Artemia's eye narrowed towards the other Charizard. Flame sent to return a growl before Artemia touched his side. "Let's not start a brawl Flame. I'm sure you will be able to do battle with that one during the Championships." she assured the shiny Charizard. "No need for such hostilities. We are all Trainers here. I did not mean to interrupt your revelry." said the 50 year old woman, walking over with Flame close behind.

Meanwhile, Nickolai stayed away from the growing crowd, preferring the company of Nyx over other trainers. Nyx assessed the power of the other Pokemon. She nudged Nickolai and motioned towards the old woman dressed in gray and white. He immediately frowned. What was that old witch of a woman doing here?

Nickolai decided to take the cue from the other trainers and released his Pokemon as well. Fang burst from his Poke Ball, the Luxray ready for battle. Titania, the ever flirtatious Sylveon, rubbed against Nickolai's legs. Shroudfire growled at Fang, the Houndoom, due to his nature, was always trying to pick a fight. Bog came out and looked about calmly, choosing to stand beside Nyx. Nickolai had gotten the Swampert around the same time as the Absolute, so they were best buds. Spirit chose to flit about as the Mismagius often did. She was known for her ghastly pranks. Pun intended of course. Nickolai greeted his Pokemon, cheerfully patting each one. These Pokemon were his family and he cherished them for their love and support.

Titania turned up her nose at the other Pokemon, preffering the company of Shroudfire to them. She may be flirtatious, but she wouldn't just go up to another trainer's Pokemon. Spirit was much more sociable. She greeted the other Ghost-type, friendly as ever. Nyx stayed close to Nickolai, who was a bit away from the group, he saw Spirit seemed to find a nice Banette. Both Shroudfire and Fang sized up Mr. Fish, both seeming to like their chances. Bog stepped in to sternly warn them off. He wouldn't have any fighting break out now, they weren't battling yet. Nickolai praised Bog at his willingness to keep a fight from happening.

Artemia smiled towards the Charizard and Gyrados. "They seem well trained." she praised. She turned from the group and released her own Pokemon. Embers, the unusually intelligent Ninetales, glanced at Flame, asking if these other Pokemon and humans were a threat to her owner. Flame shook his head. Embers could be rather over protective. Thorn immediately took to the sky, finding the ground far too crowded. He then roared out a challenge to all the Pokemon present. "Thorn, No need for that. Save it for when we do battle. " Artemia scolded lightly, knowing his rather abrasive nature. Aurora, the only Pokemon that seemed able to calm the large Salamence, flew up and circled around him, giving soothing cries. The Dragonair was known for her kind and gentle nature, but was also one of Artemia's strongest Pokemon. Gardenia hung back near Flame and Embers, also concerned with the trainer's safety. They all knew that Artemia was getting frail as she got older. She wasn't as spry as she used to be, so these three felt it was their job to protect her at all cost. Meanwhile, Shade, a usually aloof Umbreon, walked over to NightShadow and Sunny to greet them.

Johnathan chose not to tell her about the ball immediately, choosing instead to focus on her training. He couldn't have her slip up. Besides, she being a thief and all, he couldn't very well tell her they were having lots of rich Royal guests over who were going to be dressed to the nines. He wasn"'t stupid.

"Now we will be heading to the kitchen's where you will wash dishes, sweep, things like that. Hopefully you'll work your way up to being a maid." Johnathan explained as they walked. Johnathan stopped and watched the maid walk past them. He saw the shadows ripple. He gathered light into his palm and called to the woman. "May I ask who you are? I know you aren't Kait, she being a mininor Witch who has trouble with basic spells, not nearly powerful enough to distort the light around her, as you have. So exactly who, or perhaps more to the point, What are you?

"You were being bullied? Why?" Nickolai asked. He needed to answer. And more than that he needed to know who dared make his brother cry. He felt his anger rising as his split-personality rithed with fury ready to bus some heads. He held it back. He knew how to handle that part of himself. He took out a handkerchief and wiped Charlie's eyes. "Keep going. Tell me everything."

Nickolai pulled Charlie closer. "Let's get one thing straight. None of this is your fault. Dad didn't leave because of you. He left because of me. That man finally got tired of seeing the person that killed the love of his life, so he left. As for the bullying, we need to get a hold of the principle perhaps he could help. From now on I'm walking with you to your classes. I will not let them near you." said Nickolai, hoping his soothing words were helping, at least a little.

Nickolai stood. He knew how important it was for Charlie to stand up for himself, but Nickolai also wanted to protect him. He wanted to wrap his arms around Charlie and protect him from the world. He knew that was unrealistic though. He smiled gently at Charlie, his golden eyes showing concern. "Alright. I'll leave you to it. But if you find yourself in a situation you can't handle, I want you to call me. If ever you're feeling the world closing in just come to me and I'll be there. I'm not letting you feel alone again. Now, as for the cutting it has to stop." he said sternly. "All that is is a form of self-abuse. Worse of all it's addictive. It won't help you in the slightest. If I find you're doing it again I will upend your room,. Trust me, you don't want me going through your stuff." said Nickolai. "Now come on. Let's get you patched up." said Nickolai, grabbing the first aid kit. He made Charlie sit on the toilet so he could treat his Injuries. All this time ignoring the slice on his palm.

Nickolai Ceres | Age 17 | Crime: Murder

Nickolai wasn't the type to get frightened so easily. When he heard he and others were going to be dropped on an uninhabited Earth he relished the opportunity. After all he had killed many before being convicted. Of crimes he didn't commit no less! He had been accused of killing his grandparents. Their corpses were quite the gruesome sight. But he hadn't killed them. They were the only people he would never harm. No. It was him. He was the one that sought Nickolai out for his mental state, tortured him into the exact grotesque shape he wanted and then released him upon those innocent people of The Ark.

Nickolai, quite snapped, was relishing the thought of killing every single person dropped with him. All 99 of them. But first he wanted a look around. He exited the ship, among the first to do so, and looked around at all the glorious splendor. He was filled with excitement. This would be the perfect killing ground. He would wet the ground with these teens' blood. He stepped on a twigand was met with the eyes of a girl. She seemed nervous and frightened. How very... Boring. She seemed no fun to kill. He walked away, looking about. Hmmm... Who to kill first?

Nickolai's eyes flashed with rage. He whipped around, grabbed the girl, and pinned her to a tree by her neck. "Never say that again! I didn't kill them! I've killed many others, but not them. If you say that again I will snap your pretty little neck with no effort at all." Nickolai hissed, his grip tightening to show how serious he was. "As for the killing of all of you, that is my business to know. Now I suggest you get like the frightened rabbit you are and hop off somewhere to die. No way will you survive out here. The wilderness will kill you long before I do." said Nickolai, tossing her away like some rag doll. He then stalked away into the forest that surrounded them, content to wait for his prey to come to him. Meanwhile, he would build a defensible camp. Most of these kids had been convicted for dangerous crimes. They would most likely have the same idea he had. It's survival of the fittest after all. That little rabbit best get ready for a fight.

Meanwhile, Nickolai had journeyed deep into the surrounding forest, searching for an area that would make for a good, defensible, camp. After a bit he found something. It was a narrow crack in a cliff that became a cave, opening up and tunneling out of the top of the cliff face. It looked like it had once been a stream running through the rock. Nothing was left of it now. Best of all, there was a river nearby, Nickolai had to cross it to get to the cave. That meant a source of fresh water and, hopefully, food in the way of fish.

Nickolai, who's mind was filled with parinoia, set many traps in the way of snares and pitfalls to catch anyone following him. He was at last free from his solitary confinement. Now he would rip apart anyone who challenged his freedom.
