She smelled cats. Cats who could help her. Aprilpaw slowly made her way to the entrance, failing to make the last few steps. The cream and white she-cat had collapsed, the pain in her side flaring. Please tell me they'll help me! She thought desperately, watching some of her own blood trickle onto the ground.

Giving a tiny whimper, Aprilpaw struggled to her paws. "I-I'm Aprilpaw." She said softly.

"Well, I used to be a kittypet, yes." Aprilpaw mewed softly. "And then, when I was outside, these bigger cats came and just... chased me away, but," She paused to inhale, "not without giving me a 'good scratch'." She finished with a light whimper.

"G-go back? When the cats are still lurking there?" Aprilpaw whimpered with a small shiver of fear overtaking her body and causing excruciating pain in her side.

Aprilpaw cried out as the poultice was rubbed into her wounds.
