With saddle bags packed to the max with memories and other nifty things that may help him through hard times and that might make his hardest times a bit worse, the bigcat flashed a grin towards his friends and stared at the academy one more time before slapping his steed with a massive paw and clinging on as the stallion bolted away at top speed. Little boys teased and messed with the ones they liked so, Rif thought he'd be that way with this particular apprentice. Although his small eyes were completely closed, the kit knew that something had changed. He definitely wasn't in the warm place he had been before, what with the slight movement that kept bothering the youngster. Probably some other kits who had been born in the same litter. Oh well, he'd meet them soon enough.
The newborn kicked at whatever had been moving beside him and let out a tiny mewl before realizing that he too was quite the hungry kitty. Not really caring about the others around him and only seeking the source of food, the kit slowly crawled closer to his mother's stomach, probably kicking one of his siblings along the way.

The large, murky blue kitten sauntered over to his littermates, cold eyes narrowed in the usual fashion. "Guten tag.", came the looming German's voice as he seated himself near his shy raven black brother. Like always, the odd brute had a large frown upon his gray muzzle which gave him even more the intimidating appearance.
