Mimi gave a yowl as a sharp pain burst in her tail. She turned, but a large force may her tumble backwards. She blindly hit outwards, for she had closed her good eye. She turned and saw a large tree, and Mimi ran up it. Her attacker, a fox, was hesitant about climbing the tree.

Mintnose looked lost after he had walked away. Did I say something wrong? What if he hates me? What if I offended him somehow? What If he won't ever talk to me again? Oh no!
Brownfeather trotted over to Mintnose. "Stop worrying."
"Huh?" Mintnose muttered as she jerked out from her thoughts.
"Stop worrying. It won't help."
-
No problem! Always happy to help :3
-
Mimi cowered in the tree as the fox made a few steps up the truck, getting a feel for the tree.
-
Mintnose turned. "Oh, Sandpaw! You really shouldn't be up. Please, go and lie down some more. I'll talk to you there." She walked ahead of Sandpaw, disappearing into the medicine cat den. She sat down next to the bedding made up for Sandpaw.
-
IC: Sandpaw laid down shaking her head a little bit "Who was that?" She asked looking at the she-cat. She laid on her back not wanting to lift her head or more her flank in which could tear open easily.
"That was Nettle." Mintnose mewed, laying down softly. With a sigh she said, "He just joined the clan, though I did not get a chance to talk to him about his name yet..." Mintnose closed her eyes for a moment, exhausted by the day. Helping everyone recover from a battle was hard, and there wasn't a single moment to lose. But even when relaxing, thoughts of Nettle came to her mind. She shook her head slightly before opening her eyes again. These thoughts were getting kinda ridiculous.
-
"I don't." Mintnose replied, looking the apprentice in the eyes. "It's just that..."She stood up slowly. "I don't know what to think about him..."She got up to organize some of the herbs that fell out of place. "He is just new, different. That's all." Turning back to the apprentice, she quietly mewed, "Besides, if I should have a crush on anyone, why would it be an outsider that I just met?" Mintnose walked over to the entrance and stretched her legs. "Try to rest. I'm going to see how Redpetal and the kits are doing." And with those final words, she absconded to find the queen.

Character Name:
Mintnose
Character Age:
15 moons
Gender:
Female
Alliance:
Tricksterclan
Rank:
Medicine cat
Appearance (6 or more sentences):
Mintnose is a dark ebony-colored cat with a lick of white on her chest. Her bright green eyes are the reason she started as Mint. Her fur is short, but fluffy and has a bad habit of sticking out if not properly groomed. Mintnose is slightly short-sighted; perfect for looking at herbs, but not helpful for anything else. Mintnose is a Ragdoll, Munchkin, American Shorthair mix. Her short, dense, and fluffy fur is from the Ragdoll, and her large ears and long tail is from the shorthair. The Munchkin contributed to smaller legs, almost looking misplaced on a full grown cat.
Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):
Mintnose is very kind toward all of the clan, though she can be too open to outsiders. She is soft-spoken and because of that, she feels often ignored. Her compassionate heart makes her a good medicine cat, and she often helps out kits or apprentices with punishments. Mintnose is always on the side of peace, mostly because it makes her job easier and she can teach Foxpaw, her apprentice more thoroughly. She loves listening to other cats, and trying to help them find solutions. In fact, she thinks that is part of the job of a medicine cat; healing emotions as well. Mintnose also spends any extra moment with the kits in the nursery. To her, they never have enough cats to play with.
---Likes (at least 3):
Thistlecloud and Loyaltykit are two of her favorite cats as well as quiet walks by herself and listening to others talk.
--- Dislikes (at least 3):
Mintnose dislikes pointless fighting as well as when cats interrupt others. She also does not like low morale and when cats are close-minded.
---Strengths (No MORE than 5):
Mintnose can be very sneaky and remember small details, but her strengths end around there. The one she notices the least, helping others, is the one most cats notice first.
---Weaknesses (At least 3):
Her nearsightedness makes looking far distances blurry and really hard for her, so she relays on her hearing. She hates fighting and so she lacks the abilities to do so as well as hunting snakes is particularity hard.
