(I guess it's just like a normal den. One way in, one way out....unless you dug your way out.)

After a minute of thinking, she realized there was no time. The fire was almost at the stone. She shook her head and reached back into the hole, now seeing at least part of the she-cat's shape. She was finally able to grab the she-cat by the scruff and manage to get her out of the den. As she turned and tried to get the cat out of the smoke, a cinder from the fire came floating down and hit the tiger's back, making her slightly yelp. But she still tried to lead the cat away from the stone.

With a smile that didn't show very well behind the prey, Traitor nodded and followed Ice back towards the tree. Of course i've been gone all night. I can't dig as well or as fast as a dog, she thought while they walked. But now she had time to think about what all was said and what happened. To tell the truth, she never expected Ice to do what he did. Was he trying to protect her or was he doing that for himself? She was tempted to ask, very tempted, but she didn't really know what she would think of the answer. So, she decided she would ask it in a different of way.
"T-Thanks for fighting him off....I didn't really expect you to defend me when he started talking about my name."

When she was suddenly pushed, the tiger didn't really expect the she-cat to do it. She glanced over at the cat before running forward still. Since they were able to see better then before, the she-cat could probably get herself to safety as well.

Not even paying attention to the cat behind her, the tiger kept running at the same pace. When she was finally far from the fire and could only see a little bit of smoke in the air, she slowed. She then glanced back at the she-cat.

Finally, now that she was able to see and talk better, she sighed and said, "you're welcome." Her tail flicked and she started to walk again, but not at a very fast pace.

She didn't really notice the cat following her in the beginning. But as she walked, it started to stand out. So, since she was starting to wonder about being followed. She also knew that saying anything would be a lot more odd then, so she simply looked back at the she-cat and twitched her ears before looking back ahead.

    (It's partially back..)

Finally, the tiger was tired of the silence. She stopped in her tracks and looked back at the cat, unable to see the fire smoke anymore. "No offense, but is there any reason you are following me?" She really wasn't trying to seem mean, for she partially enjoyed the company of another cat, but it was odd being followed by a cat that she was just fighting with not long ago. If they could just find something to talk about, it wouldn't seem as odd.

For a moment, it looked like the tiger was sad. She was actually very tempted to protest the cat leaving. But clearly by the sound of the cat's voice, she wanted to leave. So, without a word, she pointed her tail to the left of where they were walking. She then started to walk forward again, her tail dropping with disappointment and her face looking down at the ground.

"Wait!" Even though she surprised herself, the tiger finally got at least a little bit of courage. She turned towards the calico and tried to think of what to say. Did she want to tell this cat to stay? Did she simply wanna say goodbye? She kind of wanted to tell the she-cat to stay. But she at least found one thing that she could say. "Friends should at least know each others' names."

Deca. That was an odd name. Although her name wasn't much better, or at least her nickname. "Traitor," she mewed with the slight worry that, like every other cat, Deca would worry about what her name meant and run off. She turned away from the cat and took a few steps before stopping but not looking back. "Maybe we'll meet up at some point again."

For a moment, she was tempted to say yes, but that would seem to forward, no matter who you were. And since she actually was a but lonely, she finally knew what to say. "Well....n-not exactly," she mewed while trying not to seem as nervous.

Almost instantly, she felt shy. She had never been told those words by someone before, especially not a tom. Even him coming closer made her feel even more shy. She could now feel the cool breeze beginning to kick up, moving the leaves on the trees around, letting sun shine through them.
With the way Traitor's fur was shining now, it was clear that she had just recently groomed herself. She glanced over at the tom, her blue-green eyes now looking like they were sparkling, mainly because of the sun.
Although she was a bit embarrassed, she then pressed her side against his, rubbing her head on his shoulder and purring.

Now it was to late. She had no choice but to confess now. "To tell the truth, I actually desire someone else's company." She didn't really want to outright say that she didn't want this cat to leave, but it was kinda true. She just wasn't going to say that.

"Sure," she finally said before flicking her tail with a small smile and walking onward through the forest. She wasn't sure how this was gonna work out, but it was worth a try. In the end, if they didn't get along, they could easily go their separate ways.
