    Body —
Thrinó is a slender, delicate feline--indeed, her frame seems far too fragile for her to survive long. But underneath it all she is surprisingly tough, able to handle just about everything life throws at her. With long hours of practice she's become quite tough and wiry, though will never be muscled and stocky. Her head is finely shaped, ears set at a slight angle off the top, muzzle not too blocky. Indeed, everything about this feline's build practically screams grace and elegance, though perhaps not absolutely perfect.

    Eye color —
Taking a closer look, one would notice something quite startling. One eye--the right--is a dull, mossy shade of green, pale and common. But the other, the left, is two-toned. It's not split perfectly in half--a quarter or so is the same green as the right eye, and the rest is a bright, bright blue. Partial or sectoral heterochromia, in the humans' terminology. Thrinó, of course, doesn't care one way or the other about it, as she can't see it unless in mirrors and calm waters, and it doesn't affect her vision at all.

    Fur color —
Thrinó is a quite complicated feline to describe, even if one is talking about her coloring. Instead of the normal red-black of a tortoiseshell, she's the diluted version of that--blue and cream. There's no rhyme nor reason to the patches of color, although her back is a bit more blueish than her underbelly and legs. Furthermore, she's a smoke, meaning that each individual hair has a white root, and isn't colored all the way through. The effect is hard to tell when she's sitting, apart from a pale ruff, but it's quite noticeable in movement, giving off a sort of 'shimmering' appearance.

    Personality —
rebellious, reckless, independent, jealous, adventurous, secretive, lonely, restless
Thrinó has not escaped the curse of genetics and of her mother's delusions, not by all means. She finds it hard to settle down and control her impulses, but as long as she's constantly moving she has no problem with focusing and concentrating. Her impulses lead her into some pretty dangerous situations, but even if she controlled them she would still be recklessly bold. Having someone tell her pretty much every day of her life that she's not truly alive has led to her desperately wanting to prove that her mother's wrong, and so she goes into every sort of situation imaginable, trying to experience every single bit of life, good or bad. She has been known to deliberately cut or burn herself, under the thought that ghosts wouldn't feel pain. Thrinó, of course, does feel pain, but even so she still is not convinced. This feline throws herself into the worst sorts of dangers imaginable, things that others would at least hesitate at before going in. While she tries to show the world that she is truly alive, unconsciously she also believes deeply in her mother's delusions--so if she's really dead, then all of that stuff doesn't matter to her, because even though she gets hurt, a ghost can't be killed twice.

Congratulations to everyone else! I'll work on Bane's subbie and fancypost and all that tomorrow, as it's really late for me today.

So... is there going to be one joining thread, or are they just filtering in slowly by themselves?

We'd love to have you back, of course! It wasn't just your fault that this died out, everyone just was really busy at that time and... yeah, it really wasn't any specific person's fault. I would love to have everyone back again, but that's likely not going to happen, so I'm going to take whoever I can get!

We should probably make a new plot thread, so it's not cluttered up with old stuff.

I don't know how well it would fit in with the background of the family, but should we open this up to new people, after a while, after our charries find each other again and get settled down?

Since the family is being revamped and brought back, naturally we need a new plot thread. Erm... so yeah, plot away! There's a few questions below that will help shape this. (The informational thread is found here and all other threads from before are linked to through there.)

[li]How are the siblings separated (presumably/ICly they separated, thus causing the 'end' of the family OOCly)? The demons finally caught up and they killed a few (whoever doesn't return) and the rest scattered, lying low until now?[/li]
[li]How should new members be brought in? I'm thinking of opening it up only after the surviving siblings find each other again and find a (most likely temporary, if we're keeping with the original plot) place to stay. But are they other siblings who helped rescue Kratos, but didn't join the main group as they fled? Or did they not rescue Kratos (and so weren't on Hades's bad side) but eventually changed their minds and went to help their siblings? (Or should we just leave that up to the roleplayer, as long as it fits within the plot?)[/li]
[li]Any other questions/comments/concerns? Anything else that needs to be worked on/figured out?[/li]

Westeros or Knights of Eden (have no idea of their new name now, or if they disbanded) were the last, I think. Maybe we should go to a group that needs some activity/'new blood' (even if groups aren't in as much danger of being unboarded anymore)? The Sanctum of Light would provide some good plots simply based on the siblings' backstory....

