[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw ran over as soon as her heard the Bodyguard yell. He saw the possibly drowning owl and the vixen swimming after her and cautiously approached the edge of the water. Sighing and grumbling to himself, he waddled in. Doggy-paddling over, he quickly went through the water. With a short pelt and long forearms, he could swim pretty well. "Hey! Harbor, calm down." he shouted, spitting out water as it got into his mouth and nose a little. Being calm in crisis was the best way to save a life, at least, he thought that.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw slowed to a trot as he saw Infernokit had gotten out safely, and sighed with relief "Golly gee, man. I thought we lost you for a moment." he grunted, flopping down and looking over the Honourguard, before a sheepish smile spread on his face. "You should get dry, you'll catch a chill." he murmured.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw sighed. "Hey now... don't be too hard on 'im, sir! He got a bit of a swelled head, and we make mistakes." he explained, standing up beside his friend and smiling. "Honorguard or not, I've seen Infernokit fight cats I can't even fathom to. Try not to drown again, m'kay?" he asked, before turning away and scrambling back to camp.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw liked water. It was cold, and nice on a really hot day. He could hold his breath underwater for a few minutes before coming up for air very easily, too. 'Water is okay once you be calm with it. Go with the flow...' half-way submerged in the clear depths, he saw little fishes dart around him, water lapped at his nose, but he didn't go in yet. Not yet. If he had to die, which he knew he would. He'd do suicide in water. It wasn't too hard to drown, it was hard and painful to ger murdered. 'Like Dad was murdered.' he ducked his head in the water slowly. He didn't want to think about that.

He didn't want to think about anything.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Well surprise, surprise. Aztecpaw padded over, eyeing them both carefully. Wasn't any Medicine Cat coming, regardless. He had lost all faith in them a long while ago. "Meh," he sat down.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]I want him to either seriously maim or kill them. I want some trauma in his life. I'm not sure why he would kill them, but he'd feel horrified with himself afterwards. No, he won't grow a taste for blood and become a murderer or something silly like that, just some development for my favorite character as of now.

    Any takers?

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Suddenly, he began to wonder how this first training session would even play out. It was clear that Daywalker saw him as someone who could be mended and taught into something that would protect and defend, but did he want that? Yes. He did. He stood a bit taller, looking the General square in the eye. Rhymekit didn't seem much fun regardless - she was smart, logical... no wonder she was promoted at a early age. But it also made her a bit - indifferent. He couldn't hang around her longer than a few minutes.

Determination filled him. He wasn't going to fall of the grid. His mother did that. He loved his mother, honestly. But, there was a bit of remorse whenever he thought of her. He associated his mother with Medicine Cats, whom were probably the most inactive high position of them all. He didn't even know who they were, and that was just sad. That one who tried suicide... Glitchpaw, right? He didn't particularly care for her, though. She seemed so... lazy and without a purpose. She thought the easy way how was killing herself.

Dismissing that from his mind, her words snapped him from his thoughts. Special place? Leaning forward in anticipation, he blinked hard. "Dad... trained there? I need to go here." he meowed firmly, standing up, his eyes lacking any specific emotion except for a sudden want for knowledge.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]He wasn't listening to her explanation, moreover watching Petra intensely. He prodded her side, "Oi. What's your name? Don't move, please and thank you." he grunted sternly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw was padded around, making use of his day, trying to hunt like how Daywalker taught him. It was looking good. He was even so close to catching a rabbit! So close! But when he heard the deputy groaning in pain -- he could have swore he heard someone else's voice, a female. But by the time he ran over, she was gone. But her scent wasn't. Gritting his teeth, he knew who to call for this time. "Firepaw! Could quick..." he shouted, looking around desperately.

"Sir, I'm gonna get you back to camp. Who did this?" he asked worriedly. He knew it was a Scarclanner, but he needed to know. This cat just put Scarclan in deep trouble. The sharp scent of blood made his head spin, and he gagged a little at the wound. 'If only I knew how to fix this...'

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]Aztecpaw ran over. As he saw the deputy struggle, he padded over. "Please, sir. Lean on me." he meowed before standing up straight and smiling warmly to all. "I'm Aztecpaw. Apprentice, um... my Mom used to be Medicine Cat and my Dad a General. My mentor is Daywalker..." he trailed off, glancing at Alaskanriches.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]He smiled, standing up. Looking over to the raccoon and rolling his shoulders, he held up a paw. "Firepaw, me and you... all of us know standing around waiting for the previous medical team is useless. I'll help you." he meowed, smirking.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]He gave another firm nod. 'Leader Ollie... Deputy Day. That sounded so odd. We're they dating or something?' he was tempted to ask, but Daywalker had been hurt by his father's death as much as he had. "I understand. I'll do anything to train where my father once was. It tells me, in my bones -- that I'm doing something right." he meowed solemnly, tail and whiskers twitching. Oh, yes. He was done crying and moaning. His death was still fresh as an open wound as it was easy to tell most Windclanner's had already forgotten about the cream tabby. He wanted his memory to remain, just for a bit longer.

Padding after the she-cat, he looked around. The rush of familiarity filled him as he walked through his home. A place he'd defend to his last breath. He turned to face her and nodded before sighing. "That's all... I can barely fight. Even in little play fights I sucked. I don't wanna be defenseless." he grunted, his voice barely above a whisper.
