[fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; font-family: times new roman; text-align: justify; width: 450px;]At the sounds of his fellow clanmates' many footsteps and the crunching of snow, Lovi let his curiosity win him over and finally pushed himself out of the burrow he had made a week or so ago. His head held low as always, and shades pushed up so they covered his amber gaze completely, Lovino hobbled towards the ever growing crowd and with a grunt, seated himself beside Quicksliver. His dulled eyes finally fell upon the being whom everyone was spazzing over and he could almost feel his already icy cold heart break to bits. Those honey hues of his registered the pure white fur, that highly resembled the very snow that was littered here and there all through out the clearing, and an almost in-human, or if we were technically speaking, in-bigcat bend in the once lively one's neck. Oh no, oh no, oh no.
Almost immediately, the giant started to feel his hazy gaze flood up as tears warred against his visionaries, threatening to leak right on out and roll down the mighty one's cheeks. Eventually the self-fought battle was diminished and those tears of pure sadness won. A barrage of the salty, wet things dripped down from his watery eyes and after a good few many seconds, ended up hitting the floor beneath Lovi's slightly scratched mitts. This tiger who raised him better than his own two parents, this beastie whom he used to curl up with and sleep with when he had nightmares, this brave, brave, warrior whom he had once fought beside in battle, was no more.
Memories flooded back from the time Lovi had just become an Insignian. He was snuffling at a few diamonds and whatever else was scattered upon the gravelly material that a little pup, whose name he had forgotten, had dug up. All of a sudden, the sound of the friendly one's voice rang through the once peaceful air and in a matter of seconds, Toni was by his side, blabbering on about something he saw in the pile. After that, Lovino ranted on about the slightly stalky one and the oblivious wildcat quickly brushed it aside and continued picking through the assortment of crystals and what not that were wedged into the sand. A necklace with a little tomato shaped bead in the middle was brought to the former kitten and immediately, Lovi thrust it away with a paw. But, Toni squawked on about how it would look cute on him and the grump was eventually charging straight towards him. While in the process, Toni slipped the piece of jewelry around his neck and that was pretty much how Lovi's tomato apparel came about. But, for some reason, it was one of the more clearer memories that Lovi sometimes reflected back on. It wasn't much of a happy one nor a bad one. It was, well, just memorable. Also, it had been one of his first memories with the powerful animal who lay lifeless upon the ground now.
Slowly, and shakily, the emotionally torn-up youngster made his way towards the corpse and stared down at his former caretaker and lover. Why the f*ck did he have to f*ck die again? Of all times, why this one? It was already hard to even look at his face as it was. Mumbling a few curses in his native tongue, the crying youngster finally settled his massive head close to Antonio's and gave it the gentlest of nuzzles he could possibly offer. Hey, he had been a fricking father figure to him and Lovino couldn't just let him rot there without showing at least a sign of respect. The mutt then drew back as he cast a glance in Sirius' direction and remembered that the spotted one was his boyfriend before that loveable male had just passed.
He has other bodies....doesn't he? He'll come back to life soon, right? Everyone friggen does. He has to! Giving his boggled up head a good shake, the dog allowed a very faint and almost inaudible, "Sorry.", to escape his maw before he turned from the Spanish one's body and finally put himself back upon unstable feet. Tears still sliding down his dampened cheeks, Lovino coaxed himself away from the grand animal's form and forced himself to walk away from the saddening scene.
