Stars, this'll be interesting. Loke still was getting used to his body, not to mention he was still getting used to the Skulls. All well. The mountain lion was quiet as he strolled along, only to spot Aolani.

A small smile formed on his lips. He had seen the clouded leopard around, but had never approached her. Still, all the same, she was practically an open book to him. She was very quiet, shy, soft-spoken, and was probably afraid when it came to social-interactions.

    "Hey."

Hey, really? All well, too late. That wasn't his usual way to start up a conversation with a female, but too bad so sad. Usually, he start flirting being the kind of guy he was, but he just wasn't in it today. He just needed someone to talk to for once. Distract him a little.

The fellow deckhand would have to do. She looked like she was pretty nice anyway. Teal eyes studied Aolani carefully. He wasn't exactly sure if she was conversation material, afterall, he already knew she was very, very quiet. Actually, he had never known her to speak at all.

Maybe she was mute... No, she's not mute. Well, he was about seventy percent sure she wasn't mute, but it didn't matter.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
A grin nearly formed on his lips at her greeting. She was most defiantly too shy for her own good. Teal eyes met her gaze calmly. Now that the two had acknowledged each other, they could actually chat.

Hopefully. That is if she's not too soft-spoken for a small friendly conversation with another deckhand. The mountain lion sat down, keeping his eyes on her still. Sheesh, she looks so tensed. It was amusing him to be completely honest, considering he found it silly to actually be nervous talking to your own clanmates.

"I'm Loke," he told her, deciding it'd only be right to properly introduce himself. "You're Aolani, right?"

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Why is she nervous? He wondered quietly. Loke gave her an uncharacteristic gentle smile. It's just strange... Like she's afraid... No, she is afraid. But why?

"It's nice to meet you too, Aolani." He said brightly.

He really liked that name. Aolani. Must be like... Hawaiian or something. Loke watched her eyes carefully. It was easy to tell she was frightened as they kept flickering.

"Why so tense, 'Lani?" He questioned, his head titled to the side slightly.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
    Party? Decorations?

"I'm in!" An excited mountain lion cub meowed to Avorio.

The mountain lion of course, was Loke. Teal colored eyes gleamed gleefully. This sounded like fun. He watched quietly for a minute two, focusing mainly on Avorio as she painted with a purple paw.

Curiosity sparked. The reddish furred mountain lion padded slowly over to the supplies to get a fabric flag like Avorio's. Instead of the pot with purple dye of course, he went over to the red.

The deckhand glanced over at his Skullmate. I guess I just stick my paw in there, he decided. None to hesitant, he placed his right front foot in the dye, turning his paw scarlet red. A grin of fascination formed on his face. He slowly put his foot down on the fabric, to leave a Loke sized paw print.

    So cool!

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Beaming, Loke continued his work. His other paw found the blue dye pot and he decided to place both paws down on the same spot one at a time. The print became purple! His eyes lit up.

Guess I have to clean my paws before I use any more dye, he thought, taking off to wash his feet. It wouldn't be good to mix the colors in the pots.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
The cougar cub had came running at Wolfgate's announcement. Battling training! The young deckhand was extremely happy-go-lucky it seemed. He didn't realize he might look a little silly.

That is, until he noticed Aolani. Teal eyes widened slightly in surprise and embarrassment. Instantly he calmed down and put on a very nonchalant expression on his face.

He would not look silly in front of the clouded leopard. Absolutely not. Besides, they were friends now. Or at least, he assumed so. He didn't know about Aolani, afterall, she seemed to have a bit of a social-phobia case.

All well, whatever. Loke looked up at Wolfgate. A fiery glint in his eye showed his enthusiasm, despite the mountain lion keeping his "cool".

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Loke was there in an instant at the she-leopard's summoning. The mountain lion cub had heard the alarm within her voice. Something had to be wrong.

However, what he got wasn't what he was expecting. He could've sworn she should be right there. So why didn't he see her?

It hit him like a brick. Don't some guys have those weird powers? Of course, Aolani was invisible.

Now that he figured that out, he suddenly grinned. Teal eyes gleamed in amusement. Aolani had actually called out, and that was form of speaking.

"Calm down, 'Lani," he meowed, still smiling ecstatically, even using her nickname that he had given her. "It's alright."

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Well, he wasn't happy today that was for sure. The little mountain lion cub had started off the mourning pretty bad, and his mood had just gotten worse as the day continued.

Of course, he wasn't gonna bring it out on Aolani when he ran into her again in the meadow where they first met. Teal colored eyes lit up slightly in surprise at not noticing the clouded leopard as he was walking.

