    Personality:Rin has a protective and supportive personality. He can be very violent and tends to get into fights (which are usually caused by strong emotions) but is actually kindhearted. He supports his friends and tries to encourage and help them. He also seems very protective of Yukio, and aims to surpass him one day. Rin is clueless at times, such as saying phrases wrong or thinking that the Kraken's fins are ears. Despite this, he is able to connect with someone's feelings to his own, such as Shiemi Moriyama's grief over her grandmother and Ryuji Suguro's ambition to defeat Satan. He's not the type of person for school or studying, though he was able to gain a junior high diploma and become an Exwire.
    Unlike his younger brother, Rin is immature, which leads other people into believing that he is the younger twin out of Yukio and himself. He is headstrong (figuratively as well as literally) and is often very open with his friends. However, when his friends found out about his Demon heritage, some became afraid of him, and thought that he was unstable and thus dangerous, but they slowly got used to him and accepted him during the Kyoto Arc. During the anime Rin thinks about the past of the day his father died and also what Yukio thought of him the first day of Exorcist class.
    He seems to have a small soft-spot for animals. In the beginning of the manga, the reason he had gotten into a fight with Reiji Shiratori and his delinquent gang was because they were shooting down pigeons (torturing them). /Yukio is mostly seen as quiet and calm, yet he is somewhat bi-polar. He is usually seen happily smiling, but can easily get sidetracked due to Rin's personality clash, and becomes rather dark. He takes things seriously, but knows a joke when he hears one.
    On few occasions he is shown to have a very aggressive side. If he is pushed too far, he can gain a fiercely angry personality. His angry side is so intense that it frightens Rin when it makes itself known. This may be as a result of his Demonic heritage even though he didn't acquire Satan's flames like Rin. He is a big worrywart and often overthinks about situations. He is often seen sleeping anywhere like a chair or on his desk while thinking. He doesn't like to partake in 'unseemly' actions. He is usually punctual and lectures Rin on how to behave. He has good control over his anger and tries his best to be calm and composed.
    History:During the time of the Blue Night, Satan murdered a huge number of the world's greatest holy men, in order to find someone who he could possess without any ill effects to save Yuri Egin, who was going to be executed by the Vatican for being impregnated by him. Shiro Fujimoto and Mephisto Pheles were ordered by Yuri's father, Ernst Frederik Egin, to go find and kill her and Satan's children. They found Yuri within the forest with her newborn twins, whom she named Rin and Yukio , and she soon died of childbirth. Instead of killing the twins, Shiro decided to seal Rin's Demonic powers within the Demon-slaying blade Kurikara with the help of Mephisto, and raise Yuri's children as his own. Mephisto then made a deal with Fujimoto that if he doesn't succeed in raising the twins as normal children and if Rin's Demon powers ever came out, they will be under his custody. In his childhood, Rin led a normal human life, but his strength and temper seemed unnatural, so all the children and even teachers feared him and thought of him as a Demon, throwing slangs such as 'Demon child.' He got into fights often and injured all his classmates, and the only one who could stop him was Shiro. Rin always admired Shiro and wanted to become like him when he grew up. Rin always protected Yukio from bullies and encouraged him to chase his dream. Also in his youth, Rin learned how to cook, which became his natural talent. /Yukio, along with Rin, was conceived during his mother's possession by Satan. Though Satan's powers were expected to be split between them, Yukio's body as a fetus proved too weak to handle the Demonic power, which completely transferred to Rin. Nevertheless, Yukio did receive a mashou at birth, causing him to be able to see Demons ever since he could remember. He was always bullied by other kids but Rin would save him. His dream was to become a doctor. He thought he was weak and wanted to become stronger, then Father Fujimoto approached him and asked him if he wanted to become an Exorcist. Yukio secretly trained to become an Exorcist since age seven in order to protect Rin (through the help of Shiro Fujimoto). While both Yukio and Rin are in their first year at True Cross Academy, Yukio is already an instructor at the Exorcist cram school who teaches Anti-Demon Pharmacology to Rin's class. It is often stated that Yukio is a genius, having already acquired the title "Meister" in both the Dragoon and Doctor class, while ordinarily most people would aim for Meister in one class (both are still fully qualified Exorcists). He is currently ranked a Middle First class Exorcist.

    Personality :Shura has a rather laid-back personality and uses slang; using yer instead of your. She is also noted to be rather blunt, speaking freely about sensitive topics, as well as not being hesitant in pointing out others' flaws. Even with her superiors, she is not afraid to challenge them, which on a few occasions resulted in a physical conflict. Like Rin, she often slacks off, and would rather drink and let others do work. However, when needed, Shura can be serious and focused, as seen when she duels Amaimon and being able to depict the fact that Rin's flames take over him because of his fear. She is also fiercely loyal to Father Fujimoto, despite denying his ways. Insulting or playing around with Shura can lead to being punished. When disguised as Yamada she appeared to be a game freak. Shura is currently hiding her true age by stating to everyone that she is 18, when Yukio has alluded to the fact that she is 26.
