Federalcub squealed in protest as Sherlockholmes tried to pry his small- but surprisingly strong bc yeah- form off his body. After a bit, he gave up and let himself drop back to the ground, working hard to stick his bottom lip out and make quite nice puppy dog eyes. "Why don't you like hugs, Mr. Sherlockholmes?" He meowed pitifully, and fist pumping his paw in his imagination because he'd just managed to sound incredibly forlorn and cute and he was proud of himself. "Then you haven't been hugged properly. It's like an emotional Heimlich. Someone puts their arms around you and they give you a squeeze and all your fear and anxiety come shooting out of your mouth in a big wet wad and you can breath again." Ed meowed, not bothering to hear Sherlock's answer and directly quoting Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles from Pushing Daisies. "You should work on liking hugs, Mr. Sherlockholmes,"

"Oooh! Let's play mossball! I love to play mossball! Where do we get a mossball?" Words spilled out of Federalcub's mouth like a fountain. Eventually he stopped his bouncing so that he could sit directly in front of Mosaiacsun.

Truth be told, he had absolutely no idea what mossball was... But it sounded fun and if Mosaiacsun knew of it it was definitely fun. "I wonder if I should become a professional mossball player and be better than anybody in every clan at it! Wouldn't that be cool? Do they have a rank for that?" Federalcub asked, blinking up at Maisie.

"A waste of time? Hugs are like... the bestest thing ever! My moms give really good hugs. Maybe if I got Moscsun to give you a hug you'd realize how good they are!" Federalcub meowed, excited at the thought. "Mr. Sherlockholmes, did the world stick a thrown in your paw pad and you just don't know it? 'Cause you seem upset. I bet a medic could help out with that," He nodded his head. Medics were super cool. They smelled awesome.

"Some day we'll be so big trees will only count as afternoon snacks! We'll have to go with mountains for meals," Federalcub nodded his head vigorously, approving of the thought. "We'll be so awesome! Imagine how many babes we could get if we at trees for snacks," Well, that made absolutely no sense. But that was ok, most things that came out of the mouth of a young boy, no matter the species, didn't make sense.

"Who knows with Baron. Maybe, we'll just have to ask," Federalcub shrugged his shoulders. "Eh... where's the mountain we're climbing again?"

"Yeah, I'll do that. Thanks mom!" Federalcub liked the idea of making his own rank. It would be cool to be the very first official mossball player in Blizzardclan. He'd better get good fast, though. so that nobody else would steal his idea. "Maybe we can make a factory for mossballs and stuff. Yeah, that'd be awesome! That way we wouldn't have to spend too much time making one every game!"

Federalcub halted, dumbstruck. Oh, gods, a test? He was pretty sure there weren't even schools here. He hadn't signed up for this when he'd been conceived! Eyes flitting every which way, he hoped there was a clue in the environment around him. Aha! When he gazed into a little cubby hole, there was a nest! And in the nest? Moss. Feeling quite proud of himself,Federalcub puffed his little chest out and grinned smugly. "From nests," He said, completely faithful in his answer.

Federalcub had taken it upon himself to explore. As always, his siblings had disappeared to go do something. And he sure wasn't going to let himself be that cub that never did anything and moped around most of the time. So, Eddie had taken it upon himself to make his own gosh darn fun! And what other way to do that than meet new people?

It didn't hurt that his momma was there, so Federalcub found himself smoothing his fluffy, disorganized copper tiger fur and putting on his most winning smile as he trotted over. "Hi there!" He mewed.

Federalcub was almost sure he'd never experienced rain before. It was glorious. Deliciously refreshing pellets of water flinging themselves down from the sky, they were just amazing! Plus, they made some pretty awesome mud puddles that Eddie had been entertaining himself in. What more could a tom ask for? Trotting along and giggling to himself as he pounced in every puddle he could find, Ed relished the feeling of his slick fur against his skin, and of the cool mud covering nearly every inch of his normally bright and fiery pelt. It felt good to get a little messy.

This trail of puddles led him right to Hangingtree, and he offered her a big fat happy smile. "Hey there!"

Federalcub scurried off, working hard not to trip on his big paws as he did so, plunging into the deep mud with a big laugh. Rolling over and over, he batted at the green substance like it was a mouse he'd caught and was torturing, pushing it near death but not quite letting it tip over the edge. "Grrrrr!" He yowled, putting on his best scary face as she pushed himself across the plushy surface. "I'm gonna eat you!" And he plunged his juvenile fangs into the stuff, shaking his head back and forth with a giggle. "I've got ya now!" Digging his back claws into the moss, he pulled at it angrily.

Pulling himself out of the plushy pile, Federalcub hopped to his feet and trotted out, a long strip of moss in his maw. "Now I make it into a ball, right?" He mewled, dropping it and mushing it up into a large lump. "Is that good?" He asked before batting at it experimentally. It fell to pieces immediately.

