    Alfred paused and looked at his phone in confusion when Maddie was cut off and various noises sounded from it. When he brought the device to his ear and heard the explanation for this a smile slowly spread across his face, which soon turned into small laughs. "It's okay," After those two words he lost what little control he'd had, continuing to speak between more fits of laughter. "How- how do you even- do that?- You'd have to throw it or something!" Alfred continued for a few moments, finally calming down a bit. "S-sorry. Oh, man. It's just really funny." He said, wiping a few tears from his eyes. "Okay. So... Tomorrow at noon, yeah?"

    (Hey, at least you're apologizing and not ruining people's day!)

    "How about... Um..." Alfred tapped his finger on the side of the couch as he thought for a moment. He found that he still had the urge to laugh about the cellphone dropping every once and awhile, but he tried to keep himself on track. "Well, if I'm driving I could pick you up by your dorm if you want," he suggested, shrugging even though Maddie couldn't see him.

    (Sorry, I had tests I had to study for ; ' ; if I don't reply for awhile it's probably safe to say that I'm stuck with schoolwork or flute ufifuddgfguufd)

    "I don't mind at all," he replied happily. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then!" Alfred almost hung up with that, but stopped himself just before he did. It was a habit of his, picked up from conversations with Arthur. Not that the Brit taught him to do that or anything. It was just something that Alfred had found annoyed him, so it'd become a regular thing to pester him with. With most of his calls being with Kirkland, it wasn't surprising to the American that he'd almost just hung up on Maddie without letting her get any farewell in.

    (Whoa, you already have finals? That sucks ;A;
    Oh my goodness, you do? That's awesome! How long have you played it for?)

    The "can't wait" that was said before the call was ended made Alfred's smile stick around for awhile afterwards. He couldn't have said it better himself; he was already glancing at the clock in a sort of count down. It was funny to think that he'd just made plans to spend time with a girl he'd tripped over. Even funnier that that girl had agreed to spend time with him. Hey, at least the strangeness was equally spread.

    Arthur hadn't questioned Alfred's departure, with a small backpack mainly just carrying his water bottle and a few small, fairly random items that had already been in it and he'd been too lazy to take them out. Actually, Arthur hadn't spoken to him all morning (courtesy of the beverage swapping Alfred had pulled the previous day).
    Upon arriving at the dorm, the American turned his blasting music down and picked up his phone, typing out a short message to inform Maddie of his location of waiting outside. The blonde man leaned back in his seat, deciding to relax while he waited for her.

    (Hfjfvddkg sorry for the time skip, I hope that was okay ;^;
    That really sucks that you have finals right before your birthday ;A;
    I've only been playing for five years, and I've only had lessons for about two years now, so I'm not that good at it. But hey, I love playing it, it makes me so happy ;w; ugh, our school makes us march no matter what, and I'm TERRIBLE at it. I couldn't march to save my life. It's really fun for lots of people though. Do you like marching a lot? :3)

    N nodded enthusiastically, glancing over at her and then to the window again, a smile still glued to his face. "They are. Not many people think that really. They kinda just do it because they can- but it's actually a great thing. A sort of therapy, you know?" N looked back at her a bit embarrassedly, realizing how much he was blabbering. "Sorry. What's it like for you? Why do you enjoy ferris wheels so much?"

