Glitteringgold was, following what seemed like a gruelling eternity, nearing his last stop. His dainty paws were so tender that every step was more unpleasant than the last and his muscles ached terribly. Though a good few years away from being considered an elder, his ageing frame was not suited to wandering such vast distances with very little rest in between. He had known that before he even setting off on the journey and yet for the sake of making a better impression, had decided against opting to send someone out on his behalf. He craved to be back home and to collapse in a heap on his soft bed, but he was doubtful he would get the chance to when he did return. That was the exhausting reality of being a leader and a deputy of two separate groups; there was always something to do or that required his attention.

All of the previous destinations had something in common, that Glitteringgold knew something about them beyond their name whether that be that he had visited or lived there in the past, had heard about it by word of mouth or had contacts there, but the Sanctuary was the first and only that did not continue that trend. He knew next to nothing about them, and so this visit would present the perfect opportunity to change that. Taking a seat at the invisible line that marked the borders, the pale feline would wait patiently for someone to acknowledge his presence.

Had this been the first time Sweettalk had directed a flirtatious remark his way, Glitteringgold would have been surprised, but as it seemed to be typical of him, he would be more surprised if he didn't mark one. Though not entirely sure what to make of it, he was flattered that someone had supposedly taken such a liking to him. The fact that he had been single for three years indicated that he did not often attract this kind of attention, and therefore was rather clueless on how to respond in a way that would not put risk to his professional appearance. Returning a wink, he would purse his lips in thought. "Sweettalk. Deliver some gifts to an ally of your choice. And for your second task: set up a party." Turning to 1004, the second to arrive, he would nod. "1004. The herb supply is likely diminishing and in need of fresh replacements. Organise a patrol together to gather some more." It would also make for a good opportunity to find out if there were any potential candidates for the Medic Trainee position.

A joiner was most definitely a welcome sight in the Dark Dynasty. Though Glitteringgold had come to learn in the time since he first arrived at the borders of the Velu Forest some moons ago that it was not unusual for the palace to be quiet and almost desolate even, it had been excessively so these most recent weeks. Softvelvet, his predecessor, had been a very capable leader as evidenced by his long reign and had done well to keep things alive, but now that responsibility had been passed down to him. The place in which he was born and raised, RiverClan, had already fallen, and he so desperately did not want the same to happen to the Dynasty. Glitteringgold would not sit idly by and watch them fall. To revive a Clan seemed like an easy task to a bystander and more so easy to pass judgement on those at the top, but when placed in that position, one would quickly learn that it was not.

Pale ears swivelling forth as the voice reached the nearby pale feline, claiming that they were here with intention to join, he was naturally obliged to answer and did not hesitate in doing so. Emerging through the bamboo, his slender frame weaving through the density with experience and ease, he would raise his golden oculars to that of the strangers with a warm smile extended across his lips. "Greetings. We would be delighted to have you with us," the words would roll with a genuine sincerity over his sandpaper tongue, and was quickly followed polite tip of his angular head. "My name is Glitteringgold, leader of the Dark Dynasty. And you are?"

Glitteringgold couldn't agree more with Windwaker. It had been some time since the last weekly tasks, and since they had gained a few more members recently, that was only even more reason to do so. He was somewhat thankful that someone else had taken the initiative this time, as it would make a nice change to receive a weekly task rather than to be the one handing them out for others to receive. "I'll take one," the pale feline announced upon his arrival, golden oculars coming to rest on the horned rabbit.

Glitteringgold had never been to the Volcanic Isle, and had never felt inclined to do so of his own accord. The name of the area did not offer much to be desired, as all the only image that he could fabricate in his mind upon hearing it was a volcano spewing lava and barren land surrounding it. With that said, he was not going to pass up on the opportunity of a field trip. With his newfound responsibilities in the Dark Dynasty, his presence around the Tribe had been lacking in the time since and he was eager to not to allow himself to do so any longer. "I'll come along," the feline would announce as his dainty paws carried him forth, greeting Micah with a warm and friendly smile.