History (8 or more sentences):
When she was only 3 moons, Mintnose, named Mint at the time, lived in a small nest with only her siblings and mother. Everyday when her mother left, the kits were supposed to sleep. One day, Mint deiced she wasn't tired and went out to play. After a while, when her mother was supposed to get back, Mint headed back only to hear shrieking from their nest. A fox had gotten into their den and was killing her siblings. Frozen with fright, Mint stood still in the tall grass. Her mother sprung forward and the fox retreated. Mint's mother was so grief-stricken she chased down the fox and little Mint followed. Her mother attacked the fox and lost, for rage fueled her fighting, making her sloppy. Now Mint was alone in the world. She then ran into a larger tom name Feather who told her about a band of cats who lived together and protected each other. The two took a 3 moons trek to the territory where Mint met Sharkstar. Mint became Mintpaw and was raised as a medicine cat. 4 moons later she became Mintnose, because whenever someone went to see the small apprentice, she had herbs stuck to her nose.
Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio):
Mintnose strolled into the soft morning light and stretched. It was a warm summer morning and the world was already alive and moving. She had been counting the herb piles yesterday and the tansy had been slightly lower then she remembered. Mintnose watched a mentor wake a lazy apprentice and scold them for missing the dawn patrol. The green-eyed she-cat debated talking Foxpaw with her, but decided to go by herself. Mintnose padded out of camp, ready to find some tansy and begin her day.
Comments (optional): -
Mintnose padded over to where Silentstar and Redpetal where. She leaned down to be eye level with the kits. "Look at how cute you all are!!" She said quietly. "Can I somehow play with you?" Mint nose didn't think the kits should even have the chance to overhear their mother and queen and leader. It wasn't what any of them needed to hear.
-
OOC: Okay I'm sooo sorry I should have been here for this as a medicine cat. It would have flowed better. Sorry!
Ic: Mintfeather came back from collecting herbs to find the cats surrounding Stonekit. "What did I miss?" She asked softly, walking slowly over, fearing the worse. Mintfeather knew that Stonekit had a bad heart with frequent heart palpitations and probably wouldn't make it to warriorhood.
-
Mintnose bent down and helped the kit up with her muzzle. "There, better?" She asked softly. The kits were so innocence and had seen so little of the world. It almost made her sad.
-
"I-Is he..?" Mintfeather trailed off. She already knew the answer but hoped they would tell her different. She had always loved seeing the small kit in her den.
-
Mintnose turned to Silentstar and joined the conversation, "I can get some from my den.." Her sentence dragged away as she found that Nettle had walked over. Oh, Oh no.
-
Mintfeather collapsed next to the small kit's body. She buries her nose into the fur.
-
Mintnose looked up like coming out of a trace. "Wha..?" She looked around, confused. "Oh, yeah! Since you are part of a clan, Nettle, I thought that you should have a clan name!" She smiled slightly at the end, looking hopefully at Nettle.
-
"Stonekit... Is dead." Mintfeather muttered into the fur.
-
Mintnose could feel that all the tension was gone between them. "Something with nettle in it..." She sat in thought for a few minutes. Her tail swished thoughtfully back and forth. "How about Thistlepelt? Thistlefur? Ooh! Thistlecloud?"
-
"Yes! I think Thistlecloud suits you," Mintnose responded cheerfully. She turned and noticed Sandpaw out again. I shouldn't worry. Apprentices are always up before they are supposed to. Turning back to Nettle she smiled, softly.
OOC: I just realized that I said 'something with Nettle in it' and then proceeded to list names with 'thistle' in it
-
Mintnose, who had turned to watch the kits, looked back up at him. "Oh, really? That'd be great. We just had a nasty run-in with some other cats, so the cobwebs and tangy supply is low. " Mintnose scrunched her eyes closed as she thought.
-
Mintfeather listened intently to Silentstar. When he mentioned that Shadowleaf was a medicine cat and then died giving birth to kits, it reminded Mintnose about what her mentor used to say. A medicine cat's clan is her kits. She felt a little guilty but shook it off. But it's not like that. I don't even know much about Thistlecloud. She chased the thought from her mind by saying, "They sound wonderful."
