That'd be great, we really need an Alpha male. We can have Shadow find him out on her territory, and he can join the pack. Shadow's typically not going to show any intrest in him at first, but you gotta keep him at it in order to grab her attention.

Wolfshadow placed a gentle but firm lick on the top of Brackenkit's head. "You can play tomorrow," she reminded him. "But you need your sleep so that you can grow big and strong."

"Well the King of the Trees needs to rest so that he can defend his territory," Wolfshadow murmured, herding the kits into the den and curling around them. She sighed. We'll have to leave this place soon.

Do you think we should make up some temporary characters to chase them out of the clearing? I mean, it's bound to happen, and they need an excuse to start moving again.

Wait--I'm confused. Sorry, I didn't really pay attention to the users. I thought it was the same person that I told could be alpha male and now..I don't know.
How bout this: both of you can bring in male characters, and they both want to be Shadow's mate. She'll choose whichever makes her happiest, but the pack will come first. Shadow will also take greatly into account how well the male can take leadership, without being harsh or cruel.

Shadow sensed a spark in the air, like the crackle of lightning, and decided to head out into the territory. She could scent Crowe, Silverstone and Talon, but there was another--unfamiliar--scent very near. She trotted through the trees, slinking up behind her packmates to stand next to them. She caught a glimpse of Silverstone's crumpled body, and instantly fluffed out her black fur, letting out a low growl. "What's the meaning of this?" she demanded, glaring at the intruder.

OOC: Yeah, that's not a bad idea. We can bring the foxes in soon. I'll roleplay one of them, and you can roleplay the other, Drizzlepelt, if you want.

Wolfshadow curled tightly around her kits, protecting them from the steadily increasing cold that signified the approach of leaf-bare. She closed her eyes, falling into an easy sleep.

Orion jumped back slightly as Rachel vomited again, and he gently brushed her hair away from her face. "Come on," he grunted, lifting up her weak body with ease. "I'll get you some help." He began walking down the corridor toward the nurse's office, being careful not to jostle the girl around too much.

Shadow held back a murmur of agreement with Plague. She turned sharply to Silverstone. "Who is this wolf?" she asked. Then more quietly, "Can we trust him?"

Orion managed to get Rachel down to the nurse's office, where he laid her gently on the cot.

OOC: You're going to have to play the nurse because I don't know what's wrong with her.

Kōri emerged from her casing of ice, walking about the camp where her troops were readying themselves for an attack. Her cold, ice-blue eyes flicked around as she assessed those surrounding her.
"Shi," she called out, her voice just as icy as the element she controlled. "Has there been any sign of my sister and her group?"
Waiting for a reply, Kōri stifled a couch and wiped her hand over her mouth. She was not surprised to see that it was stained with blood. I need that cure.

Kōri gave a curt nod. "Very good, Shi," she replied. "We'll need to make a move soon, though." She turned and began to walk toward a fallen tree stump, sitting down lightly as she tried not to show how weak she really felt.

And you both need to keep in mind that Shadow may reject both of you, so don't be too hopeful.

Kōri looked up sharply. This poisn was beginning to make her mind slip, she hardly knew what to do with herself right now. "Yes," she said to Shi. "Target the healer. Get as much infotmation out of her as you can, and leave her in cold blood." Her icy eyes shone with dark delight as she pictured her sister's main chance of survival diminishing with the simple slice of a blade.

Orion hovered on the other side of the bed. "What's wrong with her?"

Kōri turned her cold gaze on Jace, a mocking tone escaping her throat. "Maybe if you'd been helping around camp, Jace, I wouldn't have forgotten about you." She smiled coldly. "But now that you're so eager to help, you can come along with us this time. Just don't get caught up in your precious shadows."

Hearing Atsushi's willing to come, she nodded. "Very well. I will go along with Shi, Jace, and Atsushi to Kawa's camp. The rest of you will stay behind in the event of a counterattack."

To her assembled group, Kōri began explaining the battle tactics. "We will come in from the east when night falls, so that we will be hidden in the growing shadows as the sun sets in the west. Keep out of the light, and move swiftly and quietly." All the while, she was showing their path on an old wrinkled map. "Once we get close enough, there should be an opening in their defences right here," she pointed to the spot. "Shi and Atsushi will slip in to take out the healer, while Jace and I circle around and enter the camp through a different breach to find Kawa."
