"Alone, thank starclan. How long have you been living there?" How have the patrols not discovered him yet?

Hisoka pressed his palms against the side of Akar's head. She fell back, forgetting that she had ever met Rei and anything having to do with the Sohmas. When she would wake up, all she would remember is being back at the motel.

"It-it's fine I can go back and get it myself."

Akari's eyes widened as she fell to the ground. She sat up, rubbing her head and stared wide eyed at the cat. Where had he gone? There was cat-the same cat from earlier, but it couldn't be. He must have left and a cat came...? No, but still it was not possible. "R-Rei, where'd you go?

Emberfrost raised an (invisible) eyebrow. She was still a warrior and would probably have to tell them about him sooner or later. "Okay then...anyways we can't be seen together or ever see each other. At all."

Akari was still unconscious. The next day, she awoke in the motel room. She felt fine, but a part of her felt like something was missing. She climbed off the bed and washed off.

Akari sat at a table inside a sweets shop. She had a cupcake that she bought with the last bit of her money. "Happy birthday." She murmured. Another year had gone by and she was still alone. She made friends here and there but she never got too attached. She looked out of the shoppe window and something- or someone, caught her eye.

Akari caught herself staring at the orange haired boy and quickly looked down. She took several bites of her cake before standing up. She knew him from somewheres. The orphanage maybe?

(Haha, I find it funny how Rei likes sweets when in the anime Kyo didn't like chocolate >W<)

Akari grabbed her bag, ready to go. Just as she was about to leave she turned and walked over to Rei. "Um, hi. I'm Akari."

(Chocolate rocks )

Akari looked down then back up at him. Rei- the name sounded slightky familiar but she had never heard the name in her life. "By any chance- have we met, before?" Akari gave him an awkward smile.

I mean that is in I love chclate...why is there chocolate rocks .0. )

Akari slightly frowned. She swore that she'd seen him before. "Oh, okay." She gave him a small smile. "See you around I guess?" She then turned and exited the shop.

As Akari walked away, she looked over and spotted the orange haired boy. Rei. She watched him as he walked away and continued on her own. She had seen him somewhere...even he claimed they didn't.

"What? No, that's- it's not- This isn't possible!" Her eyes stared wide at him. She sat herself down and din't look at him. She took several deep breaths. She finally spoke in a small voice. "You're a cat."

Akari washed off at an old inn. No one really stayed there anymore, and the staff barely ever checked up on the rooms. She took a quick shower and changed into s set of clothes. She climbed out the window and sat on the fire exit rails, looking out below her.

Akari frowned when she spotted him down there. She sinked behind the curtains, wondering if he had noticed her. Probably not. The fire exit rails slightly creaked but she didn't think anything of it.

The nails on the rail became loosened and a part of the stairs crashed down next to Rei. Akari's eyes widened. She was fine but her feet were dangling off of the window sill(or cill).

Akari quickly closed the window. Luckily, no one came up stairs to check on her.
