Ha ha, hello! Welcome. I'm so very glad that you could make it here with me today. You do know why you're here, correct? No! Oh, well let me explain. First off, my name is Professor Willow. I am a scientist born in the Hoenn region, and am proud to say I discovered a new region in which life can inhabit. It's a small, quiet region, and that is particularly why we fear it. It seemed to arise out of nothingness and I found it. But us scientists cannot explore on our own, thus we need the assistance of a few trainers. We picked out you- three sixteen-year-olds from each region; Hoenn, Sinnoh, Kanto, Johto, Unova, and Kalos. Every trainer from each region gets flown in to this region to come to our laboratory. This region so far is called Region X., as it is not classified for use just yet. As far as we're concerned, it's void of any human life. And that's where you- one of our trainers -come in. You choose a starter Pokemon- Charmander, Treecko, Froakie, etc. -and then we give you a PokeDex, Pokeballs, potions, all those basic necessities. And then you go off, exploring the Region X. and recording data and using a map to mark good ideas for civilization, okay? We only have a few requirements though, those being that you must travel together, or, at least, break off into little groups and then meet up to check in every now and again. We also will be giving you HoloCasters to keep in touch with each other and us. Anything you find, report! Mark the places of antiques and ancient stones. It'll be fun, and you are the most qualified trainers to do so! Good luck.

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS ;; Tracks and Reservations and Forms allowed. Two Characters Per Person no Matter What. My own self possesses an exception due to the fact I also have Eldred, but he'll just be a side character that I play as that follows us around. Also, this is a semi-literate thread, 6+ detailed sentences per post. ENJOY.

    Ksua --
She breathed a sigh of relief once she was off the ground, and pressed her head against his chest. She was sweating with blood splashed across her clothes. Truly, she didn't feel remorse for anyone but Reshiram. She felt bad for having hurt her at all, and the blood of the Legend on her very own body wasn't helping. After Carnum shouted out commands, she gave a quiet, "Thank you," and the listened as he began to speak of Rose; the Weavile. "Hey...something's odd about that Weavile girl and after you recover I'm gonna need you to check it out with me okay?" That sounded perfectly fine. The girl was blind nonetheless, so why not help her after all? "Okay," she agreed in her choked voice, beginning to close her eyes. "F-for now...I'm just gonna nap." And with that, she was asleep, snoring soundly with empty dreams.

    Ayori --
Despite her pain, there was energy roaring through her body as she saw Rose hit the ground, and her throat began to ache as she screamed the Weavile's name. "Rose!" She gasped and hauled herself to her feet, the adrenaline making her feel alive. "Rose! Rose!" Ayori tossed herself along the sand, shaking her head as she brushed by Reshiram. Currently people were injecting her with syringes and whispering sweetly to her, using some equipment to haul her up. She pried her amber eyes away and glanced at Rose, gasping for breath. She halted beside the girl, falling to her knees and slid her arms underneath the girl's torso and neck, lifting her up. Her face was stained with blood- actually, everything was. Ayori pursed her lips and brushed some of Rose's short hair out of her face, placing a smile on her face. "Hey," she whispered soothingly, using her thumb to brush the crimson from her cheeks. The emotions she felt for this girl were unbelievable; it was as if they met before. But how could she be sure Rose even liked her this much? They had only known each other for a day and a half! Perhaps...no. Had they known each other in their lives before this...this Gijinka? She didn't want to think about it. She just wanted to be right here with Rose, right now.

[ *hyperventilating* i have a plot idea!!! as you can probably tell from the last bit of ayori's perspective, she believes she and rose have met before, and she did earlier as well!! maybe they should have known each other as kids? :3 just thinkin' here. ]

-- well, actually, i am a female. ^^ nice guessing. but it's also 'cause i'm homosexual, so i guess female characters are always a bit more appealing to me? something along the lines of that. but now i just sound weird so i'm...i'm just gonna shut up. and pit, it's alright if you want a female character, too, i don't mind. unless you really want to make a male. i'm sure some others will come along that would play some more males. don't think the gender ratio is forcing you to make a male.

-- i guess that's a good reason to like rainbows. i mean, i like the rainbow flag but not rainbows in general. and really? we're the first lesbians? x3 that's kinda funny. anywhoooo, i play super smash bros, zelda, the elder scrolls [ oblivion, skyrim, etc. ], halo, occasionally i'll play call of duty, but i especially like pokemon. ^^

It was subtle, creating enough heat to only enlighten those close enough to its flickering flames. It barely created enough light to fend off the growing darkness that spanned across the night sky. A figure pressed herself as close to the flames as possible without searing her skin, frowning miserably. She loved the wood with all her heart, but not at nighttime. Truth be told, the poor girl despised the dark, especially when she was in her lonesome. She had come in a group, though two of them went off on their prior mission for the evening whilst the third did whatever else she had decided do, and she had taken her Mightyena with her. It had only been fifteen minutes and Vera was shivering with terror, her fingers tangling themselves in the grass beneath her rear. At least she had her Pokemon by her side, although they proved no assistance to her encompassing fright, as they were far too busy in the midst of their hunting. Only one remained from the main party she had brought along with her, and that was her beloved Dragonite, Mizuchi, who was currently nibbling on her Pokepuff with much pleasure. Vera sighed quietly, leaning her head upon her dearest Pokemon's shoulder. She was energetic, dying to go elsewhere, but she knew she couldn't leave the camp unattended.

