With a quick flick she touched the hovering ball, and instantly her body seized and she dropped to the ground. Light surged through her body and all around her--and a strange noise rippled through her muscles as her body enlarged from her small, feeble frame.
No longer was her fur a jet black, it was golden and spotted. The exhausted creature was now twice her normal apprentice size, and her bone-crushing jaws now drooled with saliva.
A growl arose from Karma's throat, she was no longer a weak cat, she was a fierce, blood-thirsty hyena.
