Monahã is a place hidden high in the mountains. It is a place shrouded in mystery and magic. It is a place where those who posses the magic within them can train. Some Mages are born within the borders of Monahã, and other times they come from other places to train. Monahã is a large valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains. A small village lies within the valley, where all the Mages live and train. There are spaces for practice for every Mage.

Everyone has magic inside of them. However, Mages are those who posses the ability to tap into that inner magic and draw it out. There are six different Mages that one can become: a Fire Mage, a Water Mage, an Earth Mage, a Sky Mage, a Light Mage, or the rarest of all, a Shadow Mage. Each type of Mage often fits with that certain person's personality. Those who live in Monahã are trained to become a Master of their element. There are Master Mages of each Element to teach the Mages-in-training. However, there is one catch to being a Mage: using your power uses your life energy. If you use too much of your energy, sever consequences will follow. The worst cases that have been documented are when a Mage uses up so much of it's life energy, they are killed.

A Fire Mage is often one who is hot-headed, a little quick-tempered, but will protect those they call friends with unheard of ferocity. They control the fiery spirit inside them, and generate it into flames.
A Water Mage is often one who is calm, collected, and cool-headed. They are great strategist, but can be a little indifferent to others. They control their calmly flowing spirit inside them and generate it into water.
An Earth Mage is often one who is peaceful, tranquil, and kind. They don't like to fight, but are very fierce when angered. They control their gentle spirits inside them and generate it into anything of the earth.
A Sky Mage is often one who is free-spirited, and lets their imaginations soar. They aren't very down-to-earth people, and are very playful. They control the playfully kind spirit inside them and generate into winds.
A Light Mage is often one who is incredibly kind-hearted, and always does everything in their power to follow the path of goodness. It is very hard to get them to do anything wrong. They control their good spirits within them and generate it into light.
A Shadow Mage is often one who is quiet, brooding, and keeps to themselves. They are often misunderstood, being mistaken for cold and uncaring, but are actually very kind. They control the shadows they know, and accept, lie within them, and generate it into the power to control darkness/shadows.

One last thing on Mages: Shadow Mages are EXTREMELY rare, so I'll only let a few people become them. Please PM me to ask if you can make a Shadow Mage before you make one.

Name: Megan Ryder
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Megan is a quiet person who often keeps to herself. She enjoys exploring the nearby mountains surrounding the valley of Monahã. She also loves to read, and can often be found reading under a huge oak tree out in the back of Raven's yard. If you can win Megan's friendship, she is extremely loyal, and the bond of friendship will be nigh unbreakable. She is very kind, and normally willing to lend a helping hand to others. Megan is also very stubborn and once she sets her mind on something, it's nearly impossible to change it. She is very diligent in her training, and wants to become a Master Shadow Mage as soon as she can. Megan is also fond of animals, and can sometimes be found with one by her side. Her best animal friend is a creature called a Nightmare horse named Nevermore. A bit surprisingly, Megan is also very protective of the few she calls friends, and will go through anything to protect those close to her.

History: Megan is an orphan, whose only known family is her older brother, Ryan. She has no memories of her parents, and no memories of her past before Monahã. Her first memory is that of a small child waking up in the house of Raven, a Master Shadow Mage, who will become her teacher. Megan grew up under Raven's caring wing, and looks up to her a lot. Megan hopes that she will be able to become a person like Raven is.

Personality: Ryan is a very fiery and outgoing person, the exact opposite of his sister. Ryan is quick-tempered and hot-headed, and sometimes a little quick to judge. However, if you look past these things, you'll find a good-hearted person at the core. Ryan will protect those he care for with a fire's ferocity, and is mostly kind. He can be a bit mischievous at times, but is a really fun person to be around, and is a great friend.

History: Ryan is an orphan, whose only known family is his younger sister Megan. His earliest memory is, like Megan's, waking up in Raven's house as a small child. He knows nothing of his past, and wishes he did. Ryan's goal in life to find out who his parents are, why they abandoned him and Megan, and how he got to Monahã Valley.

Personality: Raven is a quiet and caring teacher, who always does what she can to help her students. She is a very good listener, and tries to help out where she can. When Raven is angered, she has a fierce temper (mostly likely inherited from her grandfather, a Fire Mage), but normally calms back down very easily. Raven is one of the best teachers in Monahã, and is a good friend.

History: Raven has lived in Monahã Valley all her life. She was born, raised, and trained in Monahã. However, at one period during her life, she disappeared from the valley. No one knew where she had gone. Raven eventually came back..with Megan and Ryan. No one knows where Raven was during that time, or how she found the children. It was always been a mystery.
