    Fireclan Autumn Competition

    Cat Name:Fallingleaf, pumpkinfur, spiceblossom,

//Hey guys, I'm really sorry for my absence. I got into a major gymnastics program that is two weeks long and this past week was the first week. I haven't had much time between school and that but hopefully I will be on more this week and even more when it ends next saturday. Major recap? :o :o :o //

ookay thanks. What time of day is it? oh and is hollyspirit pregnant yet?

Frosteye casually gazed around camp, occasionally resting his steely blue eyes on his clanmates. His pale fur glistened under the sunlight and his tail flicked cautiously behind him.

Dewspeckle trotted out of camp, his pale green eyes absorbing his surroundings. He figured he should hunt, considering he had sat around in camp all day. His ears perked and the sounds and smells of the forest swirled around him. His eyes caught on a squirrel nibbling on a nut. He sank to the ground, moving slowly but silently towards the rodent. His behind slightly wiggled and he sprang towards the squirrel, landing squarely on top of it. His head ducked down to make the kill and soon enough the prey was swinging from his jaws.

Violetleaf sat atop a large rock next to the medicine den, where she found herself frequently napping and sunning. Her silver fur shone under the light of day, sending shots of warmth through her lithe figure. Her blue eyes looked around camp curiously.

Ashpaw sat beside the riverbed, the tips of his dark gray fur wet from fishing. He ducked his body with one paw straight out, prepared to swipe at the sight of any fish. A silvery grey figure whipped through the water and his paw shot out, scooping the fish up with his outstretched claws. He set the prey on his slowly growing pile of three fish.

Fawnpaw rolled onto her back, not caring that her fur was rumpled and covered in dirt. Her green eyes gazed up towards the sky, admiring the pale blue tint it held. The cream and brown she-cat hadn't done much all day and was hoping it would continue.

Robinfrost sat on the outskirts of camp, grooming her fiery fur. Her tail was curled around her side as she continued to clean herself.

Softpaw rolled onto her back, her fluffy fur getting rumpled. Her gray and white fur was sticking up in spots and had little bits of moss in it. Her eyes opened carefully, realizing that she'd been sleeping all day. Her blue eyes gazed up towards the roof of the den, contemplating whether or not to get out of her warm nest. Her tail moved gently from side to side as she lifted her aching body up. She pulled herself out of the den, squinting at the brightness of daylight and cringing slightly. Softpaw looked over towards the freshkill pile and felt her mouth water, but ignored it because she hadn't done anything for the clan yet. She sprinted out of camp towards the far edge of the river. She had never been particularly good at forest-hunting and always preferred fishing.

Splashpaw pounced, landing with his belly squishing the small mouse. "mouse-dung," he yelped, cursing himself for his clumsiness.

Lightstep sat perched on a tree, watching the clan bustle about and mingle. She sighed, preferring the shade of the trees and the warrior's den to the burning hot sunlight.

Leafwhisker could feel her strength fading as she let out a weak cough. She attempted to roll herself over but ultimately failed. Her tail lay flat and her eyes shut, lacking the energy to stay open. She let out a final cough and went still, her ear twitching once before laying down. //leafwhisker is basically dead already//

Cloudfoot padded up to Dawnfeather, quietly saying "Your kits are beautiful, you are a lucky cat." He gazed down towards the kits. He had always had a soft spot for kits.

Smallflame slept curled in a ball in the warrior's den, having no idea that it was already daytime.

    "Aww," cloudfoot purred lightly.

Softpaw lowered herself down beside the riverbed, staring intently at the water. She could scent clanmates nearby but ignored it, I couldn't interrupt them she thought. Her paw darted out instantly as she saw a flash of silver move through the water. She scooped the fish out of the water but it slipped out her grasp, flopping back into the water. "Ugh," she said softly, batting the water angrily with her paw, "Why am I so clumsy today?"

Softpaw's ears perked, hearing the voices of Redpaw and Dappledpaw faintly. Oh, she thought quietly before turning her attention back to the water. She focused on the shimmering water, darting her paw out to snatch up a small silvery fish. She gave it a swift bite and set it beside her.

Cloudfoot looked down at brightkit brightly (heheh pun) and purred slightly, "hello little one, what is your name?"

Robinpaw glanced up towards bigrock as goldstar jumped up.

Softstep was laying near the warrior's den, sunning herself quietly. She seemed to be getting larger, bu was unsure of the cause. What if I'm having kits? she wondered, or maybe I'm getting bit fat due to inactivity She sighed and glanced up towards the bigrock, were goldstar seemed to be preparing to address the clan.

Smallflame was sleeping in the warriors den.

Softpaw jumped in surprise, spotting a figure in the water. "Redpaw!" She called down upon recognizing him, "what are you doing?" She let out a light laugh.

Leafwhisker's body lay still in the medicine den.

Cloudfoot looked down at the tiny kit, "hi! I'm Cloudfoot," he said before turning back to her mother. "They are beautiful. I'm sure they will make strong warriors someday."

Smallflame stood, scanning the camp for goldstar. Upon spotting him up on bigrock he called out, "Goldstar! May I take out a border patrol?" He asked, "I thought it'd be good to make sure that there are no foxes or rogues."