"Ok," Federalcub meowed, and then he was scrambling to bat at the mossball she'd just passed him. Diving onto his belly, he pushed it away with both paws and sent it sprawling towards Mosaiacsun at high speeds. "Yaaaay!" He yowled, grinning from ear to ear. He'd hit it!

/federalcub made himself a new profile btw

/i died when i made it it was awesome omg i still laugh every time i look at it

also, when is it ok to make feddie the age of an apprentice? hes being mentored by sherlock fyi, should be interesting omg xD

Federalcub swelled with pride, pulling himself to his paws and stretching a leg out to swipe the mossball far off to the side, hoping to surprise is mother and make a 'goal'. "Yeah! I am, aren't I?"

    An idea struck Federalcub.

Unfortunately, this idea struck him right before the mossball passed him. If he'd been prepared, he could have hit it easily. But at the moment, he was frozen still, thinking about what a great idea it was.

And so the mossball bumped past, and rolled to a stop a few feet away. "Awugh!" He yowled, shaking his head in disappointment. What a lame thing to do! "I was gonna hit it with my head!" Eddie muttered, stomping off to retrieve the ball and bat it at his mother again.

Federalcub was so ready. He'd splayed his legs and widened his stance so that he had a solid base for himself that he could gather lots of energy and force from. As the mossball fluttered through the air, he bunched his muscles and aimed to meet it. And meet it he did. Fump. There was a soft, dull bang as his head met moss, and the mossball careened back in his mother's direction. "YEAH!" Ed laughed, thankful that they were playing with the soft, green substance instead of something like a rock. Because that would have hurt.

    This was Federalcub's first meeting.

And that meant he had to look good. When Baronstar called, Eddie found himself preening and picking like his mothers did to him. It was totally annoying, but this was like the biggest social gathering ever! He'd just have to get over it, because it would be worth it in the end when she-cats fell head over heels for him and his dashing good looks.

The tiger tom strode into the middle of the meeting, swinging his hips and looking as incredibly cool as he possibly could. This act was interrupted only when both his parents' names were called, and he erupted into cheers and hoots for Librarynaps and Mosaiacsun. "Go mommies!" He yowled, a grin spread across his face.

Federalcub was totally there because why not. Prancing and dancing, the tiger kit bounced himself up to his mother's side, making sure he looked even more awesome than usual because now one of his moms was a deputy and the other was a paladin and that made him super cool but you had to act cool, you couldn't be all nerdy. Did you follow his frame of mind? Because I certainly don't know what I just typed. But anyway, Federalcub smiled brightly at everyone before looking up to Mosaiacsun. "How come I didn't have to take an oath about being loyal?"

/ahhh all of me is on my pandora right now and just so perf

Hitting mossballs was fun right up until your opponent was a tree stump and you'd hit the ball around a hundred times. Federalcub shook his head and sighed deeply as he stopped the mossy sphere with his broad paw before he dropped himself to the ground and rolled onto his back wallowing in a thick molasses pool of boredom. What on earth was there for him to do? His siblings were probably out doing something without him (whatever, like he needed them anyway- well... he did.. But. You know.). He'd also visited Mosaiacsun like a million times. It was like he was her shadow or something. Who hadn't he visited...? Librarynaps! The thought of the gal who'd grown him inside of her and then squeezed him out of her uterus was pretty exciting. He hadn't spent nearly enough time with her, and this fault had to be righted! Eddy was on his paws now, galloping through camp as quickly as he could when you're a young, gangly, uncoordinated cub. He tripped a few times, but he was determined to track his sweet momma down! "Libraaaaaaarynaaaaaaps!"

Oh, boy. This was tempting. Federalcub's maw twisted up into a pucker, and his eyes narrowed as he glared daggers of anger at this rude creature. He really shouldn't say anything because now both of his moms were here, but oh, man, that was mean. Stalking up to this poopyhead of a soul, Federalcub raised his chin defiantly and set his broad striped shoulders square. "'Least I'm not mean and close-minded enough to judge and insult cats I don't even know," He meowed with a quick lash of his stubby tail before he turned away and returned to his parents' side. Why would somebody be so mean? He wasn't a show-off! He just wanted to look good? What was wrong with that?

Another headbutt was performed and Federalcub wriggled with glee. "Thanks for teaching me about mossball, momma!" He grinned- what would he do without his ever-so-helpful mom?

Well, he wouldn't be a mossball player. But that was a pretty big deal when that's pretty much the only thing you do. "Who's your best friend other than Librarynaps?" He asked with a smile. See, he had to know so that he could bother them about how awesome he and his mossball were and how their best friend had taught him about it.
