Obsidiankit sat near the nursery, happy that she could talk all day and night, and play this new thing - truth or dare, was it? - she didn't know what it was, but it sounded really fun. With an excited smile and a jump in her step, she rose and began to pad around camp, looking for someone to talk to that already wasn't busy with other conversations.

Huh, Juniperkit. Obsidiankit was sure to store the name in her small amounts of files that contained all her life memories, also sure to remember the nickname as well. She found herself to be quite bad with names, often forgetting them or messing up how they are pronounced or spelled or something. It was best that she remembered Juni's name, as to not be a rude kit. Obsidiankit watched with curiosity in her clashing blues as Juniperkit processed the name, and then finally asked for a nickname. To be blunt, Obsidiankit had never met much people, and not much even asked for her name. To them, she was Fharenheit's daughter, or to some, Obsidiankit. The kits eyebrows knotted up in a thinking expression, racking her mind for any usable nicknames. Finally, after a while, she found one. "You can call me Obsidia!"

Her tail seemed to flick at the rock that surrounded the she-cats paws, brushing against the cool stone as it moved and flicked the emotion of boredom. She found herself wanting the urge to run to the outside world before she was an apprentice, just to see what it was like, but she seemed to be against that idea herself. She supposed she wanted it to be a bit of a surprise! something that she could forward to! and it was, it was so etching she could look forward to. But apprenticeship sounded so much better with the surprise of the deep forest.

So, instead of wandering around outside, Obsidiankit sat a bit near the nursery, but just a cat length away from its entrance, blue eyes clashing with her cream, black, and white fur. She just sat there, finding all her normal activities boring, as have already been beaten to death in the number of times played. And all Obsidiankit did to moss balls was destroy them with her claws, and that was bad enough, the queens were already mad at her for taking and destroying so many moss balls. She figured she couldn't take one anymore, and she didn't want to either way.

Obsidiankit watched as her aunt approached her, a smile growing on her face as she stared at the male Timejumper, who was introduced to her. Face beaming with a grin that pricked at her lips, eyes shining like the depths of a blue ocean, Obsidiankit nodded eagerly at the inquiry, head shaking up and down. Parting her maw, she spoke with happiness in her tone. "Yup, that's me! You can just call me Obsidia though, if you'd like, of course!" She meowed, her voice squeaking up to the larger cat.

A smile on her face, the little kit padded from her den, her fluffy, kitten tail high in the air as she jumped and hopped from the confining nursery. She now knew why she had always hated the nursery, it was the feeling of being "caged", as some cats had told her. She never knew what it meant, but she used the word nonetheless. Softly, she made her way to the middle of camp, her pointed features, shimmering in sun that ran onto her fur, her cream being highlighted to white, and her black being highlighted to brown. Softly, she sat, her rump sitting into the dust with a thump as she sat round boredly.

The sun flowed down gracefully, sinking submissively below the horizon and making way for the moon to govern the night. The stars followed it, shining bristly and with passion down on the cats of Thunderclan. The sounds of night carried on the wind, crickets making their prolonged music and owls shrieking as a piece of prey leapt into their sharp talons. The soft melody of the breeze was carried along the forest, whistling throw trees and creating a soft song, a lullaby for the sleepy cats that succumbed to their own respective nests.

However, Obsidiankit found it hard to sleep. She was tired, yes, but she just couldn't close her eyes and fall into unconsciousness. She raised from the nest at her mother's belly, careful not to wake her seven siblings, and leapt from the nursery, eager to see what came after day. The small kit never knew of the night. It was only dusk when she always went in, she figured it would get just a bit darker, then go back to light. But, she figured it out to be untrue. She never actually saw this thing called night, and she figured she would explore by herself.

Slipping into the night, she was surprised at the lack of light, her eyes being unadjusted to such darkness. Softly, after a while her eyes were able to see again, and she was able to venture further. She went out to the middle of camp, and dared to look up. She was amazed by what she saw. A silver flicker cut through the darkness in the sky, followed by smaller, tiny flickers of light, as if bowing to the larger one. It was like a mini, darker sun. She smiled, and glanced at the splashes of colors that also dotted the night sky, of which she did not know the name of. They seemed too be so pretty though, and again, she stared at them for a while her eyes sparkling with delight.

