Russetstripes's anger flared and he hurled himself at Swiftfoot, a yowl of rage escaping his jaws. "How dare you threaten either of us like that," he spat, pinning the she-cat down and holding his jaws a whisker-length from her throat.

Brightkit flicked her ears with curiosity as she saw an unfamiliar kit approach Blackkit. It better not be a she-kit, she thought, her fur beginning to bristle. When Blackkit looked her way, she quickly looked in another direction, trying not to look like she cared.
-
"It's nice," Belle said politely, landing lightly beside the tom. She looked around. "Do your folks let you wander wherever you want?" she asked, her voice dripping with jealousy.
-
"That must be pretty fun," Belle said, playfully cuffing Jeice's ear. She thought back to the bird he had caught in her yard. "Don't your folks feed you?" she asked.
-
Belle laughed. "I do remember those as a kit, but I get better food now!" She licked her lips as she thought of the tender meats and sauces. "So...where to now?"
-
ooc; OH, sorry Rainbow!

Russetstripe let his fur lie flat and he stood up tall. "Now, if you two will calm down over this mouse-brained argument, I have something to say," he said, getting louder towards the end of the sentence.
-
"I'm not scared of him," Brightkit spat, her fur standing on end. Then she sighed and looked away. "I'm sorry for shouting," she said quietly. "I'm just scared for Soulkit."
-
"Okay," Belle said, her eyes gleaming. She had occasionaly gotten treated to a bite or two of human food, and it was the best thing she had ever tasted.
-
Belle followed Jeice, looking around at all the buildings and people.
-
Brightkit watched Blackkit go, feeling sorry for the other kit. She looked up at Chalkkit. "Excuse me," she said quietly, getting up to leave.
-
Brightkit looked confused for a moment before a look of recognition spread across her face. "You're it," she said, patting Blackkit's side.
-
Belle shrank back as she saw someone approach the tom. She didn't like any Twoleg besides her's, so she was a bit uncomfortable.
-
"Uh, no," Belle said quickly, shaking her pelt to hide any discomfort that might be showing. She quickened her pace until she was standing beside Jeice. "So where is this eating place?"
-
Brightkit let a mewl of protest come out before darting forward and tapping Blackkit. Then she turned around and hurried into the nursery.
-
Belle nodded. "That sounds good," she replied. Although she was hesitant to steal food from anybody, the smell was just too tempting.
-
Belle hurried behind Jeice, her mouth beginning to water at the tantalizing scents wafting from the building.
-
"First, Swiftfoot. I'm sorry, but you need to understand that I love Heatherflight, and there's nothing you could do to change that." Russetstripe knew he sounded like some haughty tom that she-cats fell all over, but what could he do?
-
Belle's eyes widened and she smiled greedily. "Thanks, it looks so good," she said, bending down to gnaw on the steak.
-
About halfway through her piece of steak, Belle stopped and sat back, full. She cleaned her whiskers with her tongue before running a paw over the top of her head.
-
ooc; Very. :p
Russetstripe took a deep breath, feeling himself go hot. He blinked slowly, trying to draw his eyes from Swiftfoot's deep blue ones, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. His tail lightly played with hers.
