Growling under his breath is all the reaction that came from him. Ignorance and irritation followed the series of emotions flooding through his kind. 'There had to be a way to get away and go after the lion!' Drift yelled inside his thoughts. He knew if he were to go back and get his wounds in check the rest of the dogs would go after the lion instead and make sure he would stay in the med den or at least the nursery to stay out of trouble and for the rest he really did need. There was also the possibility of sneaking out again only Drift knew well enough the dogs would keep a closer eye on him this time. Drift couldn't take any risks. Drift slowly walked backwards and waited a few seconds when he began to bolt and ran.

I sighed once more when I noticed two dogs a bit a ways from the group. It was Dobby and Pixie. They looked nice and they could be fun to hang out with. I only smiled than stopped the force from drawing me near to go up to Dobby and Pixie. I had just joined the pack not to long ago and still didn't know much of the members. This had to be a good impression. I continued to walk toward them when the most predictable thing that always ruined everything occurred. Of course there was a rock sticking out to only be covered in green brush blocking it from view. I only tripped and tumbled over in the middle of the two. My eyes began to blink rapidly as I lay in the middle of the two. 'Hi?' I say awkwardly about to go in a corner and only face-paw(facepalm) myself.

The huge hound turned to the nipped dog with only large fangs and devilish dirty looks. 'Hi Shelter!' He called trying to make the situation normal when he winced a bit from the intimidating look the hound was giving Shelter as the fangs dug harder into his body, 'Oww watch the fur and Shelter it might be kind of helpful if you don't anger this big guy. His fangs are kind of digging into my skin so yea...' He added as he felt the small prickles of blood drop down his spine.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

The hound only grunted in exhaustion and let go of Drift suddenly packing huge punch into Drifts stomach, 'Wow that's gonna hurt in the morning,' he commented still not letting his humor subside at the inappropriate times. The hound walked off moving on the trail. He must have been a rogue, a confused rogue at that, but still to leave so easily was the question Drift could let go. With. Shake of the head to get out of the day dream Drift only smiled to Shelter. 'Thanks Shelt! Hope you don't kid the nickname!' He called talking as if he had known Shelter his whole life and he had not almost been captured by a stray dog. 'Call me Drift! I will tell you that's not my real, but you'll never guess what it is. So wasn't that just fun with the hound actions? Got to say that man that was fun to watch when you've practically got front row seats only I got to participate!' Drift commented rambling on as he usually did when the small soon to be trainee got a bit out of it caught up in his imagination.

    Dying won't be the surviving,
Surviving will be the way dying

ionly made a slight smirk when it quickly turned into a greeting and gentle smile. This was quite unusual and In the back of my head I could of sworn their was my inner self yelling at me for such infernal behavior. This of course was not my call to make. Might as well give the Sunclanners a break from my sarcastic and rude ways for a day. Sure at the back of my mind where the shadows lurked were a few disagreeing points that brought bitter taste to my mouth, but hey that was all I really had to deal with at the moment. 'I'm Taunt and I'm well known for my irritating rude comments and bright white fur!' I called just smiling to the others who only looked at me as though I had gone crazy or been possessed by the good witch of the south, Glinda. True this was a weird comparison, but I remember a Twoleg ready this book called Wizard of Oze and it was a pretty interesting flipping bark tree thing.

Drift ran and ran continuing down the path as he squinted his eyes as the wind blew through his course flashing blue eyes. Drift continued to race down the death when he came to a complete stop with the impact of biting his lip hard. Sure it left a stinging pain, but Drift was to concentrated on other things to notice the small litter patters of his blood being swallowed down his throat. The scent or aroma was caught in the air of the so called predator. 'That lions scent his still fresh...' Drift muttered when he looked all around him in search for a lion or whatever had that smell.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

I turned to Emma escaping the small opening of space between Dobby and Pixie. 'I'm dust...Drift the names Drift!' He corrected himself not wanting to reveal his true identity to the female dog. 'And you are Emma? Right? I overheard some of the other dogs call you that,' he added trying to explain himself without making Emma think he was some sort of stalker or spy.

    OCC
Nope I've got this really cool idea in mind. Yes it will nearly kill Drift, but not enough.

