Gold walked outside after just waking up.

Gold got up after being knocked down by Lyra. "Are you okay, Lyra?"

"Wow, you're in a rush." said Gold.

"Of course I'm excited!" said gold as he and Lyra were running towards Professor Elm's Laboratory.

"We're here!!" shouted Gold as he and Lyra busted in Professor Elm's Laboratory.

"Hello there! Sorry about us being late!" said Gold to Professor Elm.

"Yep! We're really excited to get our first pokemon!" said Gold trying hard not to jump up and down in excitement.

"Awesome!" said Gold, "I definitely call Cyndaquil, Lyra! Who do you choose?"

"Cool!" said Gold as he picked up his new pokemon.

Gold looked at his pokemon. “I'll call you....erm...Ninja!”

"Sweet! What does this thing do?" said Gold looking at his pokedex.

"Cool!" said Gold looking at his pokedex in amazement.

Gold looked at his pokemon. "So, are we done here? I wanna hurry up and battle with my pokemon!"

"Alright, bye!" said Gold as he ran out of the Lab.

"Alright!" said gold as he ran into his house.
"Hey, mom! Professor Elm gave me a pokemon and a pokedex!"
Gold ran outside towards route 1.
"Yo, Lyra!" -
Gold looked back and saw Lyra.
"Hey!!" -
Gold put down his pokemon.
"Wanna try out our pokemon?" -
"Yeah! Lets do it!"