Obsidiankit watched the night sky move and flicker, her blue eyes filled with twinkles as she watched the coolest thing she thought she would ever see. Whiskers twitching as the breeze relentlessly blew at them, the kit turned her head in time to see Chris and Evenngsky, and a smile formed on her face out of glee as Chris asked his question. She responded with a happy reply that came with a bit of confusion, them moved on to Eveningsky's question.

"Hi! What am I doing up? Ah well, I was watching this night thing, and those little twinkly things! What do you call them? Oh, and, yeah, the nursery is really boring!"

Obsidiankit's eyes wandered up to the sky, trailing up from three tops to the bright 'stars', as Eveningsky's called it, and the splashes of color, along with the moon. Now, she had heard about the moon, she wasn't stupid, but it was nice to see it up front and close. A smile prickled at her lips as she stared at the sky, almost missing the words that the males around her spoke form their maws. Glancing around at them, she opened her mouth, letting words roll off her tongue.

It is beautiful! What about that purple and stuff up there? Are those stars too? Or are they the moon?"

She asked, referring to the galaxies above her and the forest.

A soft breeze blew against trees and the camp that stood tall in the heart of Thunderclan territory, buzzes of cats flying through it! as well as the faint gossip, and the gain angry shouts of spars going on. This breeze was one, however, of humidity. Humidity lingered noticeably in the air, acting as if it were the Summer days, instead of Spring. But, Obsidiankit already knew it was going to be Summer soon, and she couldn't wait. People had talked and chatted about the hot, three months of thunderstorms and heat, and how all the bugs came out around that time. And, there were already flies, Mosquitos, and bees on the cats fur, annoying them already.

However, Obsidiankit was already out and about, having already expressed her fondness of the outside world, and how her heart ached severely to become an apprentice so that she could see the forest. Yes, she wasn't going outside. She would follow the rules like a good kitten, although how much she wanted to protest and be rude about it too. Afterall, if so etching angered her, she wasn't afraid to become cold and heartless in a matter of seconds.

Her little kitten pillars carried and all her kitten chub out of the nursery, and she glanced around the camp, looking at all the tussocks of grass, and not seeing one of them unoccupied by a certain bug or two. She sighed, she already knew about bugs, and she hated them already. Annoying and scary if they were flying. She shivered at her mind, pushing the thought about bys out of her mind, and putting it on the fact that it was really hot. Obsidiankit quickly retreated to a shade branch, her head sticking from the shade to look up at the clouds and pick out small shapes in them, deciding she liked the fluffy, flying things.

Obsidiankit was obviously not going to be cooped up in that nursery all day when she had the obvious chance to go outside and explore what the camp could give her, and what the ready skies above would rain down that day. Her kitten chub was carried across the ground as quick as she could, which was very fast. Her legs hadn't grown to be long and muscly yet, so for now, her small, stumpy legs did the best they could for her. In her plights of exploration, she came across a particularly pretty blossom on the other side of a puddle of mud and water, due to the now pouring rain. Obviously, Obsidiankit did not care if she got a cold. Her eyes were fixed on that blue rose sprouting from the earth.

Softly, the kit glanced around for a way across the puddle, the puddle taking up any dry to land to travel across to the flower she ever so desperately wanted. A soft groan came from her maw as she measured the depths of the puddle, and realized that she would probably drown her kitten fluff if she ventured in it, considering the small puddle to be pretty deep due to a dip in the ground. And while she pondered over the flower, her soft pelt kept getting weighed further and further down by rainwater.

Obsidiankit perked her ears as she heard the soft plotting of unsteady paws as a few day old kitten trembled up to her, and sat down a little away from her. The little kit couldn't help but laugh at the infant, a smile on her face as she watched him. He probably couldn't speak at all, but Onsidiankit tried it anyways.

    "Hi there! Who are you?"

She asked, a friendly smile on her face as she glanced down at the fluffy kitten. As the wind blew though, it carried the scent of a familiar cat, and she turned her head to find the cat by the name of Tremorstep sleeping at the base of a tree. She had remembered him from when she had gotten stuck in that trench. Ultimately, it was her mother that got her out, but he still helped a bit. And therefore, she called out to him and beckoned him over, a smile on her face.
