The little brown wolf pup trotted up to the SkyClan border, his head bobbing around in excitement. It had taken a while to get here, but he made it, and that's all he cared about. The canine had previously come from a research center, in which they tested animal's reaction if they were actually launched into space. Of course, they were tests, of course. After sending monkey's out of the atmosphere, they wanted to see what other mammals might function up there as well. He had been one of their guinea pigs, flying around in zero gravity chambers and going around in little space ships, seeing what might happen to his body at certain speeds. He loved the place, all the adventure and fun, until one day a fire raged through the building and caused them to shut down. He knew that he'd be shipped off to a zoo or something, and he didn't do cages, so he escaped, but kept his dog tags as a souvenir so that he could never forget his home. |

His silver gaze glanced between the two present, a bit curious at what position they might hold here. He knew for a fact that large groups had an acute ranking system, but he deduced that it was different from his space academy. |

Hm, now this was interesting. Groundpup knew, though, that this new term was extremely logical, let alone sound. Although he was new and didn't know the people around him, as well as those promoted and demoted, he did have feelings for them. The usual disappointed for those that had their ranks taken away, 'sorry about that bud, you'll get 'em next time'. And the more giddy for those that had improved in the ranking system, 'yeah, awesome! you totally deserve it!' kind of thing. |

Groundpup, of course, also found himself lost in the starry night. It was one of the things you had to love if you wanted to be apart of the space academy. As he trotted up to the two females, his dog tags would jingle, signaling that he was coming up behind them. "Night skies are beautiful, am I right?" He commented, taking a seat next to Beanpaw, recognizing her a bit from the border. Tilting his head back, the wolf pup would grin at the twinkling stars put on a show against the inky black curtain, sparkling and glimmering. He knew stars really were, but he payed no attention to the facts. He just wished to enjoy the view. |

Groundpup was raised at a facility that tested how mammal's, besides monkeys, might react to being sent up into space. The wolf pup has gone through tests such as zero gravity chambers and simulations, including when a rocket blasts off, breaks the sound barrier, how the body reacts to different speeds, all that jazz. But during a late night research project, the lab caught fire due to chemicals that were left out. The place was shut down, and Ground knew that they would ship him off to a zoo, so he escaped. He wears his dog tags, though, to remember his home.

Groundpup was padding around camp, the fact that he was in Earth's natural gravity making his body feel heavy. He had never been on normal ground for so long before. Usually his Keeper would have put him in the zero gravity chamber by now. He began to hop around, seeing if that made a difference. Nope. If anything, it made him feel even more heavy. He frowned and sat on his haunches, letting out an exasperated sigh. This was going to take some getting used to. The only connection he had with space now was the stars that come out every night, but sadly for him, it was about noon. Perhaps his experiment would have been more enjoyable if he tested it in the dark. Then maybe he'd feel different about this upsetting conclusion. |

He was already starting to get a liking for some of his clanmates, seeing that some were very open and friendly towards him, "I was just testing the gravity here. It's a lot different than back at home." He informed her eagerly after she had asked of his activities. It wasn't everyday that someone was interested in his strange tests. Some just wrote him off as some human's pet right away, when in reality, his past was a bit more complicated than that. |

Upon the request, Groundpup would hang back a bit to wait while Sky caught his breath. He looked really worn out, and he had to wonder what had happened to him? Having recently just joined, he didn't know much about everyone here yet. But he wanted that to change soon. The wolf pup's ears perked, though, as he mentioned something about someone being a traitor. Oh, how he hated that! Yes, they thought they were so smug, betraying their clan, thinking they could get away with it. They were dead wrong. |

Groundpup seemed to let out a huff at that rule. He didn't like being cooped up like this. Back at the academy, he had free roaming when he wasn't being tested. He also couldn't help but notice how many SkyClanners were joining on the tour since they were new here. At least he wasn't the only one, but, of course, he'd only go along for as long as he could due to the law. He'd always obey it, as he had obeyed the laws back home. It was made for their protection, after all. "I'm Groundpup. Pleasure to meet you all."

Well, this looked exciting! Although Groundpup didn't care about winning or losing, he'd just join in on the fun. Also, it might be great excises, and he would keep up on his routines from his previous life. The wolf pup began to run along with his clanmates, his silver gaze wide as he bounded along.

Groundpup kept eagerly wandering around, his nose pressed into the grass as he went, sniffing loudly as he took in the new scents that the park had. It nice, getting out of the building and walking around on the lush vegetation. Raising his head, he saw Puppet and Bo happily rolling around in the green stalks. Grinning, he, too, would roll over onto his back and wiggle around. He had never known what this stuff was, until the academy burned down. |

"Stars are a great way to think whenever you have something on your mind," Groundpup commented, "You get lost in them. They set the mind at peace if you gaze at them for a long period of time, I learned." Groundpup quickened his pace until he wasn't too far behind Bo, Puppet, and Rise. He recognized them mostly, but didn't know who this she-cat was. He felt a bit bad, for he noticed that part of her leg was gone. He had seen other mammals with the same sort of disability. "Hey, guys!" He would call, panting.

Groundpup, bored of just testing the gravitational pull difference, as well as other tests, decided to explore the building further. He had been here a couple days, so why not get the basic lay out of the tower? He knew that most creatures didn't care for going to the higher levels, but he wanted to discover those abandoned floors and see what treasures there might be. When he had climbed up to the sixth floor, he was already panting, hence his short legs bounding endlessly up a large scale of stairways. But this lever seemed to hold a few scattered offices that seemed to hold a few items on the desks. Walking into one of them, the wolf pup hopped up into a black swivel chair that was very soft and squishy. Grinning, he leaned forward to find some sort of tablet lying on the table. He sniffed it for a few moments before placing his paws on it, in which caused the screen to light up. He tilted his head at this, for he never seen such technology before back at the academy. He would keep on sliding his paws against the flat surface until it unlocked further into its contents. Little square icons were positioned in rows, until the pup tapped one of the more colorful ones. He blinked as bright color tones affected his eyes once it opened up. Adjusting, he soon found some sort of yellow.... Blob flying with two red rectangles at the bottom of the screen. With small pads, he tapped one, which gave him a view of the yellow blob flying alone. Twitching an ear forward, he slapped his paw on the screen, in which it would go up a little until it smashed onto the ground. "Ack! Houston, we've a problem!" He cried frantically, not understanding the purpose of the game. |
