Samantha || Sam
I heard a slight edge to his voice and I caught his arm, forcing him to turn around. "Axel. Axe, what's wrong?" she asked, a feeling a dread overcoming her at the look on his face.
Raven || Wings
My breathing got more rapid and raged; the gas activating some sort of reaction. Her muscles clenched up and her breath came in little gasps.
-
I'm here too...and I personally like that idea.
-
(okay)
The wound on Raven's arm had not lessened it's bleeding. Her skin became pale and her breathing came in shorter gasps.

Raven looked at Matthew. "Well, I'll take you to your room, then." she said, ignoring his reluctance to let her help. She needed something to do other than squash Nathanial for good this time. She started to tow Matthew towards his room. Once they were out of sight and earshot, she slowed down. "So, what do you want to talk about? I know why you don't want to go to your dorm."
-
Raven narrowed her eyes and nodded. She walked forward again. "Well, you told me all of this, so are you going to help me stop it?"
-
Raven nodded, then looked at everyone. "If I truly can read your thoughts, then maybe I'd be able to figure out what all of your special abilities are.

Well, then...why don't ya post?

Raven stopped to look at Matthew. "Yes, I am talking to you. I know exactly why you don't like to be taken back to your room by someone. But I'm not good at starting conversations." she said, acting as if it was the simplest thing in the world, which, to her, it was.

Raven swung her legs out of bed. She had been awake for more than an hour and was quite glad to get up. Ninat jumped awake and looked around in astonishment. Then the little dragonet shook her head and looked at her captain. Rave got out of the bed and picked Ninat picked, cradling her in her arms. Raven looked at Zoran and Freefall. She felt a smile come to her lips, and she let it stay there for a while.
-
ooookayyy then
-
Raven noticed something at the edge of her sight, but when she looked over, it was just a boy around her age walking by. She didn't know if he had been listening to Matthew or if he was just going to his dorm or some other place. So she dismissed the strange feeling in her gut. Then her attention went back to Matthew. "That's fine, usually whenever someone tells me a story, they add way too much detail and it makes the story boring." an actual, real, not forced smile came to her lips, and she knew the smile would show in her voice as well. "It could be interesting to know what it's like being you."
-
Raven looked away when Zoran smiled at her. She got up with Ninat following. The dragonet ignored the rabbits and stayed by Raven's side. They had become very attached and rarely left each other's sides. Raven gave Ninat a few pieces of bacon, then got a rabbit for her. Ninat ate them slowly as if savoring the flavor, just as Raven was doing with her food.
-
Raven contemplated over what Mia had said, then she nodded. "Mia, you're right. I shouldn't try to find out anything yet. Maybe someone will come and explain everything." she lowered her voice. "That and I don't know what I could do to them." she had meant to say it under her breath, but she didn't know if anyone had heard her or not. She really hoped that no one had been paying attention.

(sorry, i was busy)
Ninat stayed tense, her eyes on the pool of shadows that had once been a figure. She didn't take her eyes off of it as she took a step back. Her eyes narrowed to slits as her mind flowed back to when she was little more than hatchling in her nest.
(start of flashback)
Ninat blinked open her eyes to the bright morning sun. Her mother and father were soaring in the sky, searching for food. She watched the with wonder, and her wings spread out instinctively. She crept to the edge of her nest and looked down. The canopy of leaves no longer frightened her. A small gust of wind caught in her wings and propelled her forward. Her wings spread out fully as she was nudged out of the nest by the wind. She floated there for a moment, then slowly started to drift forward and down.
Her mother came to her and smiled her toothy grin. "Flap your wings, dear." she coaxed.
Ninat gave a tentative flap of her thin wings. She raised a few inches. She flapped again, this time stronger, and rose a few feet. Her excitement overtook her moment of shock. She angled herself upwards and flapped her wings, vaulting into the air. Then she let herself drop. She spread her wings out when she reached her mother.
Her mother opened her mouth to say something as a roar of anger and pain sliced through the air. Ninat's head snapped up to see her father plummeting to the ground. Her mother cried out to him and started to fly to him. But then a shadow in the form of a dragon appeared in front of her, looming over her. Just as Ninat cried out to her mother, the shadow sliced its claws along her mother's under belly.
Ninat could not see the wound, nor hear her mother's cry of pain. All she could hear was her own screech of agony. Seeing her mother killed was like a clawed slap in the face.
Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell towards the leaves below. Just before the darkness took her, she saw a dragon, a real one, grab the shadow and throw it into a wall of rock. Then the dragon flew after the falling dragonet.
(end of flashback)
Tears ringed Ninat's eyes as she growled at the shadow.
