— FIRST The origination of Gunner is Swedish and American -there's not a particular origination that has been traced back into history. Her full name is from her grandfather who was named Gunner since his parents wanted him to literally grow up to be in the military. Her father was named after him, and now Gunner is next in line. Gunner really is bland, in fact. It simply means "battle strong" or alternatively "battle born", even possibly "battle worthy". It has a few meanings that trace back from Swedish origins that generally mean something about battles and being a warrior. That's basically it.

NICKNAMES "Depends who's asking," The female responds, a hint of disinterest laced into her tone. Her arms cross over her chest while she thinks long and hard, but seems to come to no 'eureka!' moments. "Meh, I've got nothing. Some might call me Guns, but it's just Gunner to you." Despite her short answer, she does not mention the fact that some often times call her Brightside, due to her rather positive view on things. Gunner looks like she's in her mid or early twenties, though she is only eighteen years old.
GENDER Gunner has always identified as female. She sometimes gets a feel of gender fluidity, but not enough to actual consider herself gender fluid. She does, however, feel not as feminine as some others - in fact, she often feels slightly masculine.

APPEaRANCE
At a glance, Gunner is a scrawny and slightly built girl with a mop of messy, layered raven hair, a vibrant smile and ecstatic russet brown almond eyes. Her long eye lashes are possibly one of the most noticeable details when you take a look at her. She's pretty tiny height-wise, and seems to be actually lanky under those many layers of clothing. Her porcelain skin seems to be well taken care of, but bags are usually heavily set under her eyes due to frequent exhaustion and visits from her friend Insomnia.

Then, we get specific. Gunner is 5" 1/2 - ask her about her height and she'll probably giggle about it, then ask you to reach the book from the highest shelf. She weighs around 90-100 pounds, since she isn't particularly an eater - when she eats, it's small meals filled with healthy choices usually. The aforementioned well taken care of skin seems to have flecks of light freckles and way too many scars. In fact, when she habitually tucks a lock of hair behind her right ear, you'll find a splice in the top of her ear. She tends to wear tank tops that show off her sleeves of tattoos - if you're lucky, she'll wear shorts that sport the vibrantly colored tattoos down her thigh.

Gunner is pretty simplistic overall. Gunner's clothing style can be seen as grunge, punk or DIY. Gunner loves sewing patches on her stuff, chopping off sleeves and basically whatever you can think of. By far, her favorite thing to do is cut graphic shirts and put the front design on the back of flannels or hoodies, as well as wear oversize jackets and litter them with random patches and buttons. Like, I have a few dresses that I wear to special occasions but nowhere else. I'm not the biggest fan of shorts. And regular, plain tees aren't my thing either, sometimes.. This probably doesn't make any sense. But whatever, you know? Anyway. There's really not a label for what I wear. Like .. tomboyish, I just rolled out of bedish, I'm going to go mosh at some shady underground concertish, I'm going to a wedding but I'm the only one wearing all black like a funeralish. Or like, I haven't slept in seven days and all I do is listen to Nirvana and Siousxie and the Banshees. I don't know. It's hard to explain, my buddy. But anyway, I also like to fuck with androgyny sometimes. If people are going to question my gender, so be it. If I want to dress like a dude, I'm going to. "

Regarding her fashion inspiration, "Growing up, I looked to people like, uh, Joan Jett, and stuff. And where I grew up, there was a huge underground punk seen. When I was little, like, a few years old little, my dad would dress me up like a son, and I guess, I mean, that's all I've really know, you know? I grew up with the punk mentality, looking to Joan and old girl rockers. But also, I'm kind of the kid that goes to hot topic every week. But I go to forever 21 and stuff like that. I just ... I like vintage lookin' stuff, you know? I also look to people like Sky Ferreira and Alexis Krauss for inspiration. Cara Delivigne. Hayley Williams. Pop punk and metal queens. I also even look at Michael Clifford, because his style is super badass but also simple. Even Pete Wentz. I don't know. It's hard to pin point where I get my inspiration from, I guess."