A wave of happiness practically hit him, whipping away his earlier bitter mood. Where did that come from? Loke padded over to the slightly younger deckhand, a bit curious.

    "Hey 'Lani." He greeted.

No doubt, she was happy about something. But how on earth would that affect him? Maybe just seeing a good friend made him happy... No, that was stupid, he had been in a pretty bad mood earlier, not even a sibling if he had any could probably make it better.

Yet, when he felt the happiness, he had ran into Aolani shortly afterward, and coincidences just don't work like that in his book.

    Just, whatever.

[OOC: Yay for character bonds. xD]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Loke nodded in response, still grinning his little face off. Trust her to freak out over an awesome power. Yep, that was Aolani for you.

The cougar couldn't help but find that one of her most enjoyable traits. Sure, she was a little overly timid, but it was a silly kind of fear over something as cool as a power of all things. Teal eyes gleamed in amusement. That's so neat. I wish I could turn invisible.

Loke pawed her playfully. "Told you you were fine 'Lani." He said with a smirk.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 300px;]
Loke found himself smirking at Aolani. There was no doubt at all that she was very determined right now, but there was also no way he was gonna let a girl beat him!

The mountain lion crouched and got into a battle position. "You're on 'Lani." He told her, grinning. "But I'm gonna win for sure."

A very tired, and practically bedridden Loke padded to the beach, seaming oblivious to what was going on.

"Oi, 'Lani, what you freaking out about, you know it effects me too." The deckhand was of course referencing their new (character) bond. And at the moment, he could feel the clouded leopard's surprise.

He was about to complain to her once more, but stopped, for he finally noticed the pink. What the heck!? Teal colored eyes scanned the entire beach, befuddled.

"What on Earth? How'd someone manage that without notice?"

Despite being surrounded by his worst favorite color, he had to admit it was a pretty impressive feat.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; width: 350px;]"Hey 'Lani, not leaving me behind are ya, love?" The cougar cub called out with an accent, grinning.

He liked talking like a pirate, but to him the accent always sounded British. All well, what does it matter? He was gonna help the group on this "expedition".

Teal eyes gleamed at the prospect of exploration and adventure. Loke smiled happily, and ran up to his quiet, clouded leopard friend, so he could walk beside her.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; width: 350px;]"What is I scream exactly?" Loke asked, titling his head in a very cute manner.

Wait are they saying "Ice" cream? All well. His teal eyes gazed curiously up at Lady Avorio. The deckhand had never heard of this "Ice Cream" before, but it sounded intriguing as he listened to his Skullmate explain what it tasted like.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; width: 350px;]The little cougar cub watched with interest, his eyes gleaming in curiosity. He had a fairly good idea who Benedict was. A leader of course. Which clan exactly, he wasn't particularly sure of.

He supposed it shouldn't really matter to him, being a deckhand and all, but that didn't stop him from being curious.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; width: 350px;]"'Volleyball', huh, mates?" He said, cocking his head to the side.

It sounded interesting, and he was all in for something new, especially if it was fun. If the game turned out to be boring or annoying, well than he just wouldn't play it again. Simple.

He glanced towards where he spotted Aolani. He could see, no scratch that, feel, her confusion, and grined slightly in her direction. Maybe 'Lani will play with us too.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt; width: 350px;]Loke just continued to grin as he followed his friend through the forest. His eyes wandered about, searching for anything out of the ordinary.

Too bad, the cougar deckhand seemed out of luck, just like his clouded leopard companion. He didn't see anything new at all. He sighed softly and shook his head.

"What exactly are looking for, mates?" He called out to Porie and Swannie.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 350px;]
    [shadow=black,left]LOKE[/shadow]"Stories, huh?"

The deckhand padded over to the group in a nonchalant manner. His teal eyes glowed in the light of the campfire. Stories. Campfire. Food... All that jazz. Cool.

Smiling, the cougar cub sat down beside Aolani, ready to listen. Loke, just as his clouded leopard friend, enjoyed stories greatly. And maybe, he could tell a few of his own campfire stories. Maybe about some cool pirate legends or something along those lines. Maybe.

Teal eyes gleamed as the deckhand swaggered over to the tom. Eh, why not? Loke could use some fun. Not to mention, he was just too proud and arrogant not to join this "pirate crew".

"You're not having any "wicked adventures" without me, mate." He told Kidd, smirking.

He of course, absolutely loved the old game of Truth or Dare, some of the funniest stuff can occur with any dare. Truth, eh, sometimes that proved interesting too.