Drift continued to search only he just laid down and gave up tucking his face in his paws. Maybe it was right for being suck a pathetic dog. He couldn't do anything right and everyone thought down of him. Out of all the things he'd down it didn't matter because he was still a pup. No one would take him seriously. He had to earn the respect he deserved. It may be hard to earn others respect, but once it is earned do not forsaken it and keep it precious for it is hard to obtain, but can be lost in an instant. Drift got up and continued to walk in the direction that was drawing away from the murderous predator.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift nodded to himself. Even though Russet didn't see Drifts acknowledgment, he felt like he knew it would occur anyways. Drift continued to run when he began to hear the voice of his pack from a far. 'I'm almost caught up!' He muttered than began to quicken his pace at the wrong time. Drift kept going only his clumsiness took into action. The soon to be trainee tripped over his own front paws knocking himself over slamming right into a nearby boulder which only knocked the wind right out of him. 'Oh....dang,' he snapped trying as hard as he could not to swear. Blistering pain was the only thing he could keep his attention on as it continued to pulse miserably. This was an unexpected plot twist...

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift continued walking off when he dug his one claws unto the ground. The scent was getting stronger only he wasn't moving anymore. This was not how it was suppose to go. The predator had the element of surprise in his paws and Drift was the prey or at least the prize to the mountain lion at the end. Drift first experienced fear, than bits of courage trying to flood the fear, but it was only a matter of time before Drift ran realizing for once he had not thought this through well enough and he was going to die.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift began to grit his teeth hard trying to pull away the pain and suck in any emotions that would cause him to disperse water from his eyes. This was ridiculous and Drift knew it too. He had to get up and fulfill in the way on how he really is. To show everyone how he lived up to his name. Drift got up slowly attempting to shake off the pain inside. He looked down to see a huge patch of red building up against his flank. Sure the pain killed tremendously, but Drift limped wincing with every step he took. Even without having the chance to catch up to the group, at least he knew where the pack usually settled.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Thats totally ok spott and I actually just realized I put the wrong picture for him. Sorry this is what he really looks like.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift looked at Chase than back at Shelt, 'Uhh thanks Shelt and I'm ok Chase. Just me being a cluts again,' Drift lied. Of course he wasn't ok! There was a ton of blood dispersing from his flank and now Drift realized there was red also from the bottom of his back left paw. As usual though Drift only smiled acting all perky being very good at hiding the truth that was insanely eating him away. Drift was sucking it in and he would probably feel the after affects of his lying punishment in the morning.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift only sighed trying to stand and still as possible. The glum expression on his face though told another story on how impatient he really was. The feeling of the female telling him what to do was unnerving. He liked to roam free and do as he please, but while Shelt was around that wasn't a possibility. Drift shrugged and kept still not really wanting to feel the pain worsen. It was bad enough that it continued to strike up his paw than corse through his entire body. (Modified) Drift turned to Chase straightening his posture and stiffening up so he could look a bit larger than he really was. 'I'm fine really just in a little pain no worries here,' he firmly said trying to act tough to live up to his name once again. Sure it wasn't his real name, but it had to be now since he couldn't go back to the life he once knew.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift continued to run as the scent slowly faded it would regain its strength and brush through with new scents of followence. Drift for once was frightened and he was showing it. He had always been taught to let go of fear and welcome courage to fight for what you believe in and what life you have been given. In this situation it was like his mind had gone blank and he was just screwing the pathetic face spitting in its face. Drift finally realized that he cared to live. All living things wanted to live and this entire time Drift didn't care. Now the Siberian Husky knew what it felt like to face death right in the face as it told him he would join it soon.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift only rolled his eyes at Russets comment. He continued to smile when he realized what Shelt said. Drift didn't want anywhere to belong. He was only in this clan because it was better than being chased by whom he was hiding from. Whenever he belonged somewhere it was always destroyed. When he cared for another dearly they always got hurt. Drift didn't eat it only swat it to the ground and ran.

    Dʀɪғᴛ

Drift looked up at the lion in shock. There was no chance of survival so Drift decided to only make the most of it. He sucked the fear in no matter how much it frightened him and dug his claw into his paw to focus on something else. 'Wow that took you a while to find me, do you still have a few bite marks that I shed on you? Hope they are still there so I can increase the burn,' he snapped. Finally full of fury and eagerness to ridicule and destroy the mountain lion.