Reasons for their presence in the woods were unknown to the blonde. All she knew was that her friends, Isaac and Kieran, had to take care of something- whatever could they have meant by that? -and had decided to drag the girl along, considering she was "like a sister" to them. Wherever they were now was beyond her knowledge, and, truly, she wasn't sure she wanted to know. Leave it so Isaac and Kieran to get themselves entangled in matters they had no purpose in. As for the other human of the group, Charlotte, she was off pursuing that fantasy of hers' yet again. Ahh, yes, ever since their last camping experience, the female had been constantly tracking the Pokemon she had sworn to have seen, the one "wearing the pendants". Of course Vera loved her companion with all her heart, but she couldn't help but find her a tad bit crazy at times. I mean, as a child, she had always claimed to have seen Legends and Pokemon that even the most amazing of scientists had not yet captured on Dex. When Kie and Isaac offered Charlotte the opportunity to tag along exactly where she had targeted the Absol's next location, she couldn't deny. Vera didn't mind her beliefs, though; as long as it kept her happy. And entertained. And that meant quiet.

Just as Vera felt calm, her mind at ease, her entire body serene, the sound of trampling through the undergrowth caught her attention. She blinked her weary eyes, rubbed them, and then gazed towards the irritating ruckus. She shifted her body upwards to catch sight of a large four-legged creature bursting out of the wood, its massive body find way towards her. Behind it traipsed a woman with jet black hair that fluttered down her back in thick waves, her deep steel colored eyes shining beautifully through the dark air of the night. A frown was evident upon her prominent features, as if someone was using invisible strings to tug them downwards. Her eyebrows were knit together in frustration, her hands balled into fists. "Hey," Vera cooed sleepily, arching an eyebrow as Charlotte plopped down beside her, burying her face in her hands. "How did...that thing go?" Charlotte released a distressed groan, shaking her head as she pried her features away from her clammy palms, directing them towards her friend. "Terrible! I've explored the entire damned wood and I haven't caught sight of that stupid thing even once! It should be here somewhere," she cried. "Somewhere!" Vera sighed sadly, lifting her shoulders.

"Maybe you should just...give up?" she suggested lazily, her violet eyes sparkling. "I mean, you've been looking for ages, Char; just...mph...stop, I guess. You're not going to find it." There was no time for either of them to say anything else as the Mightyena released a bloodcurdling howl and took off sprinting into the depths of the wood. Charlotte grinned to herself, glaring at the smaller girl before her. "Looks like I found exactly what I was looking for." Vera rolled her eyes and allowed her friend to disappear into the darkness nonetheless. A few moments passed of silence when suddenly, the ground trembled. From a distance, the sound of massive weight crashing down to the landscape hit Vera's eardrums and she was up in a second. "Dammit," she hissed under her breath; her friends were out there! She turned her violet gaze toward Mizuchi, who was sharing her curiosity intently. "C'mon," the blond breathed, ignoring the fact that those trees could've been caused by anything...she wondered if it was the fault of her Flygon. He was known or throwing himself into idiotic situations. Vera grunted and threw herself onto Mizuchi's back, gnawing on her lip. What the Hell was going on?

"Onwards!" she said, feeling a rush of adrenaline that quickly diminished, replacing itself with fear. Hm, adventures out into the depths of the woods weren't her thing. She had to commit though; for her companions. The Dragonite took off at a sprint, adjusting to the weight of the female on her back, and then spread out its minuscule winds and flew. Her body only hovered above the ground, but it was far faster than Vera could ever run. They arrived at a barren location quickly. Trees were scattered about, littering the surface like tombstones of a graveyard. Vera squinted into the blackness of the eve, hopping off her dear Mizuchi. No, no one appeared to be here...She scratched behind her hand, eyebrow arched with concern. "No one's here," she breathed. "No one." That didn't stop Vera from anything though, she walked forth with careful ease, hopping over scattered twigs. After she clambered past the remnants of the limbs, she was sure she caught sight of a glint of red in the grass. She crouched down below it, sticking out her index and middle to dip them into the substance. Sure, enough, it was blood. Vera gagged, brushing it off in the leaves before rising to her feet. Something was off about this entire area. Something had happened here. Without another word, she continued into the woods, determined to find whatever it was that had been here.[/fancypost]