    Name (first and last): Jonas Beilschmidt
    Age: 15
    Looks: Keeps his hair in a small ponytail (it isn't too long, only about shoulder length when down) and has both his hair and eye colors very similar to Ludwig's. He's more of an average height- as in, most boys have passed him already, and he hopes constantly that he'll grow to be taller than them one day. He tends to wear baggy clothing. In the summers, a plain T-shirt, shorts, and a necklace that he keeps on all the time, and in the winter- well, basically the same thing, just with a large blue sweater and longer pants.
    (Would it be all right if I drew a picture of him later?)
    Personality: He's fairly shy and quiet around most people, but with the few that he feels exceptionally close to he shows more of his true colors. He can be quite rambunctious sometimes, but would get embarrassed if strangers saw him act like that. He likes to stick more to the rules and wants to get things done in a timely and correctly done way. With the few friends he has, he tries to stick close to them, and doesn't exactly like to be without people he knows unless he's completely alone. Some may say he's a bit- well- soft. Not physically, as he actually enjoys regular exercise, but more mentally. He likes hearing about people's lives, and wants to help with their problems- actually, people would translate to friends and family in his case.
    Likes: Training (though not as much as his father, but he's particularly fond of swimming), spending time with his friends, movies, and keeping things in order.
    Dislikes: Messes, dogs (he fears them, even though his dad loves the creatures), and overly loud noises.
    Parent: Germany
    History: He never had much luck making friends, so he stuck with spending his spare time with his cat he'd adopted as a kitten, when it was a stray he'd often seen. He still has the little feline, and takes it almost everywhere with him. His fear of dogs had developed to just a dislike by now, but he's still a bit wary of them.
    Crush: Nicole? If that's alright with you? :3
    Bf/Gf: None/open
    Other: Hetalia. I'm not incredibly active, but I'd love to join ;w;

    Alfred brightened when Maddie entered the car, smiling and sitting up happily. "Nah, not long," he replied, turning the car on with a flick of his keys. "But it's about forty-five minutes out, so it's gonna take a little bit to get there."
    Once he'd started driving again, he took his eyes off the road to look at Maddie for a second. "How are you?" He asked cheerfully, if not randomly.

    (Ah man, I'm sorry. Losing family is really hard ;-; and I'm also sorry that I'm terrible at comforting people ;∆;

    Yeah, most people love marching, I'm just lame. And uncoordinated... And not athletic in the slightest.

    My lowest grade
    Is in gym class

    So pathetic)

    (Aw, I'm sorry ; ` ; I hope you're feeling a little better about that, but I totally get that that's a hard thing to start feeling better about in general ;;-;;
    I'm also really really sorry I just dropped off the side of the earth for so long!! I had all the marching stuff, and my final concerts for band and orchestra, and then I've been preparing for my audition for orchestra again, and practicing for the graduation music stuff, and finals, and blah blah
    And then my flipping phone wouldn't let me on here for forever, BUT IT FINALLY DID. GOOD JOB PHONE. FINALLY.

    I'm also sorry that I just blabbered forever. True American, I swear.
    I'm not sure I'll be able to rp until school's over though, but that's less than a week from now. I only really have time to put this, y'know ;-; cause my phone finally let me on thank gods)

    Alfred smiled at the little "Me?", finding it a bit of a strange reaction. "I'm great!" He stated brightly, turning his music up a bit when High Hopes in Velvet Ropes began to sound from the speakers.
    * * /little time skip I hope that's okay ;w;/ * *
    As the gravel crunched underneath the tires of his car, coming to a stop, the blonde American's eyes lit up ever so slightly, the smell of the trees now surrounding them carrying through the cracked windows. He didn't do it often, but Alfred actually enjoyed hiking; the feel of the nature around him released so much tension and left him in the greatest of moods.
    Stepping out of the vehicle, he shut the door behind him, standing in place beside it while looking about for a moment. He then smiled and turned to face Maddie, chirping a "Ready to go?"

    (Jfehgiegothieoji you're so nice ;;w;; Dang, you're babysitting for ten hours a day?? All summer?? That is insane ovo you must have a lot of patience oh my goodness.)

    "Oh..." N felt his smile falter a bit, but tried to put it back in place. He wasn't exactly the best at hiding emotions; he was more of an open person. He liked it when people knew how he was feeling. "It's nice you're continuing to do this after she's gone. I think she'd probably like that. You know, no one really likes to be forgotten, I'm sure she'd feel good if you talked about her sometimes." His voice was toned down a bit from the usual bright sound. He was really affected by the feelings of others, and when someone felt some form of pain he was bound to react to it.