Okay, so basically there's three options for new members. 1. They helped to rescue Kratos, but somehow (up to roleplayer) got separated from the main group when they fled, and managed to survive on their own. (They could also have found another sibling/s, possibly, and just traveled as a pair/trio.) Maybe because they weren't part of the main group, Hades wasn't as concerned about them and thus sent no demons after them (he'd get to them eventually, but in the meantime he wanted to take care of the majority), or else they simply managed to evade the demons. 2. They didn't help to rescue Kratos, and thus Hades didn't care about them (though maybe they were lightly punished, simply for being in the same family?). Whoever takes this option would most likely be scorned/despised/looked down upon by the others, because they abandoned their brother. 3. They were too young to risk rescuing Kratos and to travel (maybe also anyone with physical deformities would kinda fit in here, if they couldn't fight/travel well enough to keep up?).

I threw in a bunch of random side details that came to mind as I was writing this; do you like/not like/have variations on any of those (the stuff in parentheses). Any other possible options?

Oooh, I'm definitely interested! (In fact, I'm listening to the audiobook right now.)

(By the way, Mauve is supposed to be Maura. ;))

How canon are you making this? Like, is Maura Blue's mother, and will Blue and Adam have a sort-of relationship before he hooks up with Ronan?

Noah piques my interest the most, although I'm also interested in how Chainsaw and Orphan Girl would develop (since they're essentially dream creatures, and not anything truly alive).

Though idk if I wanna add on another character... I took a brief hiatus, then came back intending to have only one or two. Now there's like... three.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; border: 0px; width: 450px;text-align: justify; line-height: 100%]the sanctum has a hella cool name im on board with that idea already

it all looks good to me water, you are so good at this i swear you're the best

That's honestly really surprising to me, since... well, I never feel like I'm all that good at leadership sort of stuff. I'm horrid at social interactions in real life and on here. Though somehow I do usually end up leading groups at school for projects though I think that's because I'm also one of the few who will do everyone else's work if needed just so that I can get a good grade. I have a reputation to protect after all. But yeah, I don't feel like I'm all that good at this.

//So sorry for being late, couldn't get on yesterday at all!

Cold and hunger was all she knew for the first moments of her life. Though there were voices and scents all around her, the tiny kitten cared not at all for those, unless the scent was of milk. She'd tried squirming around towards the warmth, but the distance had seemed endless, and the milk still farther away.
But now the blue tortoiseshell was safe, and fed, and warm. No matter if the one nursing her wasn't actually her mother, nor the fact that her mother thought them all ghosts--this would doubtless be important later on, but for right now the only thing that mattered was her comfort.

Thrinó was glad to see that two of her siblings were already there; at least she wouldn't be alone with people she barely knew. Sure, she ought to get to know them, but since so many were far bigger than her, she'd decided to wait just a bit, just to be on the safe side. The blue tortoiseshell took a seat, but soon was up again, shifting nervously and trying hard not to start wandering around, although movement would definitely focus her mind on the meeting ahead. It was hard to be concentrated on just one thing for a long period of time--she didn't know how others did it.

The kitten had made her way over, somewhat cautiously, seeing as she really didn't want to get caught up in all of the sneezing and coughing and such. While her sister probably did need some company and friendly faces, Thrinó didn't want to get close to her if she was only going to get messy as well. That wouldn't be any fun at all. She had arrived in time to hear the last part of Kris's little speech, which relieved her a bit. Luna would be taken care of, and she'd get better, and that was all Thrinó wanted to know.

Though the blue tortoiseshell didn't say anything, it was clear from her body language that she was very much interested. All those flowers looked so cool, and whatever the Senator was doing with them looked simply amazing! Finally she took a deep breath, swallowing down any nervousness or anxiety--this guy was the leader, after all, and all three were still mostly strangers to her--and opened her mouth to speak. "What're you making there? Could... could you teach me?" Thrinó's words came out more than a little rushed, but hopefully they weren't too jumbled together. It'd embarrass her far, far too much to have him ask her to repeat herself.

The blue tortoiseshell kitten had heard voices from this area, and naturally she was intrigued enough to follow them to their source. She skirted around the other two, not at all prepared for the sight before her. Blood, dirt, a limb twisted in the wrong way... gods. Thrinó couldn't help from instinctively wincing, her paws nervously skittering backwards. This was bad, bad, bad. Why had she ever wanted to come over here in the first place? "I-is she..." Okaywasn't the right word in this situation--obviously the feline was very much not okay. "Going to be alright?" Thrinó squeezed her eyes tight, trying to block out the image.

Thrinó trailed a little behind her brother, looking over Ben's arrangement of bottles and glasses with some interest. She wasn't the type to show her excitement, though, even if she was internally, so the kitten paused, taking in everything. Her tail and ears twitched rapidly the more she looked on, however; she wasn't able to hide her inner emotions very well or for very long. Finally the excitement grew too much to contain, and she burst out, "Can I play too?" It looked like an odd sort of game--mossball seemed way more fun--but it was a game nevertheless.
