Sagepaw tried not to act surprised when Willowspark approached him. He'd watched her sort through the herbs, and he was grateful he didn't have to do as much work with that, but also a bit ashamed he'd pretended to sleep in to avoid his duties. "Hm...?" He pretended to rouse at her voice. "Oh, good morning, Willowspark..."

Snowy awoke in his nest, which was surrounded with various containers filled to the brim with herbs, mice livers, and other various things used to heal or to divine. The cheerful white tom who acted as healer and spirit guide to the cats that lived her got out of his nest, and went out into the clearing, limping lightly due to his left back leg which was dead, where the cats would gather to eat or to set patrols. He hoped to strike up a conversation with some other cat, but it seemed that not everyone was awake yet.

Wisp stretched, yawning as she woke up. The black-and-white she cat stepped out of the den where the Scavengers made their nests, and sat in the clearing, awaiting instruction.

Snowy felt a rush of pride on the behalf of Ash. He always enjoyed watching the younger cats become full members of the group. It gave him hope for their futures, despite their troubled pasts. He shuddered to think of the experiments that were performed on him that gave him his ice powers. The ground below his paws started to freeze, before he caught himself and shook away the negativity.

Wisp watched as Ash passed his assessment. Though she had chosen the path of a scavenger, she had to respect the cats that chose to protect their small group.
