"Normally you call me Louis..." Louis looked at her with a tilted head.

Ahh, yeah. My friend had bronchitis and still came to school. She wants perfect attendance. xDo

ooc ;; fast life they have. already opened eyes? xD
ic ;; Dovekit mewed inaudibly, only her mouth moving showed she was actually doing something. Her eyes fluttered open as she blinked and then shut them immediately upon opening them. She didn't like all the bright colors and things moving. She wriggled closer to her mother and uttered her complaint quietly.

Same here. I'd have to be dying to skip school...

"That's good!" beamed Nate, chuckling quietly as he released her from his embrace. "Where are we going, anyways? You said you were taking me somewhere."

I took notice of the initiate sitting alone, probably on purpose. I kept walking and joined Four and a couple of the other initiates. A couple seconds passed before I asked Four, "Max keeps trying to meet up with you, but you don't show. What's going on?" He squirms a little, clearly uncomfortable with the turn the conversation had headed towards. The initiates at the table fell silent, watching on with interest.
He said softly, "He keeps offering me a job in leadership, but I'm not interested." Not interested? How could he be not interested? Was he serious? I nod once, pat him on the back a couple times. Probably harder than necessary. I stand up, grab my tray, and leave that table. I didn't want to go eat with the other Dauntless leaders; they never talked about anything of my interest. I surveyed the mess hall for a probably seat and noticed the initiate. She emanated 'don't sit by me or I will slit your throat,' but I chose to sit next to her anyways. If nothing but just to bug her.
"So. You're an Amity. You certainly don't seem like you belong there," I say as I take a bite of my burger carelessly. We ate meat in Erudite, just not often, but I had become accustomed to them and I even was slightly fond of them. They were good, that was a certainty. I noticed her picking at her burger as if unsure whether she should eat it or not. "Eat it, it's good."

ooc ;; do i just start after your rp in the first post?

"I'm not bothered. It's just a little weird," Louis says in return.

Louis leaned back in the catch, not bothered by her sudden silence.

"Yeah, we did do it," I say back, my eyes carefully watching the road. I let a small smile part my lips and my posture loosens a little as I relax. I always manage to get stressed and riled up whenever Britt goes in to commit the heist itself. I don't realize it when I breathe out a slight sigh of relief, my stomach now able to unclench itself from the tight knots it twisted itself in. "How much did you manage to take?" I asked to take my mind off the thought of her getting arrested by the police, an ambush. I would never forgive myself if she went into a building and never came back out.
While I wait for my answer, I slow down a little on the getaway car. We were on a small, dirt road and the car kept bumping over little mounds that rose up in the middle of the road and little ditches. It rattled my teeth, knocking them together. I turned into an abandoned house that we had claimed as our own after a while longer of driving. I knew that our time here was limited and eventually we would have to move out. But, I was happy here for the time being. There was no one who could make me hate this place. It was our first actual home after being on the road.
ooc ;; sorry for the short post.

"Sleepy?" the boy teased.

I stand at the edge of the training room with my arms behind my back, standing stiffly. I survey the room with a severe look on my face. I notice a curly-headed boy take to beating up a girl who looks like she could camouflage into snow. She is small and pathetic. She will not make it in Dauntless, of that I am sure. I lean over to whisper to Max, "He's good, I'll give him that." Max nods in reply and I return to a reasonable distance away from him.
My gaze flicks around the room carelessly again and I notice that most of them have taken to either weights or punching bags, taking out whatever strength they think they possess on each. That's when I notice the same Amity girl who seems to be defying the entire Amity faction and the traits they possess. She sits on a mat and stretches casually as if getting ready to do some stretching or some crap like that. You need to focus on strength if you want to make it in this faction.
I watch her with amusement as she stretches her legs and arms. She's flexible, I'll give her that. I lean back against the wall and kick out my legs in front of me, a smirk carving its way into my face cruelly. She starts doing little gymnast moves, rolling around. Maybe agility could help her. She certainly isn't strong or big, so she will need to rely on her agility and speed. She is lithe. I shake my head away from all these thoughts. "Initiate!" I call, pointing her out. "Stretching isn't going to do you any good in the physical exams!" I smile a little and arch my eyebrows. "Do something useful."
I don't know why I have been paying extra attention to her. She is interesting. I promise myself to challenge her further than the initiation. To push her until she breaks, to know where her boundaries are. I smile a little to myself before returning to the present scene where sniggers and whispers are passing through the initiates, quickly silenced by a harsh look by me.
[ yay! i made you proud! xD ]

eli sits in his room, the bed springs creaking softly under his slim weight. he stands up suddenly, that urge stirring strong within him. it was an invisible string, always pulling him to the nearest blade or cigarette lighter. they had plenty of those, nate and him. lighters. since nate was always smoking, eli always had enough lighters for a lifetime's supply of self-harm. he dug around in his sock drawer and eventually found both a knife, a small one, and a cigarette lighter. he brought them back to his bed and flicked the pocketknife open, reveling at its dim glow in the light of the evening that shone through the windows. he brought it to his waist, after pulling his shirt up, and made the first cut.

"Go to sleep. I'll go to sleep now," Louis assured her.

hehe. so screwed. O.O
