EmberClan
~Emerging From the Embers of Yesterday~

Emberclan was once known as Rootclan because of their many trees and long history in the land. But as the years passed the territory had begun to die, the two-legged destroyed most of the forest and polluted what little was left. Risingstar's father and leader before her knew that they could not stay in their forest for much longer. During the driest summer they had seen for moons a fire broke out, just outside of their camp. When they woke the entire forest was on fire. Barely anyone made it out, Risingstar's father died rescuing a kit from the nursery.

The few survivors looked to Risingstar for guidance, in the clan's time of need she took control and they welcomed her as leader. The gang of cats searched for weeks for a suitable camp group and just before leaf-fall began they found their new home.

Camp-

The camp is located inside the barn itself.

Leader's Den- The leaders den is a small area of the second story of the barn over looking the field into front of the barn. Her bedding consists of a bale of hay in front of a hole in the wall that gives her a clear view of the territory. Her den is very near the stairs giving her protection but still a easy way to reach the fighting if necessary.

Warrior's Den- The warriors den is located on the first floor of the barn in the first stall on the left, they are the first to see any intruders. Their den is one of two on the first floor of the barn, other wise it consists of 2 other stalls. The second stall houses the Apprentices, the third stall has a closet that the clan store their food in, it also has many bales of hay that the clan sit on and eat. The warriors den is made up of hay scattered around making up nests.

Medicine Cat's Den- The MCD is on the second floor on the other side of the stairs, this houses the MC. It has a cubby shelf on its side that the MC uses to store herbs.

Apprentice's Den- The apprentices den is located behind the warriors den in the second stall of the barn. As in the other dens the nests are made of hay.

Nursery- The nursery is located in the back right-hand corner of the second story. Its behind the MCD so the MC can reach it quickly and also provides protection from any intruders. In the nursery the queens use the softer alfalfa and moss for nests.

Elder's Den- The elders den is opposite of the nursery, behind the leaders den. Like the nursery the elders use alfalfa for bedding.

Hunting Grounds-

For most of the year the cats rely on the nearby woods for food but during winter they have easy access to mice that live in the barn. Until leaf-bare the clan leaves the mice alone so they can have plenty food for winter. Otherwise the clan hunts-

Training Areas-

Border- The clan's border is regularly checked for new clans warriors will sometimes bring their apprentices on patrols. At the moment the Emberclan is bordered by no other clans.
Wolf Den- The abandoned wolf den is a popular place that mentors take their apprentices to give them an idea of what a dog smells like and their tracks.
The River- Another common training area is the river, it runs through the woods. However there are rarely any fish. It's a good learning experience none the less.
The Pit- The pit is wear many go to train their apprentices how to fight, its a sandy clearing surrounded by the woods.

The young leader is hostile and untrusting, but she loves the clan with all her heart. She is vicious if you get on her bad side, short tempered, and a true spitfire. She has patience with kits and apprentices but that's about all. However when faced with a question that could change the fate of her clan she turns into her father, clam, wise, and noble. Many see her as a great leader, but some are still doubtful to weather or not the young she-cat can handle the position.

Despite being a medicine cat, she isn't exactly warm and friendly; rather a hermit, she sticks to her job. She doesn't like the company of others, however she is always there wordlessly, offering help with a semi kind expression, depending. Strong and withdrawn, and tends to not have to say anything as she expresses what she feels violently through words, making her rude and sarcastic, blunt to the core.

Like her name, she is jaded, and closed off, rude to the point its amusing. Everything about her is rough, and unloving. She shows no emotion, and perhaps never will. However, she is a determined she-cat, and works hard for the clan. She just does it alone,hanging out with her sister on a lot of occasions. Her honesty is considered too blunt/rude for most cats, leading her to having no friends. Not like she cares, as her strong will drives her through anything, especially life.

She is a cunning and sly but loyal she-cat. She can be funny and likes to explore new things. She wants cats to like her but doesn’t force them to. She has nightmares from her past and can’t sleep at night most of the time and sneaks out to hunt or go for a walk to clear her mind.
Family: Shadow was her father and he died in the fire. Her mother Lily also died in the fire but died right in front of her eyes. Icefang is a pure rogue and that is why she is so strictly loyal to her Clan and Clan mates.

•Personality: Raisa is a very sneaky mare, she loves to know everyone's secrets and somehow she always does. She looks perfectly innocent, and she knows how to play it. Her soft spot is foals, she would never endanger a foal even if the stakes were her own life. But other than that Raisa is a notorious blackmailer and almost no one trusts her. But deep down all she wants is for someone to believe in her.
•History(Optional): Raisa was bred for dressage and she was great at it too, she was on her way to the Olympics and she got colic (sick) the day before the trials. Raisa's owner didn't care she went to the trail anyways but Raisa couldn't handle it she passed out during the show. She fell on her side crushing her riders leg. Raisa recovered but her owner would never ride again. After 3 months her owner had finally had enough she open the stall door and whipped Raisa until she ran away.

Risingstar sat in her den looking out the window at the ground below, she smiled to herself proudly. The clan was beginning to look like a clan again. She stood up and arched her back, stretching. As she padded downstairs and outside she noticed how low the fresh kill pile was, she'll talk to Darkfeather about more hunting parties later. For the moment she would see if anyone needed her.