While Glitteringgold did not possess the power himself, and was currently only acquainted with one individual that did that he had personally witnessed to utilise it, he was familiar with the means of transport that was teleportation. There were limitations to it, much more now than there was when it first became available to the masses, but it was still useful in some situations - if only he had acquired it prior to this journey, it may have saved the aching in his legs. It was next to impossible to predict when those that did possess it would use it, and so when the serval suddenly appeared before him from some distance away, he couldn't help feel surprised. However, there was no indication of this externally, and to even the most keen of eyes he remained unchanged. Another approached soon after, but in a more traditional and less spontaneous manner than the aforementioned, with no further words than what had already been spoken.

Offering a polite tip of his head to the two, the pale feline would focus his tired yet warm golden gaze on the one that had outwardly addressed him, a genuinely friendly smile placed upon his lips. "Thank you for the welcome. My name is Glitteringgold." He hadn't actually prepared a script in advance, so would pause for a moment, pursing his lips until the words came to his mind. "I am here on behalf of the Dark Dynasty, to deliver information regarding recent and important changes that have occurred. Softvelvet has stepped down from his position and I am now leader in his place. I value our alliance, and hope that we can work together to build it stronger."

Chicagocrimes was right. Glitteringgold was beat, or exhausted as he would personally describe it, and yet to even the untrained eye there was an indisputable determination that radiated from him, his posture remained composed despite his aching muscles and his golden gaze shined warmly at the approaching stranger. One would be mistaken in thinking that his exhaustion was the result of his dual alliance and his positions in said alliances, for that was not the case at all, though it would be a lie to say that they weren't tiring at times. He had just been a bit over zealous with what his body could manage. Five Clans without rest and without the aid of powers would have the same effect on anyone, let alone someone of his age. "Ah, you might say that. I apologise for my slightly dishevelled appearance. I have been travelling all day, and the Sanctuary is the last of many stops." The feline would explain, dipping his head politely to Chicago. "Thank you for your kind offer, as tempting as it is I must decline."

The purpose of his visit had actually been to deliver the news of the new leadership in the Dark Dynasty, but it would seem that they had already been made aware. It would not be without reason, however. They were one of their allies, and it would be simply unacceptable for a leader to know nothing about them. "My name is Glitteringgold. You might have heard this by now, but I felt it would be better for me to personally deliver the news. Softvelvet has stepped down from his position as leader of the Dark Dynasty and I am now in his place. I came to confirm that, despite this change, our alliance remains as it was before, and hope that we can work together to strengthen it."

It was not long before the presence of Glitteringgold attracted the attention of not one, but four individuals. As news of the fire had not reached the likes of the Dark Dynasty, further evidence to the lack of outer-Clan communication that he hoped to change under his leadership, he had been rather alarmed and concerned to witness the destruction upon his approach. The arrival of so many, and in such a short amount of time too, assured him that Thunderlands was still thriving despite what had happened.

"Greetings to you all." A friendly smile would extend across his lips, and in extension to his words he would tip his pale head briefly yet politely to the four in his company. His shimmering golden gaze eventually came to settle upon Artemis, as she had been the first to arrive and the one to inquire about his intentions on their borders. "My name is Glitteringgold. I have come to deliver news of a recent and important change that occurred in the Dark Dynasty; Softvelvet has stepped down from leadership and I have been named in his place. I would like to confirm that, despite this, our alliance remains and I hope that we can work together to strengthen it."

There was a pause, his gaze drifting away to the charred remnants of what used to be jungle. It did not take a detective to determine that it had been caused by a fire, but of accidental or deliberate origin he did not know, and though he was curious, he decided against asking what happened in the fear that it could be a sensitive topic. "How have you been holding up? The Dark Dynasty is small in numbers, but we would be more than happy to lend a helping paw should you ever need it. It is the least we could do."

