However, Shadow shut her eyes again as another light, fainter and dim, rested beside her. This baby, however, she had no idea would come. It seemed to be grazed by the effects earlier - it had been a bit too late. Sarah had healed both of them, however, to the extent that they didn't have too many mind and birth defects. However, the reason both of them had some problems was that Shadow's fear, her stress, had interfered with the birthing process.
The first orb of light broke to reveal a bluish-purple arceus, looking very cosmic and coat glittering with stars. Her wheel, however, had scythes on them instead of a regular arceus wheel - she took after her mother's absol-arceus hybrid. She had dark ears much like her mother's absol facet, and a darker face as well as dark fur covering her leg and some other parts of her body. In fact, she was a complete replica of Shadow if not the cosmic-color that her coat had - as well as the stars.
Beautiful eyes opening, the shade of purple, Shadow panicked for a moment, jolting awake completely. She shouldn't have opened her eyes so quickly. "Oh, no." she murmured, knowing for a fact something had gone wrong with the birth. The foal opened her mouth, though nothing came out. The replica of her mother was oblivious to the sound.
"No. No. No. How is this possible?" murmured Shadow, knowing her foal was deaf. It was probably because of her fear, her stress. Oh, no. But she was beautiful - so beautiful, and Shadow would never disown one of her children.
"I shall name you Calliope," she murmured, "For the voice you may never have."
Calliope cantered on unsteady legs toward her mother, curling up and falling asleep.
The second one had a pale-silvery coat with a dark gray wheel, though immediately, Shadow noticed its undersize. The hybrid closed her eyes, silent tears trickling out of her eyes as she laid around both of them, keeping them warmth. "Kerstin. Your name will be Kerstin." she whispered, then cried. She never wanted this to happen to her children. "You are both so beautiful, so beautiful...but I have made you both suffer so much."
