twitched his tail to tell her to follow and started walking towards a mountain

He rolls his eyes and gently picks her up by the scruff and starts running

He chuckles and continues until he reaches a crack in the side of a mountain before he sets her down

He chuckled as he stepped forward "what ever you say short legs"

She lowered her head. "I have been around many males in my life"

He stiffened as he remembered his past before looking towards her. "Are you sure?"

He looks away slightly before looking back to her with sorrow in his eyes "Stay here, I'm going to go hunt"

He flicks his ear towards the crack. "That's my den"

He followed her into a huge cavern with a pool of water in the center illuminating the cavern

She chuckles slightly. "You seem to be little threat, I wont hurt you. Besides I am in no shape to fight"

He smiles. "Do you like it?"

He takes a moment to get a good look at the female, she was beautiful but he knew she would never accept him. He padded up and licked her shoulder. "You can stay here for as long as you wish. "

He smiles as he rumbles happily, breathing in her scent

He padded over and laid down a few feet away.

Shadowflame was still fast asleep, his tail tucked under his muzzle.

He continues to sleep peacefully, for once looking like a soft wolf instead of a skilled fighter.

He lifted his head and laid his eyes on Silvermist. He couldn't stand it anymore, he had to know. "Silvermist.....can I ask you something?"

Shadowflame had finally found a small underground tunnel in the strange territory and decided to go out to hunt. The thrill of the hunt ran through her body like fire that forced her to raise her head to the sky and howl as loudly as she could.
