I actually did plan on being Nanase. If it didn't work out I'd flip to a Fullmetal Alchemist character or maybe an Elfen Lied character.

Nice to meet you, I'm Nanase Haruka and I was wondering if I could join this thread...

Age: 17
Personality: I'm somewhat cool, and at certain times can be blunt. I live for swimming and hanging out with my pals, and usually am seen with a calm expression, barely getting angry or seen laughing.
Likes: Swimming, My swimming team, Mackerel, and Dolphins.
Dislikes: Competitive swimming, rude people, being tickled and also being involved in things I have nothing to do with.
Abilities (if any): I'm an amazing swimmer, though I swim for the heart of it, not competively. I am also an amazing artist as seen when I was making posters for our swim team and the Art club nearly stole me.
Extra: Uh... I don't think so, no. Your plot is wonderful on its own.

I sighed, as I walked down the sidewalk of the cold, grey city. It had stopped raining recently, and the power had gone out... I needed to find some way to find Mackerel, my heart was aching for it. It was a slightly cold day... A light gust of wind blew by, causing me to shiver slightly, and goosebumps raise over my neck. I should hurry up, before I catch a cold...

I sighed, my mind was far too deep in the thought of not eating Mackerel... I heard a voice coming from somewhere, the left side of me... Maybe?? I turned to see a girl with strawberry blond hair, pointing at me from a window. Curious... I've never seen her before, what does she want with me?

I sighed, as I looked up the road to notice someone wimpering. "Excuse me..." I call, looking at the small blonde boy... In a certain way, he sort of resembled Nagisa.

I look back at the girl, who seemed to be CERTAINLY calling me now. I stopped, and looked at her quietly. "Yes?"

I tilt my head, breathing silently. "Well..." I said quietly. "I'm Nanase Haruka. I'm a highschool student." He explained. "And my apologies, I was thinking about Mackerel."

"I'm hungry..." I blushed a bit, my stomach growling. "Since the powers out all of the food back home's gone to waste..." I explained.

"I do." I answered Junko's question, and nodded, ruffling Nagisa's hair.
"Yeah, I was trying to play some video games, but then the power went out... Now I can't eat because everything in my fridge is kind of rotting..." I said with a slight hint of disgust in my face, at the thought of the rotten food.