"Greetings," the word would roll smoothly and with genuine warmth over his sandpaper tongue as the two approached him, a subsequent brief yet polite tip of his angular head to extend upon its sincerity. The pale feline did not find familiarity in Meenah as she did to him, but it was entirely possible that they had encountered each other in the past and it had since slipped his mind. He didn't have the best memory, and even if he did, he had met so many over the years that it would still be difficult to remember them all. "My name is Glitteringgold and I have come on behalf of the Dark Dynasty to deliver news of an important change that has occurred there. Softvelvet has stepped down from his position and I am now leading in his place. I would like to confirm that, despite this, our alliance still remains and that I hope we can work together to strengthen it."

The sound that Glitteringgold identified to be the flapping of wings marked the first indication that his presence had been noticed. His golden oculars would raise to the skies above him, and he would see a hawk circling above in a manner that was almost threatening. The figure of a domestic feline subsequently came into view, whom he guessed to be the owner of the aforementioned bird, but stopped some distance away, seemingly hesitant to approach and ears drawn back in what he could only assume was caution. He was certain that they were well acquainted with the scent of the Tribe, as the recently re-named Micah had led them at one point, and so could deduct that it was the scent of his other home, the Dark Dynasty, that had prompted this response. The second to arrive did not seem to be as much, and he would simply blink as he stuck his tongue out at the other. Charming. The fact that they did not recognise the scent suggested to him the true extent of the lack of outer-Clan communication on the part of the Dark Dynasty, which he hoped to change under his leadership.

"Greetings," the pale feline would begin, offering the two in his company a polite and brief tip of his angular head. His friendly golden gaze would come to settle on Cassiopeia, as she had been the one to speak. "I have come on behalf of the Dark Dynasty, an ally of Wind Haven if the information I have at my disposal is correct, to deliver the news that Softvelvet has stepped down from leadership and I have taken his place. I hope our alliance can remain and that we can work together to strengthen it."

Thanks for making it! I did see it, but as I haven't had the time to reply yet and I apologise for that.

I won't get a response typed up tonight as it is quite late and I'll be logging off soon, but I will hopefully have it done tomorrow. c:

A warm welcome to all our newcomers!

If you have any questions at all about the Dark Dynasty or the extended game in general, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

BO-CHEO I'm am unsure what you mean by liquid time, but you most certainly can post in any and as many open threads as you feel like - even those that were posted before the date Botan officially joined the Dynasty. I hope that answers your question.

The Medic Trainee position is still open, and with a consistent presence will almost always lead to a promotion to the full Medic position in time. There can also be more than one Medic at once.

I look forward to seeing it! It doesn't need to long, a short form is completely fine. :)

That's awesome. Bittersweet is Glitteringgolds first cousin once removed, but I'm not entirely sure what Paradiselost would be. I'd have to go through his tree to check. I did most of the research into his family a a few years back, I'm kind of rusty at it now aha.

The same thing happened with Glitteringgolds immediate family. I've been roleplaying him for five years, and in that time most have either left the site or dropped their character, so I'm one of the few left. That's why I decided to make this mass adoption actually.

The Dark Dynasty leader golden oculars would shift yet again as an additional voice reached him. The source, a well-spoken and seemingly composed male, was one of their newest members. A warm smile would extend across his lips. "Botan, take out a hunting patrol." Was it the most exciting of tasks? No, but it was very much vital. "It will help you familiarise yourself with the territory, as well as ensuring the prey supply is fresh and well stocked."

Alerted to the scene by the initial howl of Starkeeper, as well as the subsequent incoherent voice that he recognised as that belonging to Darkskies, the feline would urgently emerge from the long grass, a quizzical and concerned expression worn upon his pale features. He found his golden gaze drawn he bundle of fur that Darkskies grasped in her maw, and the cause of the commotion quickly became apparent to him. It was a kit. The father to many children, he could tell that she was too young to take care of herself and that had his tribemates not found her when they did, she would have mostly certainly perished. "Where did you find her? Is there any sign of the mother in the area? Or any siblings?" He would question.
