Lionpaw's ears pricked. "I'll try."

Leopardpaw hopped off the fox when she saw Wideriver approach. "Wideriver! Shouldn't your leg be healing?"

Lionpaw dropped into a hunting crouch, her tail held erect. "Is this O.K.?"

Leopardpaw's fur grew warm. Just then, the fox raised its paw and swiped at her ear. Leopardpaw screamed in pain as blood dripped from where her ear used to be.

Leopardpaw winced in pain, but she couldn't let Wideriver battle the fox alone.

Lionpaw glowed with pride. She stiffened. "I smell something..." she mewed. "I think it's a rabbit."

Leopardpaw leaped at the fox, claws tearing viciously at its muzzle. She smiled as the fox's blood spattered onto her midnight-black fur.

Leopardpaw sank her teeth into its neck, tasting the salty blood. It let out a gurgling cry, and sank to the ground. Leopardpaw raked her claws down its back one more time before the life finished bleeding out of it.

Lionpaw crept towards the rabbit, it was huddled under a huge tree, chewing alfalfa leaves.

Leopardpaw winced as more blood dripped from the spot where her ear used to be. "Coming." she mewed.

The rabbit darted away when it heard Swiftkit's yowl. "Mousebrained kit." Lionpaw muttered under her breath. She swallowed her anger. "Oh, hi Swiftkit! I was hunting."

Leopardpaw smiled. Wideriver always cheered her up. "I better go to the Medicine Cat's, huh?" she mewed. "My tail is acting up again." Her tail hung stiffly at her side.

Lionpaw padded into the forest, where a patch of herbs grew. The herb stash needed more herbs, so Lifeblaze had sent her out here to gather some.

Leopardpaw padded over to Dustheart. "Hm. You're here to." she grumbled. "I'd rather be back in SolarClan, getting a good night's sleep." she motioned with her tail towards a gray tom. "He won't let me leave, for some mousebrained reason."

Sunpaw awoke in StarClan next to a black she-cat with amber eyes. "Who are you?" he mewed. "Where are we?" The black cat snorted. "Well, you might as well know you're in StarClan, and this," she motioned to a gray tom sitting next to her, with stars sparkling like frost in his fur. "Mangy fleabag won't let me leave."

Leopardpaw's eyes widened. "No...I can't be dead! I can't leave Wideriver." she turned her crazed gaze to Fleastar. "How did I die?"

Sunpaw turned to Lemonpaw. "Hey." he mewed. "I had the weirdest dream last night. This cat...she told me she was Leopardpaw...told me I was in StarClan." he shivered. "But as you can see, I'm not dead."

Sunpaw shivered. Could it be possible that he'd die soon?

Lionpaw rushed over to Swiftkit. "What happened?" she mewed. "Are you hurt?"
