(color, color, color... Mine is aqua, white, black
She stopped him again.
"Really, because it doesn't seem like it. And I'm just going go say it... I'm not ok with it. I like you, Duststorm. Or at least I used to. But now, it's like... u've changed! Ever since the battle u've seemed so serious all the time and it's like u've been ignoring me."
She sighed, the weight of secrets lifted from her shoulders.
-
(OH YEAH I totally forgot they were cousins XD And yes it would be a good idea to make another formvbut it doesnt need to be too detailed)
"Are you sure?" Star asked, sitting upright and perking her ears. She did hear voices. "Fox dung!"
Lizardtail's eyes widened and stared at her, beginning to freak out.
"Really? Oh my StarClan this is not a good time..." he began to pace before coming back to her and trying to confort her. "Is there something I can do...." he asked nervously.
Bat heard the kits talking. He went faster until he crashed into the clearing where his kits where paying around. "Kits! What are you doing out here!?" he growled, stomping over to his kits. He grapped Water by the scruff amd threw her on his back, then grabbed Star's scruff.
"Moon, get Ripple," he said through the furr. He began to stomp home.
-
"Why not?" she asked quietly.
-
Star shrieked in protest.
"What do you think you were all doing out here?" Bat growled.
Star quivered and made herself as small as she could in her father's jaws.
"We were just playing outside..."
"We were all worried sick about you!" It was silent for a moment.
-
"Yeah," Star mewed, nodding quickly.
"So you were going to do something naughty and then pretend like nothing ever happened? That's not much better."
-
"He is in trouble," Bat reassured Water, signalling to Moon who had Ripple in her jaws.
"But Ripple shouldn't be in trouble," Star mumbled under her breath.
"Huh?"
"Ripple shouldn't be in trouble," Star said louder. "He didn't want to come. We forced him to."
Bat nodded.
"Ok I'll make sure he doesn't get in trouble but you two..."
Star shivered, not excited for her punishment.
-
Shalekit wiggled his hindquarters and pounced on the feather, putting it in his teeth and raising his head as his father called to the Clan from outside. He bounced around his mom, giving begging eyss with his catch still in his jaws.
-
Star trembled.
"Sorry Mommy."
Lizardtail nodded, worried. He curled around her and licked between her ears to comfort her. (We can skip through the birth but how many kits are born including the dead ones?)
Bat nodded in response to his mate's words. As they made there way into the den Bat saw Heathershadow, more stressed than ever, with Lizardtail trying to comfort her.
"Are the kits coming?" he said quickly, setting Star down and letting Water off of his back.
Lizardtail nodded, worried.
"Oh my StarClan," Bat responded, also worried now.
Star watched with wide eyes, then began jumping around with joy.
"I'm going to have a best friend!"
(Also, what gender should the next kit be?"
-
She heard his voice and tried to find him.
"Where are you?" she called.
-
(Maybe we should do Dusk since there are already two girls and only one boy...)
Lizardtail's eyes began to wet with tears.
"I, I think they all might be stillborn..." he murmured.
Star stared, then leaned over to her mom.
"What does stillborn mean?" she asked quietly.
Bat slouched, looking at the still kits. Then suddenly he saw one of the five move.
"Wait, one's still alive!" he said happily.
Lizardtail raised his head and saw the kit, a gray tabby Tom, squirming around.
"He's alive!" he exclaimed, grabbing the kit and putting him in his paws, beginning to lick between his ears.
-
Shalekit nodded quickly, happy for his sister being his voice.
-
She ran through the trees until she crashed into him, falling to the ground. She quickly got back up and looked at Duskflight happily.
"You can walk!" she exclaimed.
-
She was still confused about where she was with Duststorm, so that night she curled up outside with her sister, not Duststorm.
-
Shalekit kept giving his mother begging looks.
-
Icesky awoke as well and woke up her sister.
"Can me and Maplestream go hunting together?" she asked Duststorm, completely normal. On the inside, she was hurting. She didn't understand what his deal was, he said they shouldn't be mates but he was always upset. She knew she needed to talk to him, but until she did, they needed to act normal.
-
He drew in a shocked breath, drawing back quickly. He shook his head fast.
-
"We can run around and be free here!" she shouted, running in circles, up in down trees.
"We can let out all of our secrets and be who we really are!" she called from a top of a tree, looking down on him. Her paw slipped and she fell, crashing on top of Duskflight. She quickly rolled off of him and found them both on their sides, facing each other. Midnightwing stared into his eyes, slowly and instinctively curling her tail around his.
-
Lizardtail filled back with grief as he looked at the 4 beautiful, limp bodies that could have been amazing kits.
"We have one strong survivor," he said sadly.
Bat nodded, also grieved.
"What does stillborn mean?" Star asked Moon again.
-
Shalekit nodded, then squirmed out of his mom's grasp and began playing with his feather again.
-
He was surprised when his mother took his feather, but then he wiggled his hindquarters and leaped into the air, completely missing the feather. He ran over to her and began climbing on top of her.
